Dwight Tiendalli to join on a free-transfer when his contract expires later this month.
He is at McClaren's old club, is a Surinamese-born, former Duth U21 international and won the league with FC Twente in 2009.
But, most importantly, he's a left-back!

Nigel Doughty has put £25million into the club in the last two seasons, so I think it's a bit of a fallacy to suggest that no money has been made available. Steve will have similar funds

Steve McClaren will have 25 Million pounds to spend at Nottingham Forest. His first signing will be a left back , and if reports are true then expect one to be signed in the next day or two. Also a few Dutch players will be coming to the City Ground, something that has been missing for a while.

Davies to be gone by the end of the week at the latest. Redundancy payment was discussed 2 days after the play off defeat and Billy has not come into work other than to discuss this matter for the past 2 weeks. Expect a shock return to English management for Steve Maclaren, who has been lined up to take over the helm. I'm a gutted reds fan, I feel Davies deserves to honour his contract and have one last crack but it looks like Doughty has had enough. This is not absolute fact, it's through word of mouth after all, but it is what I've heard. If it is wrong I apologise, but I honestly wouldn't post unless I felt a rumour has legs.

What's your view Ed?

O'T'B {Ed001's Note - I am not sure, I just know things are fraught behind the scenes and Davies is unhappy with the AP and their constant failure to bring in the players he feels he needs.}

Warned you. No need to thank me.

I must admitt i didn't believe you but this is pretty impressive. Do you have any transfer rumours?

Steve McLaren to become the next manager at the CG

Despite what some think, he's done good at club level. 1 Euro Cup final (With Boro of all teams, take note Kris Boyd) Dutch Erevedise runners up and then winners, and has knowledge of the game in ze Germanland. I think he do good at Forest. And his interview when he signed for Twente was classic. .

Le Mousse will wait till he knows what is happening at CG before considering becoming a long term (James Perch type) sub at Everton, hope you reading Mousssssssse. .

Earnie will probably be leaving for Birmingham or West Ham.

Bennett will sign new contract soon, two year extension.

Forest will NOT sign Bertrand, Konchesky, Parr, Whittingham, Pratley, Greening, some Palace player, anybody for that instance, as ND and MA know nothing about taking a business forward.

Period.

(and I'm not American)
