jonathon greening has not featured in Fulhams game tonight. Not even a sub will sign for us tomorrow as our new captain

Believable14 Unbelievable3

If u had listened to jol he said he was at forest

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep your knickers on mr angry. I dis not know jol had said that I was just passing comment no need for attitude

jimmy Flloyd haselbank training with the squad nottinghamforest official site, the lads seem to be in a new training regime and according to ando they are rearing to go. i think all will be well in the end. by the way hasselbank is trainging for his badge and will no doubt be a mojor part of the forest back room staff, may even be McClarens number 2?

Believable9 Unbelievable9

JFH is in the middle of doing his badges. Forest are letting him work with some of the lads as a striker coach one day a week, as part of the requirement for his badges. There is no long term agreement in place.

Agree0 Disagree0

JFH works one day a week in england with the strikers but has been included in the portugal trip for the full 5 days, he wont be the new number 2

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah he's not full time yet

If Wayne Routledge can not be persuaded to come to the city ground, Steve mcclaren will turn his attention to Adam hammill, who is believed to be unhappy with the lack of games at wolves. It is expected that the midlands club would ask for a fee of around 1.2 million for the winger.

(Wolves Rumour page)

Believable13 Unbelievable13

One of the potential things that may also draw Routledge to nottingham is the fact he is best mates with Blackstock :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't say no to Hammill

Jonathan Greening signed. Wayne Routledge Signed. Nicky Shorey signed, deal has been arranged via telephone. Mark Arthur in talks with Anton Ferdinand. Nicky Maynard wants to play for forest. Daryl Murphy deal done, will be revealed with the other signings. rob Hulse in talks with McClaren. That makes seven players we have got or are getting, so i ask you all did we really lose that much faith or were we just so nervous that it all came out as frustration? Quote from roy hodgson " Forest will be a force " I think the man was right?

Believable11 Unbelievable16

I really wish you are right about Greening, Routledge, Shorey and Maynard (although I prefer Billy Sharp)...I do not want Murphy and Hulse....they are journey men strikers no better than Tudgay and McGoldrick

Agree0 Disagree0

Maynard Murphy & Hulse ?
3 strikers ??
What about McGoldrick Garner Blackstock Findley & Tudgay ?

Do we need 8 strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't worry yourself, the first post is nothing but a dream, Maynard? I really doubt it somehow.

Agree0 Disagree0

We might see McGugan in a more forward role as SM prefers a 4-3-3.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is your name dreamer, Nigel Doughty?

Players to be signed by Forest: Jonathan greening
Wayne routledge
Daryl murphy
Jo (loan deal)
Nicky shorey or Ryan Bertrand for LB position
Bolo zenden
George boateng
Nicky Maynard
This is a total of eight signings which McClaren wanted plus Andy Reid who has already signed.

Believable11 Unbelievable13

I hope this is mostly truth however i wouldnt really want daryl murphy or jo

Robert Greening deal just about sealed, and hopefully pacey winger Wayne Routledge will follow him into the club

Evening Post

Believable6 Unbelievable10

I thought we were chasing jonathon greening ?

Agree0 Disagree0

What is the need to repeat something which has already been stated in the NEP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did not know we were chasing Robert Greening , is he any relation to Jonathan ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you mean jonathon greening?

Agree0 Disagree0

His name is jonathon greening not robert greening. You bimbo hahaha

Agree0 Disagree0

Its Johanathan Greening not robert greening? i think we have signed greening as im watching the fulham game and when doing the line ups the commentator said martin Jol has many changes as Johnathan Greening Has Left For NOTTINGHAM FOREST {Ed016's Note - Its Jonathan Greening}

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's Robert Greening? Who does he play for?

Agree0 Disagree0

We're also close to completing deals for Neil Shorey, William Routledge and Shabba Ranks.

14 Jul 2011 19:13:01
Ryan Bertrand deal could be back on after Neil Taylor signed a new contract at Swansea City. Nicky Shorey remains mcclaren's first choice due to added experience but may opt for Bertrand if he can't get his man.

Believable8 Unbelievable14

Bertrand is 7million and won't be bought only loaned at best

Agree0 Disagree0

Buy Nicky Shorey if we can...we have promising young LFB in Freeman he vcan learn from Nicky - Bertie is now too expensive

Forest looking to sign Shaun Barker from the scum, He's a reds fan and would relish the chance to play for his boyhood club. The sheep want at least 1.5million. The Jo rumour is also circulating around, seen various rumours quoting different wage offers, the most common being 50% around £25,000 - £30,000.

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Barker injured, clough says he isnt likely to play the season opener so would he pass a medical? plus he turned down the chance to play for us to join direby in the first place...not gonna happen

Agree0 Disagree0

The boyhood club he rejected and went to derby instead, try again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Barker isnt good enough for the Garibaldi

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes rubbish for derby why would the trees want him

I said big loan signings but didn't think Jo would be in the running. Basically Mancini has to get rid of 13 players and will allow them to go anywhere along as not a man city rival. Mcclaren actually in talks with Jo and looks like we would pay 15 of his wages. Money isn't there issue is just getting players out to get there squad to 25. Micahel Johnson also been touted.

Believable6 Unbelievable7

JO - coming to us? You are off your rocker Why on earther do you think he would drop a division when he can play in any top division. If you are not bonkers and right - then he is

McClaren trying to wrap up a loan deal to bring Jo to the Championship for 6 months. Forest want to pay half of his £60k wages and Man City are just happy to let him go anywhere for a loan fee of £1m which McClaren sees as realistic in this transfer market.

Should be tied up by Monday and announced next week.

Source - very close relative of one of the directors, who shall remain nameless

Believable10 Unbelievable13

1.72m for 6 months? Don't lie, or if you do make it good

Agree0 Disagree0

What absolute rubbish - we all know Forest's rigid wage structure and are struggling to pay wages to get players in at even 15k never mind 30k.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lies 26 x 30k = 780k or 1M (UP FRONT) signing fee. If you are going to make up rumours at least make sure they're feasible and logical.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish he went on a loan to galstry a couple of years ago on more then 30 so y would he come to us , he had a loan to everton ... it like saying berbetov will be comin

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest will not pay 30k in wages to anyone. They refused to pay Earnie 15k

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe he is taking on Boyd and Konchesky's wages? They were on circa 50k between them.

I've heard Jo touted about but the figures may be out. Possibly a 1m deal in total?

Jonathan greening , george boateng, nicky maynard and daryl murphy all to sign for forest by the end of the weekend , murphys bid accepted by celtic
Expect greening to sign by end of today or tomorow and is highly ranked to be become the new forest captain, valuable source working within the city ground, believe what you wish but this is no word of a lie, come on the reds , the future is looking up

Believable14 Unbelievable9

I hope this is true to make my season ticket look gd for the money I paid for it

Agree0 Disagree0

It will indeed however it is that we have had 3 bids for maynard rejected so we are hoping that his links with mgugan draw him to the club and bristol city are willing to let him go , the other 3 are almost done deals , well greening has signed and agreed terms

Think you mean the red 4/5ths of Nottingham

Agree0 Disagree0

Routledge to Swansea is not a done deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream on. We don't do multiple signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Another target not going anywhere:

Karim El Ahmadi has cooled talk of an English move by insisting he still wants to prove himself in the Netherlands.

The defensive midfielder has been heavily linked with a Feyenoord exit this summer after making just 15 appearances for the Eredivisie club last season.

Championship side Nottingham Forest are thought to be chasing his signature, with new manager Steve McClaren having witnessed the 26-year-old in action during his time in Holland managing FC Twente.

But El Ahmadi, who joined Feyenoord from Twente shortly before McClaren's arrival in Enschede in 2008, has hinted he would prefer to stay on in his home country and prove his worth after a difficult spell at De Kuip.

Ambition
"I'm 26 years old, I'm not done, " he told Voetbal International.

"For almost three years I've not shown what I can do, so it's time to let everyone see that I'm potentially still one of the best midfielders in the Netherlands.

"The ambition to prove it burns more than ever."

Financially-stricken Feyenoord are reportedly keen to offload El Ahmadi this summer due to his high salary.

The Dutch-born Morocco international is under contract in Rotterdam until 2013.
