Wayne Bridge DONE DEAL

Juicyplums

Believable9 Unbelievable22

Bulls**t source ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just like the Ncky Shorey deal done eh ?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only 'done deal' is the fact that there will be plenty of empty seats on Saturday. Happy now Mr doubty?

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe you Juicy!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok Juicy...when is this deal to be announced?

If its done as you say it is, when will us normal folk get to know about it?

Agree0 Disagree0

No mate, he's not coming mate.
Rather sit in stands watching earning his cash than play in Championship mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

7 people believe this crap!

Agree0 Disagree0

Done deal my arse

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not

Mcgoaldrought gone Sheffield Wednesday. Exciting times

Believable21 Unbelievable8

Yes but it's only a month! Still excited?

Agree0 Disagree0

Need INs not OUTs though...

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm....still 4 weeks of confidence that any striker that plays for us could hit the target at least 5% of the time

Agree0 Disagree0

Talk about out of the blue ! i think its best for him and for forest at the moment though

Agree0 Disagree0

Good but were is our loan targets no team left soon lol like others say all going non coming in

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever his wages are for a month - give it to Wayne Bridge as a sweetner

Agree0 Disagree0

I think goal drought going strengthens our team. The guy is pants!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where have people seen the goldie to wednesday story ? not saying its not true just not heard anything :)

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope we dont see him back, get rid of him for good in January!

Agree0 Disagree0

Chap who wants a source: It's on the NFFC official site.

Seems like Doughty has said to Steve he can have money for loan signings if he sends some players out on loan. Let's hope so anyway!

Agree0 Disagree0

HA HA and he scores on his debut

Agree0 Disagree0

To the morons that think David mcgoldrick is rubbish, he scored for Sheffield wed. He's a top class player, he scored bags of goals at southampton when they went down. Some of u idiots want instant success but in reality it doesn't happen. Some of you 'fans' are just stupid! Back the manager back the board and back the players. U lot moan about prices and ND pumps millions of pounds into the club of his own money. Id like to see some of u putting that amount of money in to forest, yet again the 50 odd quid a week most of u get from the doll wouldn't do much. 3 players to come in by the end of the week 2 from united and 1 from city, also tudgay will be going to watford on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Put your dummy back in

man city are allowing the proposed loan deal, mancini said he stupid to turn down a chance to play football, this I understand is now down to bridge to decide to play every week and still get paid,or get paid and not play!
I'm sure another team will come in for him,in the prem, but hey at least we are looking for left back,a winger to follow and we will compete this season.

Believable11 Unbelievable13

Where your information what sauce hp

Agree0 Disagree0

Good joke; only the 612th time it's been made on the site.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeo we all know what we need, but does the heirarchy!

So on that basis, it wont happen......that old saying, dont count your chickens!

The Wayne Bridge proposed loan deal is reported on BBC Sport in the gossip column.
Nice signing if we can get him. Here's hoping. Chugsy

Believable12 Unbelievable11

Probably posted by someone on here

Agree0 Disagree0

Being a cynic, I think the nearest we'll get to Wayne Bridge is his brother Trent or his mother, Lady Bay.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want someone who clearly is not interested in playing football? he would much rather collect if Man City paycheck and go shopping! he had opportunity in the summer to go to either Celtic or Newcastle!
Also remember how poor he was last year at West Ham? first game for them he was at fault for 3 goals conceded!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably a rumour put about by the Forest board to scare the Forest fans into dropping their demands for a new left back!

Agree0 Disagree0

Unless you know Bridge personally how on earth can you say he's not interested in playing football?! It's easy to criticise and say he could have gone here and there, but unless you know the intricate details of the deal you're not really in a position to. As in everyday life, people turn down the chance to join other companies because for some reason it's not right for them - footballers are no different. As for him being poor for West Ham last season, they were a poor team and even Messi would have looked bad in that side! The fact is that he is a good player, has a lot of experience, and he's a natural left-back, and on the basis we don't have one of these right now he would clearly only make us better. So think before you write such utter nonsense next time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne Bridge has a lot of integrity, and while his move to Man City certainly sealed his familys retirement plan he is no shyster.

The way he handled the media and England over the John Terry incident was impeccable, he kept his head down and nose clean.

Going to a club like Newcastle or Celtic wouldn't be the best fit for a "quiet man". I imagine he will not join us at Trent Side but will look for a club that matches his respect and professionalism.

For the record I do feel Forest do meet that criterion - Helping Julian Bennet is an example of that.

Agree0 Disagree0

To much time going on and on about things we have no control over we all know deep down he would never come to forest and who could blame him

Nottingham Forest have increased there percentage wage contribution to 18k per week for Wayne Bridge, he will be in Nottingham later this evening for a medical and will join the squad tomorrow for training, will go straight in to the team for the big game on saturday.

AC

Believable13 Unbelievable28

No they havnt and no he wont

Agree0 Disagree0

AC = Absolute Crap

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like forest still interested in wayne bridge fingers crossed (sports vibe)

Agree0 Disagree0

It has been mentioned again in the sun this morning. I think it might happen. Lets stop all the negativity.Theres a big game on saturday against the filth, and we need to get behind the lads. coyr!

Agree0 Disagree0

What ever, and you know this how?

Magic crystal ball, tea leaves or just a dream!

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I just being naive, but with the money we've paid for salaries for Storey, Konchesky and possibly Bridge, couldn't we have just bought a decent Championship/lower Prem left back? Guess we shouldn't moan about internationals coming to Forest but wouldn't it have been cheaper and just as effective?

Agree0 Disagree0

AC slater..saved by the bell

Agree0 Disagree0

- Correct. Wages and loan fees would've coveredthe cost of buying a player outright.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don`t be silly, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.we are way down the pecking order I`m ashamed to say.Would be nice though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle United will be his destination

Agree0 Disagree0

I really can't see this happening. We just don't have the means (or will really) to anything quite like this.

Agree0 Disagree0

You say Bridge is joining today and playing tomorrow...mmm what time is he joining then ? as usual complete buls**t why do you do these things you sad man you got nothing better to do

Agree0 Disagree0

Nottingham forest interested in bringing in Sunderland ace David Meyler in on loan. The irish centre midfielder is interested in joining forest in order to get some game time under his belt after a year of injury trouble

Believable7 Unbelievable15

Surely if any players come in it needs to be defenders ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? Not an area we need players for!

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly! Killgallon perhaps, Nosworthy possible.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please God not Nosworthy. Saw him for blades against us last year- horrendous. Slower than Andy Reid, zero positional sense, and most of his clearance went straight up in the air and came down in the box. Please stop this rumour now.
