BBC breaking news Sean O'Driscoll is the new Crawley manager

Believable8 Unbelievable5

Time and tide wait for no man...

Agree4 Disagree2

Again...this is a rumour website...

Editors...why do you allow this stuff to make the site, its Fact not a rumour? {Ed003's Note - We don't have a fact page so the rumour site is the obvious choice for people posting news that has broken,banter sometimes, depends who edited it. I dont get what the problem is}

Agree2 Disagree5

So anything too close to the truth makes you angry? but ridiculous rumours make you smile....you may be better off just imgining stories in your head

Agree4 Disagree1

Plus this started out as a rumour and is now TRUE. What it wrong with that? Clown.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ive not got a problem with someone posting that he might be going to crawley and all the banter and normal denial and opinion that comes with it, but as a rumour website surly it should be just rumours? For breaking news i will check NFFC website/BBC/SSN.

Sky Sports News officially announce Garath McCleary has signed for Reading on a free transfer.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Great Rumour...thanks for that......

Agree6 Disagree6

Sod gone aswel bad day alround left forest for crawley cant believe it

Agree6 Disagree4

Done deal now move on 13 goals in four seasons not good enough ..heard we are going to sign raheem stirling on season long loan from liverpool.

Agree5 Disagree5

This may be stupid but surely since reading signed gmac before his contract ran out, we should get something because i thought it ran out on June 1st ?

Agree3 Disagree2

Then he will leave on june 1st obviously........

Agree2 Disagree1

Your right, it is stupid. Players are allowed to sign for a new club if they only have a period of time, I think 6 months, left on there contract

Agree1 Disagree1

If we have offered him a extension (which we have) then yes, only like 300k but still better than nothing

Agree0 Disagree2

I've heard there is more bad news to come. Don't know if its player or takeover related

Agent 279

Agree1 Disagree2

Where does it say we get 300k?

Agree0 Disagree0

The more bad news is a 2m bid from Swansea for Chris Gunter. This however will start a bidding war.

Agent 279

Agree0 Disagree1

It doesn't but i was told by a fairly reliable person, that if a player gets offered a new contract but leave on a free and they are under a certain age then the club get compensation, anyone else know about this?

Forest to bring in Motherwell defender Shaun Hutchinson to replace Luke Chambers who will leave the club shortly.

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Reading taking a hughe gamble on an unproved player he has only played well for the last couple of months. they will need far better players tham McCleary if they are to stay up next season. Anothre badge kissing liar syas hwe wanted to stay and repay otterill for his faith in him. Would have been in the wilderness if not for the manager.

Agree3 Disagree5

The only gamble is his wages surely?

Agree0 Disagree3

Gunts as made him look better then he is this season

Agree2 Disagree1

Reading can't go wrong for a free transfer, there in the premiership now.Where even the players that nobody rates go for 6 million

Agree1 Disagree0

He's gambling himself, he's not forced to get regular football, if he doesn't make a good impression he'll be bench bound like Michael Owen. These players think yer but it's more money, but they arnt looking long term. Might be more money next season but what about season after when they got rid and nobody wants you because you havnt played.

Could this be the reason Forest are holidaying and pre-seasoning in the USA?

http://www.orlandocitysoccer.com/team/frontoffice/?staff_id=21

We play them pre season.

John Bonner is the co-owner and is a life long Forest fan (new owner of NFFC?!)

The other co-owner (Phil Rawlins) owns Stoke!

G.T.

Believable10 Unbelievable3

Hope so

Agree7 Disagree1

Nah.SC just likes the States and some of the squad have never seen Shamuu at Seaworld.

Agree3 Disagree6

Could be something in it, thats our new Irish owner who also supports Forest and has the American connection, worth a few quid too i would suspect! Any relation to Packie Bonner

Agree5 Disagree1

Let's hope so.

Agree5 Disagree0

I'd like to think he has thought about it, or put in an offer. Good investigative work there.

Agree5 Disagree0

Could be something in this... another listed owner is, Brendan Flood is Managing Director of Modus Properties based in Manchester, England. Modus specializes in property investment and shopping mall development. They are recognized as leaders in the field of urban regeneration. new ground?

Agree3 Disagree2

Another co-owner, Tony Sutton, is also lifelong Forest fan. Could this be the American consortium that has rumoured interest?
Somehow I doubt it, but you never know!

Agree0 Disagree2

There could well be something in this. it's quite a coincidence if not

Agree4 Disagree1

Forget about this one, won't happen!

With Norwich desperate to sign Gunter Nd sc wanting some money to spend on brining in the loan players, a deal of £2m and Jackson is being considered

Believable6 Unbelievable7

This would be a really good deal, but it only adds to the half a dozen strikers we already have... And I doubt it'll happen seeing as Jackson played on the last game of the season...

Agree1 Disagree3

So what if Jackson played on the last game of the season? Doesn't rule out him being sold.

2 million plus a player is probably acceptable. Whether or not it happens is debateable, I'm swinging towards it not happening.

Agree3 Disagree0

Will; it make a difference if lambert leaves?

Agree1 Disagree0

Jackson would be a good signing

2 mil straight out again on guedioura and elokobi?
freeman into first team? sell other strikers to get cash for new defenders?

Agree5 Disagree0

If the McCleary deal goes through, we have a very good chance of signing a right mid / striker.
Have been told that Im not allowed to release the name untill later this evening at earliest.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Apparently there is going to be news later??

Agree2 Disagree3

50% correct and 50% bull. I'll let you all decide which is which lol

Agree2 Disagree1

Who is it then ?

Agree1 Disagree0

It will be rubbish

Agree1 Disagree0

We will find out soon enough whether its real or not

Agree1 Disagree1

You're the journalist, Darren Kelly then are you?

Agree0 Disagree0

PS it is raheem sterling.
The liverpool youngster on a season long loan.....if it happens.

Apparantly, we (Leicester City) are interested in Chambers!....why? he is certainly no better than what we already have in his position so why bother, we told you and told you (the fans not the club) that we did'nt want Morgan, how the hell you lot rated him as a central defender i will never know, all i can say is that you must be very easily pleased!...all we've done since he came into the side is ship bloody goals, mainly straight through him, f*****g useless lump and the only reason that NP kept playing him is because the manager is one pig headed son S.o.B.....he bought him so he wont be proved wrong! (i still support my manager, does'nt mean i have to agree with him or like him!)...now we are after giving you good money for another of your donkeys, at this bloody rate you'll have more of our clubs money than we will!

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Money money money in the rich mans hand

Agree1 Disagree0

You won't be giving us good money, as he is out of contract! Doh!!

Agree2 Disagree0

1. We never rated morgan, he was consistent...at being average! Not outstanding. Your poor business of paying 1m not us.
2. We will not get any money for Luke Chambers as he is out on contract, and is rubbish, so please, feel free to take him.

Army

Agree8 Disagree0

To be fair to Morgan he was a great player and u got him at the right time (for us) he's well passed it fat and slow I agree. As for Chambers he did have 1-2 good seasons and this season he has been shocking so many goals he was totally to blame for so I hope you get him and they both pair up again next year now that will be funny LMFAO u could have Messi in your team and he could score a hat trick every game and u would lose 4-3 or more good luck fingers x'd u get him as 90% of Forest fans don't want him.

Agree4 Disagree0

Not all Forest supporters rated wes I for one thought he was very limited in what he can do but every now and then he does something good

Agree4 Disagree1

We loved wes hes a forest lad born & bred thats why he keeps letting goals in,deep down he hates festa, you never beat wes morgan ||||||||

Agree8 Disagree0

Wes always split opinions. For the league we're in he was ok when he was just slow. Now he's fat and slow he's not really worth it.

And to be fair to SC he couldn't get rid of him quick enough when leicester offered cash money for him.

Agree3 Disagree0

Those who say Wes is rubbish and call themselves a Forest supporter obviously need to find a new team to support. The effort and commitment he put in and he still gets slated for moving on... I call jealousy.

Agree2 Disagree4

Agree about Wes. He was/is steady but in no way "great". If he was he would have been in the prem a long time ago.

Agree2 Disagree0

The thing about Wes is he a championship level defender, and there are some very average players in our league. That explains why he has played 400 odd games. If it had been my call I would have delivered him there for 1m.

Agent 279

Agree2 Disagree0

He was loved by our fans,
admittedly he was never great, but he was loyal and fairly consistent, weve had a lot worse!
