forest ready to finalize 2 year contract for emile heskey according to his agent

Believable11 Unbelievable43

He wouldn;t get a two year contract on skeggy beach

Agree3 Disagree2

Heskey can come to the CG anytime he wants as a paying spectator

Agree3 Disagree1

Who wrote this? his agent himself!

Agree2 Disagree0

I'd go out and buy a heskey shirt straight away no lie

Agree1 Disagree1

A good foil take spot light off others {Ed034's Note - Ahhh I get it now ;-) say no more Rodney, say no more

Agree1 Disagree0

As a programme seller?

Agree2 Disagree0

Cods and wallop

Agree2 Disagree0

Can actually see this being true

Agree0 Disagree1

Needed a morning laugh he wouldent last 2 years the old goat

Agree0 Disagree0

Noooooooooooooooooooo!

Agree0 Disagree0

Heskey is an improvement on Dadi and Adebola that we have had in this mould of player in recent years

Agree0 Disagree0

I seriously hope this is total BS, Heskey could not hit a barn door, he is useless!

Seriously if SoD thinks Heskey is the answer for us not scoring enough...then he has gone down in my book.

Heskey total waste of space and cash........No thanks!

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down he aint that bad and would be handy coming of the bench for us...

Agree0 Disagree0

DON'T TALK WET!
He is nowhere near an SOD type of player.

Agree0 Disagree0

You know what you get with him very under rated. bring player around into the game could work will with blackstock or cox.

remember how good him and owen were together

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope we sign him I think he would be decent at least on a 1 year contract

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously the sheep wrote this.

Mcgoldrick on his way to Coventry on loan and poss perm in jan

Believable20 Unbelievable12

God i hope not!

Agree2 Disagree1

Op here its in the local Coventry paper

Agree2 Disagree0

I still feel that, given a decent run, Goldie could come good. Maybe a loan spell would do his confidence good but I think we should keep him

Agree1 Disagree1

I thought we sent him to coventry long ago lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Cov have no money to buy him or loan him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep Him.? We have kept him for the last two years without any re-payment.
sell him if we can and re-coup some money to buy a decent player

Agree1 Disagree0

Hopefully! He was bought for a Million and has failed o do anything for Nottingham Forest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sort of looks unlikely now considering he was on the bench today against brizzle.

My mate is a big donny rovers fan, he does a lot of fund raising work for them and so he knows the players and staff. He says that forest are still in the hunt for coppinger and the rumours of him going to hull are rubbish. He also says that Simon Gillet should be given a fair shot because he said he was their best player last year by a country mile, and is very underated. Also believes we have of the best managers in the country in SOD. FTID

Sounds as though the owners are already trying to tie down players that are out of contract next summer to new ones to avoid losing them for nothing.

Bader Al Mutawa is able to get a work permit and fawaz is now finalising things at the Qadsia end so that he can make it official.

Shane Lowry is a definite transfer target from Aston villa on loan along with tommy smith from qpr

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Can anyone tell me what the football league rules are for use of loan players?

How many season loanees?
How many short-term/ emergency loaness?

And isn't there a limit on the number of loan players used in a game is it 3 or 4?

Every player i hear us linked with at the moment is a 'season loan'

Agree1 Disagree0

Doesn't shane lowry play for Millwall?

Agree1 Disagree0

Which ones are they then

Agree1 Disagree0

52.3.1 A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League. This figure shall include any additional loan of a goalkeeper approved by the Executive under the provisions of Regulation 54.

52.3.2 Up to 4 loan Players (Standard, Emergency or Youth) may join one Club from another Club in any Season. An additional Youth Loan Player may be added to this figure.

Agree1 Disagree0

53.2.4 A Club can have a maximum of 4 Players under 23 and a further 4 Players over 23 on a Standard Loan during any Season. The deadline for determining a Player's age in this respect shall be 30 June prior to the Season in which the Standard Loan is intended to take place.

53.2.5 No more than 2 Players who are over 23 may join one Club from another Club on a Standard Loan in any Season.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yh shane lowry plays for millwall

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah he started at Villa then left. Matt Lowton plays for Villa! Maybe that's the confusion

Agree1 Disagree0

Crikey, fancy sorting out contracts before summer. Hasn't taken the new owners long to work out the bosman rule.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pity MA and Billy davis didn't work out the Bosman rule before they ruined the club {Ed034's Note - I'm not sure what billy had to do with contract negotiations, but you must know he was involved

Heard Stern John is making a return to the CG, its either as coach or player coach, but you heard it here first! Ant {Ed034's Note - would not be a player, so must be a coach

Believable4 Unbelievable17

You on drugs? stern john as a player coach? youve been on some wacky stuff mate.next roy keane and stan collymore will be returning to fight for a place in the starting 11

Agree2 Disagree0

This is a very strange one.

He is nearly 36, hasn't played for 2 years and has never coached anywhere to my knowledge.

Agree1 Disagree0

He might be coming back as the coach driver.

Agree2 Disagree0

Heard he is coming back as a mascot sidekick, Robin Hood and Stern John

Agree2 Disagree0

I heard it was his mate 'Quite Severe Pete' who was being lined up as coach driver!!

Agree1 Disagree0

There's barely ever a month go by without a stern John mention, it does usually give me s chuckle tho

Simon

Agree1 Disagree0

Stern John has just signed for Blue Square North team Solihull Moors.

Swansea City have made a bid for Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste. However, there could be competition for Baptiste, with Wigan, Leeds and Nottingham Forest Interested

Believable12 Unbelievable8

Has been with Blackpool since 2008 so has he signed a new contract recently? plus if those clubs are in for him I doubt we will get him as he will want prem football. Would be a good player though and get play any where in the back four.

Agree1 Disagree0

This would be a fantastic signing and would complete our defence

Rate the player highly and at 26, he is good for another 5 years at CB

Agree1 Disagree0

A teacher atmy school is cousins with baptiste and before we broke up she said he is lookingfor a house in least midlands so he may preferforest

Agree1 Disagree0

Got family in Mansfield so might want to be local great player was immense when he was at Mansfield.

Agree1 Disagree0

He lives in Mansfield already and goes down there quite often seen in liquid nightclub which is now closed. Baptist actually hates forest with a passion btw. So hope this isn't true

Agree1 Disagree0

Got family in mansfield must be going mansfield then weird jenas dawson and morgan has got family in notts doesnt mean their coming forest.

Agree1 Disagree0

He is awful. Clumsy and always prone to mistakes

Derby are set to make a swoop for forest pair freedman and mcgoldrick. These are the only players that will exit this transfer window but 2 or 3 are yet to come in. One player will be another LB so we have comportition on that side and one will be a RM that will probably be routledge.
What's your thoughts on a LB I haven't heard anyone mentioned.

Believable11 Unbelievable11

Goldie off to Coventry, not Dirtby

Agree0 Disagree0

Coventry are after McGoldrick

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad McGoldrick's going he's terrible
