By the end of the window expect their to be four new signings to add to are current squad. A LB, jay spearing, Hammil and one other.

Believable11 Unbelievable8

One other? Who does he play for? Hopefully he has a good left boot! Top drawer info pal!

Agree0 Disagree0

Fawaz said on radio nottm we are talking to 2 players now and maybe looking at one more after that so you must know more than the man himself pal well done

Adam Hammill will be signing a three year contract in the next 3 days, he wasn't in the Wolves squad today and is believed to be travelling to Nottingham today/tonight.

Jay Spearing will also be signing a 3 year contract.

Believable24 Unbelievable18

Cant see spearingncoming

Coppinger to sign next week £750k

Believable20 Unbelievable13

750k way over priced and no thanks were getting two out of Hall Hammill,Spearing or the lad from Charlton he was'nt in there squad today sorry cannot remember his name {Ed034's Note - even if he's coming in to be back up, 750k's not a bad price

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality passer of a football and a snip at 750k even at 29!! What's up with you? :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Scott wagstaff is the winger from charlton.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not 29 he's 31. If we offer him a 2 year deal at max then i'll be happy with that.

Would love to see Hammil come too

Jay Spearing linked with Forest now

Believable22 Unbelievable13

He is agreat little player always gives 100 percent but cannot see him leaving liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

I've not seen that anywhere! Can't imagine him getting a game at Liverpool though {Ed034's Note - It's been an ongoing rumour for a few weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

He's gonna be sold cos he ain't good enough for liverpool, which says something the way we played today..

Agree0 Disagree0

Just reading the Liverpool forums, they reckon we are going to pay 3m for him, and they can't wait to get rid of him. Hhmmmm.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good player. Particularly at champ standard but 3 million for a midfielder we don't really need is a luxury we don't need I'm afraid at this stage

Agree0 Disagree0

Liverpool fans didn like Konchesky, but he did a great job for us. Liverpool fans expect every player to be world class, if he isn't they slate him. Liverpool fans forget they are now a mid table PL club and not a PL force. So pay no atention to there distorted views. He would be fine for Forest.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fans always slate players that are about to leave.

Agree1 Disagree0

Every time i have watched liverpool play over the last couple of season's i have always thought spearing did a cracking job driving on through midfield linking the play,if he was come to forest i would be very happy the lad has some quality

Agree1 Disagree0

Kocheski did a brilliant job when he came in for us the?! Wtf are you on about, he's the biggest waste of space ive ever seen. He's absolutely aweful. Jay spearing would be an awesome signing, hope it happens.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Liverpool fans didn like Konchesky, but he did a great job for us."

What?

He was about as good at LB for us as James Perch

Shorey, Bertrand, Cunningham, Elokobi, Gunter... just a few better LBs we've had in the last 4 years

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who thought Koncheski did a great job for us. I take it you never went to the games. Awful left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Konch was awful......we don't need spearing either. 'driving on from midfield what coz pep, googs & radi don't? Not to
Mention chrissy Cohen when he's back centre mids we don't need I'd rather us slap down dollar on wingers right now that 3 mill would get us hall, coppinger AND hamill!

Looked good today happy with 3 points and a good start to the season for a change lewis looked good 1st half and to be fair i see gillet as a dark horse sticks his chest out and gives 100% few additions and happy days

Believable19 Unbelievable2

Gillette was worst player on the pitch for us today. Yes he can pass the ball successfully for 2 yards but when he tries a cross the pitch pass more than 2 yards it goes out or to them. No penetration, looks busy whilst doing nothing. Fooled a few people then pick up a paycheck {Ed034's Note - Why? Why? Why? We havnt won an opening game in one many years?? We've got new owners, a new manager a new team and you have to come on and be negetive. We won, Gillett contributed and we all should go to bed happy

Agree1 Disagree1

Gillett played well today, didnt give the ball away in stupid areas,Mou will struggle to get in,he looks good at winning ball only because he gives it away every time he gets it!

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say Gillet had a bad game? He didnt have a great game but he did the simple things well and did all the dirty work. Why do some fans not notice this?He did his job well and that is what he is here for. Abit like a paul mckenna...

Agree2 Disagree0

How can anyone say Gillett had a bad game?! Weve been crying out for a player like that for ages. He was always making himself available for a pass, linking up play wwell and getting stuck in. He was superb today. How could you not see any of this? Im guessing.you.thought Majewski deserved MOTM for a few fancy flicks in the first yes?

Agree2 Disagree0

Gillette reminded me of McKenna in his final season with us actually, slow, busy looking but only able to complete short, ineffective passes sideways or backwards. Yes, I appreciate and am grateful for the result today, the new owners, new manager, new team etc but that should stop anyone from having an opinion on a player they think is poor and whom you just know will be the manager's favourite and will get picked no matter what ( just like McKenna was for Billy). Ed it's fine Gillett going through the motions this weekend and us scraping a win against this season's relegation fodder but you just wait until we play the big boys and the man disappears for long periods of the game. It's fantastic that we are one of the richest sides in the country but that just makes the signing of Gillett even more baffling and desperate looking, there was no need. {Ed034's Note - If you are now saying McKenna was port as well, you really do not understand the role of a dm do you.

Agree0 Disagree0

He reminds me of McKenna speaks to the people around him puts a foot in and breaks up play then gives it to someone who can then create basically he did what he was there to do and did it well, can't believe some fans I even had a bloke behind me moaning after 20 mins some of our fans are such people! {Ed034's Note - Where do you sit? There's a bloke in u1 that does the same every game

Agree0 Disagree0

What happend in the two seasons with McKenna? And why happens in the season without McKenna? Exactly, he does the role which people don't. Notice, keeps the ball slows the pace and organises the defence

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand the role of a DM now thanks Ed, it's to play high cross field passes that go out into touch over the target's head or go straight to the opposition. Seen it enough yesterday. Ok in that case Gillett is a great player. Apologies for my lack of knowledge. {Ed034's Note - Oh dear. Got out of the wrong side of the bed today? You say he played poor, nobody else who went comes on and agrees. You compare him to McKenna, who in your opinion was poor on the last season, then expect me to think you understand the role of a dm. If you can't stand people critisising your posts, I suggest you don't post

Agree0 Disagree0

Also, no I don't think maj was motm he was disappointing along with Maloney and Gillett, none of whom should be in the team when everyone is available and the buying has ended. {Ed034's Note - You don't sit two benign me do you?? He's never happy unless we're playing like Barcelona and winning by 3/4 every game either. I was the forest game of the season, with new players, new manager, new style of play and not a lot of pre season games together.......oh and WE WON?
You must be a right misery guts when we lost, if your like this when we win lol

Agree1 Disagree0

If we're all going to have the same opinion, I suggest none of us post anything else on the site. Are we not allowed to debate, give an opinion and then say why we think it? I can take criticism, it's part of a debate, you should be able to accept a different opinion. You don't have to agree one bit but it's not nice to tell someone not to post because they have a different opinion or saw something differently. As I've said before, I appreciate the win no matter how convincing it was or not but nobody is going to be happy with everything, not even the owner as he has said and Sod who will look for other players cos he is not satisfied with everything. That's part of the rebuild and excitement but don't knock someone for one particular view of one player. {Ed034's Note - You are the only person who has said Gillett was poor. I've not hard one other fan say McKenna was poor. I disagree with your post and you get shirty. This is a friendly sites and we want friendly debates, but also sensible ones. When you said he was poor and reminds you of McKenna, your post became not sensible. But thatsnyournview and your entitled to it. I'm just glad I don't sit near you, because I am a half full sort of fan.
Think it's best left that you have one view and everyone else who posts on here has another.
Who would you like the manager to bring in??

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair enough, we'll agree to disagree on this one and if you want me to stop posting on the site, I shall do that for your sanity ha. I saw McKenna, particularly during the latter half of his last season having a series of very poor games. I liked McKenna very much, a natural leader and DM but at that period he looked very tired (which he probably was) and weary, his legs had gone on he spent a lot of time missing passes and then shouting at the person he tried to pass to, this was no more evident down at Swansea (the league game, not the play off) where he gifted their midfield the run of the park. For me, this spell dis not detract from my opinion of him as a great performer for us in that role but Gillett's unnecessary kick outs into touch and passing the ball to the opposition, both happened within seconds of each other at one point in the game to which my 2 mates (not forest fans) laughed at his ability to just play the simple pass to the unmarked guy 5 yards away from him. It just reminded me of McKenna during his lacklustre period when his legs had gone during that last season. As I say, it was just an observation and an opinion. All the best. {Ed034's Note - I said if you don't like people disagreeing, don't post.
Gueidioura did the same thing with some passes, but his gets forgotten because he is allowed to get forward and do something that makes you forget it. He had a solid game and did his job well, barring a couple of stray passes

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a piece from an article for the benefit of the "I think Gillett was the worst player" poster:
Forest finally broke the deadlock on 71 minutes. Gillett made a dogged tackle on the edge of his own box released Guedioura, who passed to Reid as he lead a four-on-four counter attack. The Irishman released the ball at the perfect moment to find Simon Cox, who cut the ball back for Guedioura to side foot into the goal.
The back four, particularly Man of the Match Danny Collins looked stubborn and hard to break down. Gillett was impressive in the holding role, putting in the type of performance we used to see from former captain Paul McKenna.

Just seems to contradict his take on the game don't you think? Especially his view on Gillett.
But hey, we pays our money & we have our two pen'th for what its worth.

BC G 28

Agree0 Disagree0

As op i notice no opinions to my remarks on lewis but all aimed at gillett i never meant that he was outstanding just that he may well contribute in a way that is not appreciated by everyone

Agree0 Disagree0

Gillet was a diamond sat infront of that back four on saturday if he plays like that every week he will only get better and stronger and more confident he broke most things up and he can pick a pass as well short or long

Agree0 Disagree0

One thing I noticed from Gillet is that he makes the opposition lose the ball by tapping it and out players picked it up ?? Looks good

Fawaz just interviewed on Radio Nottingham. Talking to 2 right wingers. Hoping to bring one in over next couple of days.

Lincoln Rob.

Believable18 Unbelievable3

Starting to look like Ryan Hall will be a Forest player before the end of next week. {Ed034's Note - Hope so. I take it you've seem this somewhere. Be a cracking signing

Agree0 Disagree0

Scott wagstaff didnt play for charlton today abd wasnt even a sub. Hes been linked. Thoughts on if its him?

Will H

Agree0 Disagree0

Happy days

Agree0 Disagree0

Did he say that? I thought he said in advanced talks with two players and a right winger?

Agree1 Disagree0

He also said when asked if he was happy with the way everything was going he said"not entirely" i wonder what he meant by that

Agree0 Disagree0

Love that we are looking at young talent in lower leagues instead of just throwing money at players best way to do business

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love ince though. Scored an excellent goal today and will be a proper player. Hall looks an excellent prospect to though

Agree0 Disagree0

Whereas before when we had inklings on who we are talking too, there has been no concrete rumours for the right winger and just us fans speculating and hoping. It could be someone that's not been mentioned. Of all the rumoured names I'd say hammill most likely but ghats just going on that he was the only one who didn't make squad today

Simon

Agree0 Disagree0

I would imagine Ince's two goals today would put him out of our price range, its been made clear we are not going to go silly like Leicester did last season. {Ed034's Note - I'd happily pay 5m for him

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love ince

Agree0 Disagree0

Ince is worth the 5m if he can get us into the Prmier League {Ed034's Note - He's worth the money because he's destined for the prem and will get at least that if we sell him

Agree1 Disagree0

Hall, wagstaff or Hammill i reckon as ince is gonna be big money to sign we shall see very soon just wait for big Al's tweet.Enjoyed the game today bit dissapointed with the attandance thought we might have got over 25,000.U reddddsssssssss

Agree1 Disagree0

Hammill and elokobi left out by wolves so could be joining. makes sense as forest need rw and lb/cb

Agree0 Disagree0

Reference the attendance, don't forget they only bought about 1000. V poor showing from them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fawaz said we are signing a right winger, no mention of a name or how many players. He said we are signing a right winger, because the manager wants one.
From looking at the squad, after the right winger (which I believe will be coppinger) expect us to try and balance the squad, one in one out. {Ed034's Note - I thought he said a rw and that we are talking to two players

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed, I must of missed that, the car was a bit rowdy with my excited kids who I took for the time yesterday, I think they will be coming to a lot more too - replacing my luck pants! {Ed034's Note - Brilliant. I love story like that mate. Can't wait to take my little one, but she's only two so it'll be a couple of years yet

Conor Sammon is on his way to Derby for 1.2mil so mcgoldrick will not be signing for them plus tony pulis has said he is going to sell a few strikers so he can buy Owen and their was a mention of Cameron Jerome earlier on this site.

Believable9 Unbelievable13

Buy owen....Free agent isn't he?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's probably taking about his wage demands

Agree0 Disagree0

Derby to pay 1.2 mil for a player! Ha ha now i know your making it up!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cameron Jerome is bloody awful!

Agree0 Disagree0

Derby have not got 1.2 mil alot of their fans are asking for their season ticket money back .a friend of mine is watching ilkeston town instead of derby

Agree0 Disagree0

Cameron Jerome no thanks we already have three so called strikers that are equally as bad as him.Could'nt score in a brothel, could'nt hit a cows arse with a banjo etc etc you get my drift

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha as if they can only afford free bees or conference players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do derby fans have to return their mobiles as part of any season ticket refunds ? Ha ha ha

sod wants to sign 2 players. one being a captains figutr {Ed034's Note - So who's your two you'd like him to bring in then??

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Wayne Routledge and Nicky Maynard {Ed034's Note - Good players but do you think he'll bring in a ringer and a Striker?? I'm expecting a left sides defended and a winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne Routledge never very poor attitude would ruin NFFC lets have pennant instead a least he plays football week in week out not once in a blue moon.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say Routledge has a bad attitude then suggest Pennant?

I don't think I've ever witnessed such a contradiction in my life HEHE

Agree1 Disagree0

No to pennant county fan and has a much worse attitude than routeledge

Agree0 Disagree0

Pennent is trouble with a capital T
never fulfilled his potential and is a Big Time Charlie with drink problem.
Banned from driving and cought driving whilst banned. Do we need a player like this NO

Agree0 Disagree0

Routledge has a poor attitude but u want pennant?!! Seriously!!

Agree0 Disagree0

For me ed, I would have another left sided defender. Elokobi would fit the bill perfect as he can cover left back and centre back. I think we need two wingers as well to provide cover for Reid. Ince would be my top choice. However, money wise perhaps routledge and Ryan hall. And......if u were allowing me to be greedy I would have another centre forward. Chris wood for me or Maynard. That would be some squad then

Agree1 Disagree0

Dont care how many midfielders we have would love joey barton on lone add that real fire we have lacked in midfield and as much as he can be a turnip he is quality when heads on {Ed034's Note -

Agree1 Disagree0

Do you not see how daft you sound saying no to Routledge as he has a bad attitude, then suggesting Jermaine Pennant?

Agree0 Disagree0

My point of saying Pennant was they are as bad as each other but pennant plays more.

Agree0 Disagree0

No of names suggested so far would be the captain over Collins
personally id suggest higginbotham and ince to join

Agree0 Disagree0

Add George Elokobi and Thomas Ince and get rid of some deadwood and we'd have a cracking squad I reckon. Elokobi not featuring for Wolves today, not sure if he's injured though

Agree0 Disagree0

In a perfect world I'd have us sign Ince and Hammill. We've got the defensive midfielders and attacking center mid's, all we are missing is a couple of out and out pacey wingers

Agree0 Disagree0

I would want 5 new players in before close of window - higginbotham, elikobi, rhodes, ince and hall. Then we are looking at a top 6 as it is depth as well as options. Wouldn't turn down a proven cm either!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pennant is not a county fan he's a Liverpool fan!get your facts right!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wilson from liverpool can play cb and lb , then Hall from southend

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't get the love of Elokobi myself. He's a donkey {Ed034's Note - He's a legend in the making

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed loves cult figures jason lee was one and look how bad he was i agree elokobi is a donkey as well! {Ed034's Note - I can't remember saying anything about Jason lee or even using the words 'cult figures'

once man united 25 man squad is released we will be signing BEBE on loan winger with pace and power just needs 1st team football to show how good he is.

Believable13 Unbelievable11

Beşiktaş loan

On 16 June 2011, Turkish side Beşiktaş signed Bébé on a season-long loan deal, with an option to making the move permanent for 2 million. However, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury whilst on international duty with the Portugal Under-21 side which would rule him out for six months. Bébé made his return from injury and made his debut for Beşiktaş in their Süper Lig match against İstanbul Belediyespor on 26 March 2012, he came off the bench and replaced Mustafa Pektemek in the 76th minute of the 2–2 draw. In April 2012, Bébé was banished from the Beşiktaş squad after breaking a team curfew and staying out until the early hours of the morning.

Oh and he's a striker according to wiki?

So we know he likes a drink,he's injury prone,he was signed for man u for 8 mill and now they can't get rid for 2 mill!
This does suggest he needs a change of scenery and could be good with a change of attitude or luck but do we need to be spending lots of money on someone like this?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you so aggressive, he had one injury while on lone doesn’t make you injury prone, ryan gigs has weak hamstrings, sleeps with his bros wife but you would say no to him in a forest shirt, also wiki is a trusted source for example it said this we had sign a Kuwaiti and a Syrian player this morning one wearing the 21 shirt and other 13 shirt.
I bet you’re the sort of person that wants Wayne Routledge to play for forest coz is a real role model NOT. BEBE would be perfect hard working, once homeless a proper rags to riches player.

Agree0 Disagree0

If bebe is a striker/winger he has a realy poore scoring recorde, he has scored 1 every 6 games so no thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no need to wait for squad announcement if we're getting him. We've already got loan players in. Shame it's a 'nothing' rumour. I'd have liked to see him here.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really sympathise with Bebe? I'm a RAGS TO RAGS MAN MYSELF!
Ive been slaving all my life.

Oh,how he must wish he'd hadn't been gifted the natural footballing ability to make thousands a day?
Born in Portugal,a citizen in a free open society not shackled with limited thinking and damaging attitudes to sex, drink, health, work, love and generally getting along with the other peoples of the world..Sounds just like home doesn't it?
The sun on his back and sea at his feet..Fruit trees overflowing with natures gifts and half naked women cavorting in the rolling surf as you hone your footballing skills alll day, free from the tyranny of the factory foreman or the downward looking high and mighty dole clerk just waiting to cast judgement.

How do you think people used to survive in these places without dole handouts and jobs? Did all the indiginous peoples of the world starve to death and live a life of hell, you should never ever judge the quality of other peoples lives by what you assume to be the acceptable standards?
The truly happy races of the world are the ones with the least material possesions!!

Poor old Bebe?

Anyway....

The above thread wasn't meant to be aggressive so why are you being so defensive?I don't care who we sign or who we should or shouldn't sign...I can't see Sod ringing me for my input?
I come on here to have a laugh and post a few apparent facts, that's all.

I am happy with the club having good management in place and good owners who back the manager...The rest will come in time so I back the team whatever happens and whoever we sign or don't?
It doesn't matter to me.

I don't judge so I couldn't care less what Wayne Routledge may or may not of done? So why is the thread now about me rather than football?
Why are we looking at what I might want and what my motives are? Perhaps you'd like to continue onto questioning my heritage because of my tongue in cheek pre amble?

Let's stick to football and footballing rumours please!!

FACTS>>>>

38 games in 3 years
"one injury while on loan"?
What was he doing the rest of the time?

5 Goals

Signed for 8 mill

Attemted to offload for 2 mill

Likes a drink and an all nighter
Perfect preperation for a footballer and reason he was sacked from besiktas!!
Does that make you think it was a one off?

What kind of wages do you think this guy might be on and do you think we can afford to take a gamble like this? {Ed034's Note - Erm......ok

Agree0 Disagree0

Now now children!! Both would be good signings. Watched bebe in a man utd pre season game on tv and he looked decent. He did play on the wing in that game

Agree0 Disagree0

McGugan has played striker for us?

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you be sacked while on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

To anyone who thinks bebe is decent, watch him play, until then you will never truly understand his talent of being so awful.

Bentley is still on the cards

Believable11 Unbelievable24

Yea and rolls royce

Agree0 Disagree0

His character does not fit in
look at the players signed
they all are TEAM pleayers

bentley is not in that mould

Agree0 Disagree1

I just signed Bentley on FM2012. 875k bargain! First game scored a 30 yard free kick then got injured for 6 months... Based on this I say don't sign him as I had to pay him 45k a week also. Definatley no. Although I did sign messi for 105million and he was good! I say messi over Bentley...

Get real guys c'mon {Ed034's Note - lol

Wouldn't Bentley just be another Greening?
