On Twitter, Paul Taylor - tomorrow may be another interesting news day for #nffc Can't say any more though. Not even a hint

Make of that what you will {Ed007's Note - Twatter is a load of sh1te?}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed I agree but this guy knows what he's on about. He's usually spot on {Ed001's Note - I will have to take your word for it, I have given up on that site, too much nonsense on there to be bothered with it.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree with Ed,
Lets be honest as far as truthful news is concerned t**tter is for err well Tw*ts!

Earnshaw to resign on loan tomorrow

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Yeepi! Our saviour is back!

Agree2 Disagree1

Why bother? He was past it last year and had very little football this. See Bamford scored 4 for the academy tonight they keep saying the future is our young players stick him in can't do any worse than what's out there at the moment.

Agree4 Disagree1

Bamford got 5 i think,very bright prospect

Agree4 Disagree0

Young Bamford scored five tonight. It's about time he was in the first team squad. As some bloke called Brian Clough once said, "If you're good enough, you're old enough" Grow some cojones Steve Collateral (Damage), give the lad a go.

Agree2 Disagree0

Derbyshire, miller, Mcgoldrick, tudgay, findley sell 2 or 3 of these keep Harewood and promote Bamford.
This will bring in some money and reduce the wage bill loads,

Sky report that Leicester want Wes Morgan.I know this will upset some fans but it may be time for Wes to move on but the deal has to be right for us as long as the price is right.

Believable10 Unbelievable6

German Red here. According to "transfermarkt.de" Morgans market value is 1,3m Euro. So I would tend to sell him (with a discount for the short time he is signed at Forest) for 1m Euro and reinvest the money in two young and hungry defenders. Nottingham Forest is no longer in the position to hold key players. They have to sell their good players (like FC Freiburg from the German Bundesliga did with Demba Cissé for 13m Euro) to Clubs that got more money and rebuild the squad with younger and cheaper players. As Frank Clark said "the youth is Forests future".

Agree6 Disagree3

He is forest through and through i would be gutted if he left, never mind for the bin dippers

Agree8 Disagree1

Needs must and times and things have to change right now ,as sad as it will be to see him and others leave.

Agree4 Disagree0

If clark said youth is the future why keep on releasing them for nothing. also we have B graded academy is this what we have to look forward to B grade players?
No ambition in my book weve not produced one decent player since Jenas and dawson.

Agree1 Disagree2

Wes has been a great team player over the years who gives his all for the club.
If he wants a fresh challenge & we can get good money then bring Lascelles in, time to speed up his education.

Agree4 Disagree0

B grade academy has just thumped Wigan academy 9 v 1 so if that all we got to look forward to bring it on! also don't think wes would leave forest he is forest through n through

Agree1 Disagree5

The B grade academy is bottom of the table

Agree3 Disagree0

Lascelles would of been in by now but is injured

Agree2 Disagree1

Lascelles made his comeback last night in the 9-1 thumping of Wigan hopefully he'll get a chance now.

Sean o driscoll in as first team coach as cotrill needs the help, he got donny playing good attacking football hopefully he can get us firing on all cylinders

New first team coach - Sean O'Driscoll. Starts tomorrow and signed till end of the season.

Believable11 Unbelievable3

Just proves there is cash available if the appointment is deemed necessary!!
I think this is a good move for many reasons:
1> Cotterill needs to be better supported rather than the two inept idiots Kelly/Jimmy Floyd (especially after seeing Kelly cosying up to his old club Leics on Tuesday, He spent more time closer to Pearson than Cotterill)
2> O'Driscoll's teams play great passing football, Donny have outplayed Forest on many occassions even when we were good under Billy (our bogey side)
3> If Cotterill goes O'Driscoll is an ideal replacement and again will have us playing slick passing footy
4> Two managers can work, Just look at Hughton/Calderwood at Brum again as they did at Newcastle
5> If we somehow get some cash from sales perhaps he can persuade Sharp/Stock to move to the Trent? (this last point more blind optimism and hope than anything)

Agree13 Disagree2

Don't want to be cynical...but wasn't SC's appointment made as a 'parting' gesture by ND along with MA, before FC took over? Might this appointment be a way of trying to shore-up another 'faus pas' by our leaders!! SC seems to have run out of ideas and lost the respect of the players... all of whom must now surely be looking for ways to get out the door with some dignity still intact!!

Agree3 Disagree1

Wow...... sharp

Following recent comment on the future of Nottingham Forest Football Club, Chief Executive Mark Arthur has released the following statement:
・As a football club we feel there is still a need to spell it out once and for all that Nigel Doughty has made it abundantly clear what level of financial support he will provide for Nottingham Forest in the future.
・We are forever grateful to Nigel for the backing he has pledged in order to honour the financial commitments that were undertaken during his time as Chairman.
・But Nigel has left us in no doubt that beyond that support we will be left to fund the club's future financial commitments from within the day-to-day resources available to us.
・We wish to confirm that Nigel has not been present at a game since his resignation as Chairman and does not have any contact with the club. While he remains a supporter, he is pursuing other interests in his life and wishes to allow the new management team, under Frank Clark, to run the club as they see fit.
・From a footballing point of view that means it will be the Board, working with the manager, to raise funds for transfers and loans by selling existing players from within the squad.
・We can reiterate Nigel Doughty's willingness to sell the club to people who are able to take the club forward from a financial perspective.
To date there has been no such interest.
・We hope that this finally dispels any suggestion that Nigel will fund any added investment in players.
All Board members are fully aware of their responsibilities.

Agree1 Disagree0

You would think that if Frank Clark really had full control then the first thing he would do is get rid of Marfer

Agree1 Disagree0

At the Leicester game, my mate told me that Frank Clark was sat in the stands with Doughty. Another mate said it was Marthur. This was on the coverage on ESPN. Anyone know who it was?

Agree0 Disagree0

It was definitely Arthur (in a Forest beanie) as he was a small hideous creature and less of a smug face than ND.

Agree0 Disagree0

MD hasnt been to a forest game since he stepped down FACT
