1st new signing to be annouced tomorrow its 1 we all like deal already done
(source adam pye)

Believable9 Unbelievable5

As we have been honest enough to admit a misjudgement and resign SoD. Can we go back to Huddersfield and resign Lynch? That would make it a great weekend ( along with pep of course!)

Agree6 Disagree8

Well Adam Pyre who is it then ?? {Ed034's Note -

Agree3 Disagree1

Another great Irish manager for Forest, the last being Johnny Carey, look at the sucess he brought us, good times ahead! UReds!

Agree8 Disagree3

In other words, Guedioura?

Agree8 Disagree1

Where does adam pye say this?

Agree2 Disagree2

The last Irish manager was joe kinnear

Agree6 Disagree3

Joe kinnear wasn't Irish. Joe kinnear was mad.

Agent 279

Agree10 Disagree1

SO'D is fantastic news for NFFC, the football is back !!

pinxton

Agree7 Disagree1

Ed, why is my reply to this post not being put on? I've posted it twice this morning since about 7.30am. adam pye and Pep at training ground. {Ed034's Note - Saying what?? I am not the only ed who does this page

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you been cloned Ed? {Ed034's Note - There's only one ed034 mate

Agree1 Disagree1

Please let it be Pep and Big George from Wolves..... {Ed034's Note -

Agree5 Disagree0

When did adam pye say this?

Agree1 Disagree0

Roman lakuku is looking to go out on loan for first team football ssn.
Maybe just maybe lol
You reds!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey ed is it possible if you can provide a source where Adam pye has said this about the signing. Thanks {Ed034's Note - I cant but hopefully the op can

Agree0 Disagree0

Adam pye ( I think ) pictured with guedoira at training ground with a 22 shirt & John pye on back.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you're referring to a photo of them both, it's an old photo from last season as John Pye sponsored his kit last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

That pic was definetly photoshopped

Agree0 Disagree0

Could be I suppose, no white collar visible on shirt but could just be how it's being held.

Agree0 Disagree0

He wrote it on last night in a comment under one of the posts on the F.E.C page about sod (it was 1 of the 1st comments on there)

Billy Sharp saying John Oster will be SOD's first signing.

let's hope it's first signing after Pep and George.

Great appointment!

Believable16 Unbelievable13

Cohen and pep in midfield irresistable u reds {red west}

Agree20 Disagree3

Peps camping in city ground car park. He can't wait! {Ed034's Note - Lol

Agree14 Disagree2

Is there going to be a DOF or do we have to wait another week to find that out?
IERM

Agree1 Disagree5

John Oster?
Are you having a laff?
The guys done, and was released by Donny.
Let's try and aim our sights a little higher.
IERM

Agree15 Disagree3

If he is I think most of the Red Army would camp with him and personally make sure he gets that contract!

RG09

Agree7 Disagree1

Ace appointment but surely one hell of a kick in the nuts for cotterill. Still feel bad for him!!!

Agree10 Disagree6

Why do people keep calling adelene pep??he has a different last name than the actual pep...persons.lol

Agree9 Disagree2

John oster? why? forest need less dead wood, not more! look at some of the out of contract players still available & then sign up elokobi & adlene gued' from wolves a.s.a.p.

Agree9 Disagree0

How about signing billy sharp

Agree8 Disagree3

Doesn't this just seem like a fantastic fit?I hope SOD is here for many many years and brings us great success! too long we've been chopping and changing and now we have a proper football man for the long term! 4 managers in a year is just silly, hopefully this will be a long term arrangement?

Agree8 Disagree1

Billy Sharp's at Southampton isn't he?

Agree5 Disagree0

Adlene qued Actual nickname is 'pep' and most fans know and use this name now :)

Agree0 Disagree1

SOD will go for the players that were on loan last year when he was there. He will go for Elokobi, Guedioura and Higginbottom. These will be the clubs first signings and one of them will be revealed in the next few days.

Agree3 Disagree1

I cant see billy sharp playing much next season is premier league tbh. he'd be great for forest and under SoD again.

Agree2 Disagree1

He only went there last season for 4 million so won't be leaving. Sam Baldock will leave West Ham and is classy, would be a good investment alongside Dex.

Agree2 Disagree1

'Why do people keep calling adelene pep?he has a different last name than the actual pep...persons.lol'

i've always assumed it was because of the similarity in spelling of guediora and guardiola.

Sean O'Driscoll.

Fantastic coach and I'm sure all of us are behind him already!
Massive credit to the al-hasawis in avoiding the big name flops and going for the underdog with massive experience at this level. Now for the squad building to commence and I hope we can quickly confirm the signings of Pep and George. Great time to be a red!
COYR

Believable17 Unbelievable11

Great appointment welcome back Sean. Right behind you all the way. Just get us playing like you know how. Really pleased the new owners have taken thier time to appoint the right person.Exciting times ahead. FTiD!!

Agree14 Disagree7

Good times ahead fellow fans. YOU REDS!!!

Agree15 Disagree5

How can you disagree, we need to get behind our manager not get on his back!! {Ed034's Note - I round ignore the disagree part. There will be a lot of sheep and the other ones on here being nosey

Agree15 Disagree6

Brilliant news, lets get behind this great appointment.

Agree14 Disagree5

EIEIEIO up the football league we go when we get promotion this is what we'll sing we are FOREST we are FOREST O'Driscoll is our king!!

Agree11 Disagree6

I think the new owners have played both sides of the coin very cleverly, going for big obvious names and seeing what they had to say but also talking to contacts and within the club and looking for passion rather then who wanted the biggest transfer bdget and most control. Good luck SD, I think you will be grand for Forest. COYR!

Agree12 Disagree5

To the Al-Hawasi family...thank you... great decision. To Sean...welcome home!!

Agree13 Disagree4

White lights are on at the City Ground in celebration. Relieved to see our new pope is elected. Now lets hope for some divine leadership!

Agree8 Disagree4

Presumably, if the current players have influenced the decision, they're planning on sticking around?

Agree7 Disagree2

I haven't noticed this much positivity in an appointment of a manager for a long time now, and although I did want Billy, I am really satisfied with this. Let's get behind the man, onwards and upwards! YOU REDS! {Ed034's Note - Agreed

Agree12 Disagree4

Brilliant appointment and a huge relief ... SEan plays the forest way...I think Brian Clough will be looking down very apporvingly...happy end to a very tense day...now for pep and george!

Agree10 Disagree3

Old BIG ED! Would be proud that footballing style has won the day ahead of some, how would he have phrase it? 'some big overpaid yes men!'
Happy days are on there way back to the Trent.
One season ticket renewed after the announcement, I hope I am one of thousand that are joining the revolution. COYR

Agree9 Disagree1

Great news! I think that the fact the players suggested his name to the owners shows that the Al-hawasi's respect what the players have to say and are not swayed by turnips like Sven, which is a big relief. Cotterill must be fuming, its a bit like your missus giving you the boot and then your best mate getting it on with her.

Agree7 Disagree2

Heard on the grapevine that Ian Evatt could be on his way to forest. I know one of his mates. He said that he has just had twins and is keen to move further south to be closer to family. Would be a great signing.

SOD confirmed as new Manager on official NFFC website, backed up by official Crawley website which confirms he's left them for us! I'm well happy with that. He was the reason for the upturn last season, and if the new owners back him with a reasonable amount of cash I think he'll put together a very strong side that will play good football. Welcome back Sean, and I hope that everybody gets fully behind you.

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Buzzing been waiting for news for so long and so glad its sean. all i can see are good times ahead

Agree12 Disagree4

In particular like the way he said he couldn't resist as soon as he knew of interest and he has an obsession with the fans. Onwards and upwards, bring on the sheep.

Really brilliant news. Much better than the all-so-rans, fading violets and never was's that might have got the job. Sean will be great for supporters and the owenres. Brilliant when Charlie went I wanted SOD Colin went I want SOD Billy went I wanted SOD Then Cotterill came i still wanted SOD.
I know several of our players and I do not just made up or owt!
and they wanted SOD to stay when he went they were gutted now he is back Iconic is a matter of opinion Stuart Pearce came as a makeweight for Ian Butterworth ! he I reckon became an Icon. Brilliant Appointment I can now forget all the rubbish and now look forward to letting our new owners bring us back to where they want us to be! COYR

Crawley continue to deny reports that SOD has been interviewed, the last denial was on on Teamtalk.com at 1700 hours

Believable2 Unbelievable4

If I was Crawley Chairman I would also deny even if Manager was in talks as it'll be silly to undermine the manager if talks failed. Just heard on talk sport it will be SOD and will be announced officially at press conference tomorrow

Glenn Hoddle set to be appointed as first team coach tomorrow morning.

Still some problems regarding who becomes DoF and what the DoF roles will be

Sounds like Peter Reid is a contender for this role

Believable0 Unbelievable14

Source!?? {Ed034's Note - To be fair you should really give a source when posting something which is going against what everyone is saying

Agree4 Disagree1

Why would we hold 2 rounds of talks with O'Driscoll in 2 days and on the 3rd day when we're supposed to make an announcement it's going to be Hoddle?

Think about it please before you post

Agree3 Disagree0

Ed can you not post posts that have no source? {Ed034's Note - Not really. I try not to put stupid ones on, but it would be a bit boring if all the posts were just the same. I'll be honest with you, I wouldn't be surprised id it ends up being true

EMT just said that one of the owners has spoken to them and has been quoted as saying; 'we are working hard to get a new manager in place and this may be announced tonight; if not tomorrow'.

any ideas who Ed?
I personally would prefer Hoddle with a good coach (say wilkins) {Ed034's Note - I can only go on the info out there in the media, but sod looks a good shout. It made my day when sven got ruled out

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Hoddle and Wilkins for me. You would hope ray would be able to use some of the Chelsea contacts. He seemed well liked by the players there

Agree3 Disagree3

So glad to see that when Sven threw his hat in the ring We threw it straight back to him {Ed034's Note - i like the way he tries to save face by saying he's not interested. Pity it was 20mins after you'd already said you were lol idiot

Throw his hat into the trent, then tord grip can go and fetch it.

Agree12 Disagree2

If the new owners have indeed done their homework, they will know that Sven will simply waste their money, get sacked and move on to the next club. Nice work if you can get it. We need passion and loyalty !

Agree7 Disagree1

Why do we keep putting up with Sven in English football. He is not welcome and should be made aware of the fact very quickly. he has done absolutely nothing and that is what we want from him. Nothing.

FOREST WILL HAVE A PRESS RELEASE TODAY:

It may not be the news we are looking for as although negotiations with 2 parties are reaching a conclusion.

The sticking points are

1) director of of football and how the role effects the academy and the first team.

2) the description of the managers role.

The 2 managers who are being interviewed want to bring in their own staff, and this is what is conflicting with the managers role and has a knock on effect with the DoF role.

We also have people in place for DoF/academy.
So its a case of getting a good fit.

I have this information smuggled out to me by rebel spies...namely a good friend who works in the club.

Believable9 Unbelievable10

WOW!! A sensible post!! I
'm having a mogadon before this gets all too exciting!

How easy was that...I hope it's correct?

Agree4 Disagree3

Unless your good friend is one of the Al Hawasis which I doubt you know the same as the rest of us. Nothing at all.

Agree2 Disagree2

My friend is right. I have asked him if there are any other names we need to be aware of that havent hit the press he says this.

Hoddle - has been met and was liked, he has a purists vision.

SOD - advisors have met, but he hasnt been to Nottingham, well not by 13:00 today anyway.

Sven - doesn't know

Keane - doesn't know

Mccarthy - didnt share the same vision, wanted autonomy

Redknapp - hasn't been in Nottingham but have spoken to him.

Pearce - still has contacts in the club, he is interested. Unsure if he has been interviewed in any capacity.

Apparently it's quite difficult to work at NFFC, a mixture of excitement but also a bit of the unknown. Frank Clark has been helping all staff making sure everyone is ok to concentrate on their job.

Agree2 Disagree5

What a load of nonsense.
Why do you mention that some of these people have not been to Nottingham?
The interviews have all take place in London.

Nice to know people who have priviledged info read this site Ed

Agree4 Disagree2

Not according to my friend in West Sussex.

Crawley Town say not interested!

Agree5 Disagree1

I just read Crawley say hes going no where! {Ed034's Note - I think if they want him, we'll get him. Wouldnt be fair on them standing in his way, just as long as we pay them compo

Agree6 Disagree1

Money talks....esp for small clubs like Crawley. No way in hell they will turn down a reasonable offer of compensation.

Agree8 Disagree2

Can't see this happening.... If you listen to what EMT are saying, we are not paying compo for the new manager, which rules out O'Driscoll. Another day, more rumours. I think the new owners are goin about this the right way. Don't think none of us know anything about them do we? How much they are worth, how much they got the club for, money too spend. They seem too keep things hush hush, which I think is good. They were on the pitch 2-3 weeks ago having a photo taken. Who knew that! My personal feeling is what I said yesterday, wait and see, and I think we might just see a suprise!

Agree5 Disagree2

Small club like crawley , there chairman is very very rich , why don't forest just pick up the phone and BEG Pearce to come home ,

Agree6 Disagree5

Their Chairman may be rich but he is bound by FFP rules. Compo could offset any transfer expenditure.

Steve Coppell now tweeted as been interviewed... {Ed034's Note - From John Percy who is very reliable

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Defo dont want copple another yesterdays man and also he's walked awy when going gets tough...again he's not for us. SO'D or BD

Agree5 Disagree6

Hope he ran out of the interview as soon as he was asked a difficult question....the guy does a runner when it gets tough...steer well clear...mediocre manager produces mediocre and boring teams full of second/third rate talent NO THANKS

Agree6 Disagree2

Him and wilkins would be good..

Agree1 Disagree2

Interviewed for DoF not manager.

How do you know were you on the interview panel? if so i hope you told him where to get off.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in ray wilkins as a potential no. 2 or joining the club in any capacity? I'd actually be more excited about that happening than the current crop of names being touted for manager, as with his vast experience and man management skills, he would galvanise any squad and steer whichever manager comes in. Great with the youth too.

Believable13 Unbelievable1

With GH and his academy experience, it would be a great long term pairing.

Agree5 Disagree3

Whats happening Ed?
Any news?Even the rumours have started to go quiet. There is bound to be some tweeting or whispers going on?
IERM {Ed034's Note - Just that copp ell has now been interviewed and that s.o.d has now gone ahead of hoddle. I'm still expecting hoddle though, but would be happy with either

Agree4 Disagree2

I agree with you Ed.Hoddle or SOD.
Coppell in my opinion would be a major step backwards.
IERM

Agree3 Disagree1

Didn't Coppell say he retired from football management when he left Bristol City?

I'm sure Crawley released a statement yesterday saying SOD's going nowhere..?

But wouldnt be happy with coppell surely

Seems more and more like the owners acted in haste.....if they had allowed SC a fair crack until Christmas ( after all they only want stability this season) then we would be getting players in and maybe have kept Lynch. By doing this they would have allowed time for Pearce to have become free from Olympic duties and perhaps reaped benefits of early season panick sackings. Looks more and more like a mistake but if Hoddle does come with a decent number 2 like Charlie or Wilkins then they might get away with it yet.

Believable15 Unbelievable8

What planet you been on if you think anything regarding the new owners resembles haste?

Agree7 Disagree9

AGree entirely with you I think sacking SC was bonkers (and I dont like Cotterball)...where I satrt to differ is when you get to Hoddles name...he is a man from the past.

BD or SO'D for me

Agree13 Disagree7

Why would SP leave the under 21 england job when he's doing so well to come and run forest. You people just ain't got a clue! The best option we have is BD! {Ed034's Note - Maybe because he has been stabbed in the back with the appointment of Gary Neville.

Agree6 Disagree11

So glad these are rumours.... None of us know anything. It's a good thing.

Agree8 Disagree10

I don't know why people are moaning that Hoddle is such a bad thing, as long as he doesn't bring his faith healers and keeps his religious beliefs inside his head then I see no problem. He did well with England till he put his foot in his mouth, did well with Swindon and plays nice attractive AND attacking style of football, surely we all want to see this right? He is hardly past it, he will work well with the academy and help bring talent through, the only question mark really is weather he can handle the media spotlight again and the pressure of management.

Agree10 Disagree3

Hoddle did well with swindon as a player manager, any team in the 2nd tier with a player of his class stood a great chance of being promoted, more of an influential player than manager in my opinion

Agree3 Disagree8

There are a lot of 'ifs' there to get over and unfortunately, he wasn't able to do this when he managed in England. His personal beliefs impacted hugely on his professional life and, as far as I know, he still holds these beliefs (which is fine - he is entitled to them) but if they interfere again with his management of players you will have the same problem. Players who don't share his beliefs become disenchanted with the way he brings his beliefs into the dressing room. It happened last time! He has some good assets, but they get cancelled out with his inability to handle criticism and pressure. Might sound harsh but it could be a big risk! {Ed034's Note - I would have thought he'd learned from his mistake.

Agree0 Disagree6

Hoddle hasn't been out of the game for 6 years hes been in spain running youth setup over there so might get some young spanish players of the future you never no

Agree4 Disagree3

We have a bigger problem with phoney outrage and bandwaggon jumping in this country than we do with one mans insignificant personal beliefs?
Shouldn't of said what he said but then again that's nothing new in this country either?

Agree3 Disagree2

You are right he shouldn't have said what he said, but if that was all it was it could have been got over. Unfortunately, as said, it impacted on his ability to manage. If he can keep his beliefs to himself it might be okay, but I would imagine he couldn't do that as,as far as we know, nothing has changed and he may finish up unable to handle criticism and pressure. I hope I am wrong, but it's not just a matter of learning by your mistakes - his religion is how he conducts his life - no problem with that so long as it doesn't impact on his job.

Agree3 Disagree1

John Terry is accepted back in football after allegations of racism, Bramble after allegations of attempted rape....other ex con footballers like Lee Hughes welcomed back with open arms. Why not Hoddle.....you know nothing of his beliefs now, his current frame of mind or his goals. Why not stop sitting in judgement and give a man a chance? {Ed034's Note - Fair point

Agree3 Disagree1

I did not judge his religious beliefs - only that they impacted on his professionalism as a football manager! John Terry was found not guilty, by the way. Do you condone Bramble and Hughes being welcomed back? perhaps they should not have been. Hoddle's religious beliefs (if they have not changed) are a way of life and, as already posted, he is entitled to have any beliefs he likes - but do you want someone whose beliefs/life issues etc. have a negative impact on your club? Let's hope he has put his past behind him and can keep his beliefs in check, if indeed he gets the job - I am still hoping for BD, SOD and co. Hoddle has not managed an English competitive football team for quite a while and the Al Hasawi's stated they wanted someone with championship experience (I presume they mean recent). So just to reiterate - I was not sitting in judgement on his religious beliefs - only how they might impact on his ability to manage! It isn't anything to do with religion in case you are wondering - it could have been any major crisis/issue in his life - like, for example, other managers who have had to give up management because of personal life issues. I also said I didn't know if he had the same beliefs now (which would include his frame of mind), so not sure what your gripe is?

Erikson shortening odds on ...jeez if he comes we are doomed. BD or SO'D the only ones Id be happy with

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Thought Erikson had a job?

Agree4 Disagree4

Sacking Cotterill was a terrible decision regardless of what happens next. I just wonder if Cotterill and McCarthy didn't hit it off with the new owners because of the fact that they seem pretty keen to be involved in footballing matters (evidenced by the half-a-dozen players that they came across with). Such a move was ill-judged and bound to undermine the then existing manager and any prospective ones too.
I'll live with Hoddle but if Eriksson, Ince or a relative of the owners turns out to be the next manager I shall be negotiating pretty hard for a season ticket refund!

Anyone heard any rumours/interest from other clubs regarding the players currently on the books?

i.e. half a dozen useless strikers. Surely 3 or 4 of them need to be shipped out? {Ed020's Note - nothing so far with the deadwood we want gone}

I mean, what person would pay good money for McGoldrick?

R2D2 did, and people still think he is one of the best managers that we have ever had!

Heard from good source bd to be announced manager today , we are in market to buy Rhodes from huddersfield 5 million

Believable8 Unbelievable15

That would be very good news!!

Agree10 Disagree6

Rhodes is a fantastic young talent. But so was Bamford and Gunter.

We've sold two great prospects for 3.8m to potential buy one for 5m... Not great business.

I hope we do better with Lacelles

Agree13 Disagree4

You spoilt a good rumour by putting billy davies in it.

Much like it ND spoilt this club by putting Billy Davies in it.

He won't be coming back.

Agree9 Disagree14

Rhodes would be a great signing but with the two Syrian trialists and the forward players we currently have, do we really need him, at the moment anyway?

After watching some of the Arabic strikers on YouTube, a defence probably isn't a priority! I'm not panicing, yet!

Agree2 Disagree5

Will be one of the best signings for a couple of years for definite if true

Agree8 Disagree1

My fingers are crossed. premier league here we come!

Agree4 Disagree4

"Much like it ND spoilt this club by putting Billy Davies in it" - what planet are you on?! Under Billy Davies we played some of the best football seen at the CG in recent years, and I find it a tad disrespectful to the memory of ND that you make such a ridiculous comment. {Ed034's Note - It wasn't myself who added this and if i had to decide whether it went in or not, it certainly would have been deleted. Pathetic comment

Agree11 Disagree4

Ed - Are you talking about the original post or the second one? Both are a bit distasteful, have you lost the power to edit what gets displayed? {Ed034's Note - The ND comment

Agree2 Disagree1

I agree. And I cannot understand those who say having BD back would be a step backwards. Simple fact: BD took us forward and put the smiles back on the faces of Forest fans. He gave us hope after years of pain. When he was sacked we went backwards as our final league position showed. We fell apart. Couldn't defend, couldn't score, could not pay basic football even! Everything BD gave us went in an instant. While he may not have taken us up for reasons we all know he took us forward and I believe he would do so again but this time better supported.

Agree9 Disagree3

Pathetic comment about ND but the god like reverence some hold BD in is questionable. He conducted business badly and ran down an impressive academy sowing the seeds of unrest in the lkes of Bamford etc who were discouraged not encouraged.

Agree6 Disagree6

He's just bought a brand new house in Huddersfield so highly doubt it.

I heard GH was stalling on personal terms but I still expect the deal to go through and be announced tomorrow, weekend at the latest. But I also heard Harry Redknapp had shown interest and was holding a interview in London, this person has been right a few times so I wasn't getting to happy or not agreeing with it. Would be amazing if he came, I think the manager thing will work out fine just need some players quickly! We are all rushing just because we want to see who takes the seat. But players are the main priority but to get them we need a manager lol. I just hope the new owners don't mess us up! Still early days, whoever comes in will get my full backing, you reds! Ryan.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

I agree with Ryan. I too have heard the same thing. Harry met with them yeaterday. I can't quite believe it myself, and won't until I hear it confirmed, but my friend is usually correct (He has a source in our youth academy). I also heard that MM didn't rule himself out, but we didn't give him a second interview. If Harry wants it, then I expect it will be announced this morning as surely no one will beat his credentials. Like I said, I don't quite believe it ether, but just passing the rumour on.

Agree4 Disagree4

I know a first team player and until last week they were all sure it was Hoddle so I dont really think any of the staff apart from those at the top will be fulled clued up on this. Although I could be wrong. But hope your right.

dont want to sound like a party pooper but i have it good information that the reason mm turned the job down is he would have no controll over transfers and knot only this was being pushed to play kuwaity players now what i have been told is mm was so up for the forest job he had a point to prove and he was so desprite for the forest job and soon as he heard this turned the job down . iam hearing now gh is going to do the same and do you realy think BD will take the job now isnt it funny how DF was a favourite and he has also knot intrested sorry to be the party pooper guys but lets knot get to carried away with this but how hard can it be to get a top manager for our beloved club with so mutch history things our starting to look fishy

Believable7 Unbelievable9

I totally agree, we can only speculate, but on face value the Forest job is a job that a lot of managers would give their right arm for, great fan base, great academy, fantastic history and the chance to bring the football club back to where it should be amongst the elite. For MM to turn the job down is most definitely a massive shock, which strongly suggests that he was told that he would not have full control over signings and possibly pushed to play Kuwaity players. Why bring 7 or so players from Kuwait on trial if you have no intention of getting them into the team? If they are all half as good as Ronaldo then lets all have a party and stick queen on the jukebox! Somehow I doubt they will be though. I can't help but having this sick feeling that there are hidden agendas.

Agree7 Disagree4

Always two sides to every story, The hidden agendas are some people trying to derail the Kuwaitis already with negative rumours.
I have it from a decent contact close to the process that MM was advised he wasn't first choice hence his decline for formal interview.
Today will answer all :)

Agree5 Disagree2

Completely agree, this is what I have posted from the start

MM - Wanted the job
Forest - Wanted MM

But the new owners will not allow the manager control over transfers

Agree2 Disagree5

Maybe he didn't like the fact that they wanted to talk to other people before giving him the job?

Agree7 Disagree1

All this negativity over prospective managers not having full control over transfers. Have you all forgotten we have had a transfer acquisition panel for years where the manager has only a slight input as to who they want & then it's left to the AP.

Agree5 Disagree2

OP,Why should I believe any of this stuff when come on here and write like a six year old? I wouldn't mind if you were factually correct or had listened to any of the interviews given by the Al Hasawi's but you clearly haven't listened to a word that has been said!

I don't think MM would ever be desperate to take the Forest job because I've never heard him say a good word about us in all the games I've seen him commentate on us?

No control over transfers?lol

Go back to Derby!

Agree9 Disagree1

I heard that MM didnt even interview for the job so he would not know formally about his control over transfers etc!

Army

Agree3 Disagree0

The minute MM mentioned Notts Forest the owners didn't want to know. LOL

Agree5 Disagree0

MM is no loss he was a cheating dirty player, and a mediocre manager, and as boring as...the most boring thing on earth...he doesnt have anything like the level of passion required for forest...nor though for that matter does the man called hoddle....for me it was barking to sack cotterball at this time (and i never liked his brand of footie either) but only BD or SO'D stand out for me as managers who could get forest playing the forest way who could also bring sucess, togetherness and passion....I am not interested in any of the others

Agree1 Disagree0

You've just committed a cardinal sin - Notts Forest! Nottingham, Nottingham, Nottingham! Where are you from?
