The alan hutton rumours are rubbish, we have however made a bid for hull citys right back liam rosenior

Believable13 Unbelievable14

Much more realistic and looked half decent against us last year. Rubbish hair cut though!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bid? Aint he a free agent?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rosenior right back ryan hall right wing now that would be very tastey

Agree0 Disagree0

Massive fan of this guy since his Fulham days! Would welcome someone of his experience his open arms... Seems to be a lot more rumours regarding potential right backs than centre backs, so I'm guessing S'OD is considering Halford and Collins are CB partnership?

Nottingham Forest will set meeting with Nicky Maynard , Ryan Hall and two other players

Believable19 Unbelievable16

I've heard this rumor on some other forums could be some legs in it

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont see maynard coming to forest

Agree0 Disagree0

I have heard this too from various sources... Maynard is a target high on our list and we are making bids for 3 others ... Hall and not sure who else!

Agree0 Disagree0

Maynard is sooooo overrated

Agree0 Disagree1

Maynard is quality {Ed020's Note - quality championship striker!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

I really cannot see us getting Maynard, would love to see him partnering Dex up front, Hall would be a great signing!

Come on Forest show us your intent!

Agree0 Disagree0

How is he over rated? His record speaks for its self

It seems that we are interested in buying two of the kuwaiti players - Bader Al-Mutawa and Hussain Fadel. Omar Al-Hasawi has enquired about how much they would cost.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Are they not freebies? {Ed034's Note - Nonthey are contracted to other clubs, so we would have to pay for them

Agree0 Disagree0

I am the OP Fahad AL Ibrahim uploaded a photo to prove that forest have been in contact

Agree0 Disagree0

Will they get work permits?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Aug 2012 20:55:03
word has it them from down the road are sniffin round the boy freeman ,would be dissapointed is already good enough . if o d wants him needs to publicly back him tell him he s big part of his plans etc {Ed034's Note - Why publicly?? Do you really think he hasn't spoken to him and told him if he's in his plans or not??

Believable5 Unbelievable12

Easy 1m price tag,no you can't loan him and bye bye county

Agree0 Disagree0

The boy is the best fullback at the club and a mad forest fan give him ago sod

Agree0 Disagree0

Cus it worked well enough from martin allen, keith curle, welsh fa,football league.nice little confidence booster for the local lad would a been nice. the fact he has nt in my opinion and the number 2 shirt still unoccupied tells its own story cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately its them at end of a52 not opposite cattle market

Agree0 Disagree0

In my opinion we need him to stay, one for the future!

Agree0 Disagree0

Freeman has already said on his twitter that he'll find out what's happening in regards to his future this week, be patient

Dedryck Boyata you heard it here first!

Believable13 Unbelievable15

I said this from Day one Al-Hasawi family are close friends with Man City's owners would not suprise me if we got some of there players on loan after mancini names his 25 man squad
(JD)

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt it, he looked decent for Bolton last season. Would be a good player to have in the squad though.

Agree0 Disagree0

This was said on here a few weeks ago!

Talk down in southend are that ryan hall is having a medical at forest, dont believe it myself but thought id pass it on {Ed034's Note - Thanks

Believable16 Unbelievable17

Last I heard we had made an offer but Southend rejected the offer

Agree0 Disagree1

Hope so good player with potential

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think he would have played last night if that were the case

Agree0 Disagree0

Any concrete info but vital southend do link us with him
good signingi would think

Agree0 Disagree0

Would absolutely love this to be true... That's most likely why it's not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes please just what we need pacey and tricky and can crooss a ball

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope its true , we need some pace on the wings

Agree0 Disagree0

I think whats just as important as pace we need a player who can deliver a good cross and this guy fits the bill, got the most assists in the football league last year with 25 an also scored 15, quality {Ed034's Note - I've known about him for a couple of years and he has that thing where he can do the unexpected and isn't frightened to have a go at fullbacks. Reminds me of mccleary a lot

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like Ryan Hall and McCleary have more than one thing in common... They both came from Bromly!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nottingham Forest plan to cough up at least 4.5m on South Korean's pacey winger Lee Chung Yong to persuade and lure him away from the Reebok Stadium.

Believable8 Unbelievable24

More chance of me meeting the popes wife mate....

Agree0 Disagree0

O yes please, a very exciting footballermore tricks than paul daniels (fredred)

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see us paying that for anyone

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I don't think the nw owners are willing to spend that much on one player...although he would be a great signing and signal our intent for promotion {Ed034's Note - But on what basis?? Unless you know the owners, you don't have anything to base this on. Just like people who are saying we will send millions on prem quality don't.

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need to spend millions but we have no quality still think we are going to struggle

After rejecting contract talks with notts county, Alan judge is favoured for a move over the Trent to Nottingham forest.

Believable16 Unbelievable25

Would be great!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think so, not a clinical goal scorer! {Ed034's Note - He's a midfielder

Agree0 Disagree0

I called this 1 yesterday. Would be a good long term replacement for Reid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not

Agree0 Disagree0

Good player and would love to see him here....

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd love this to happen. If nothing else but to wind my notts mates up. Would be even better that he's on our bench all season just to wind em up some more :0)

Agree0 Disagree0

Very highly rated at notts still young too

Agree0 Disagree0

Nottingham Forest are hoping to sign Joel Lindpere on loan from New York Red Bulls.

Rob1

Believable17 Unbelievable32

31 so maybe a bit old for us but looks to be a good player

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely hope not. Not good or pacey enough. No creativity or flair either. Should know, seen him play for my home team Tromso IL over several seasons.

Agree1 Disagree0

God i for one hope not how this guy gets away being called a pro footballer i have no idea he's the defensive equivalent of a mcgoldrick but without the speed acceleration first touch or the ability to pass a ball 10 foot utter rubbish - just to let you all know

Agree1 Disagree0

Have to disagree. Reads the game much better than most and works hard. Will be a great addition. Might be able to play the McKenna role. I've heard there might be something in this. Wolf

Not 100% sure on this by any means but heard that SOD is looking at bringing Alex John-Baptiste in from Blackpool . Apparently wages are small and being ex Mansfield man he would Be keen on a move back to Nottinghamshire ...in my eyes would be a well proven talented signing!

Believable13 Unbelievable29

First interesting new one in a while, like it, the kind of player we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

This was suggested while Billy was in charge, your right in a sense that he and his family are big Forest fans, could be a good addition if correct

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance. He doesn't like forest ever since our fans got carried away after the 1st leg of the playoffs and started booking hotels {Ed034's Note - if i bid was accepted and we agreed terms, he would come

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be an amazing signing but i think prem teams are interested so we would be lucky to get him

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, saw him on a night put in Mansfield just after the season had finished, told him he should come and play for us, he just laughed and said 'yeah, where did they finish this season?'

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see it mainly because he seems happy at Blackpool and they don't need to sell,as to him liking or not liking forest he is is a professional and if the offers right he'll sign. {Ed034's Note - the onlt thing in our favour is they have a very low wages limit. He isn't getting any younger any may want to try and make as much as he can before retiring from playing.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's ridiculous to say that he wouldn't play for us because of things that have happened ion the past and he didn't like us etc. Could you ever see Tyson playing for Derby after the flag incident?

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Alex personally and he would love to play for Forest.

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd like to see him in the red of forest. could do a lot worse than him, ( chambo )

ketnee T3

Agree0 Disagree0

I know his father, and there's nothing in this rumour, his dad is a big forest fan though and could persuade him!you never know in football

Agree0 Disagree0

His cousin is a teacher at my school and said before we broke up he hoping to move back to east mids so it may be true

Forest have had a bid of £2.5 million rejected from cardiff for peter whittingham

Believable18 Unbelievable38

That old chesnut hes been joining us for yrs

wim

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we just after everyone ho is aged 27,

Agree0 Disagree0

After they turned down Fulham for the same amount? Do you generate these rumours via a computer algorithm, or just copy and paste from old news?

Agree1 Disagree0

What? Another transfer window being linked with Whittingham? Don't make me laugh next thing someone will tell me were after Pratley?

Agree0 Disagree0

I wondered how long it would take for this rumour to resurface! Have we bid for Pratley yet?

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh god no! Here we go again!

Agree0 Disagree0

For years I thought his name was peter whittingham is in the car park. I also thought there was a footballer called Darren pratley is at the training ground.

Agent 279

Agree0 Disagree0

My time machine works! It's 2010 again!

Agree0 Disagree0

Peter whitingham recently signed a new contract at cardiff . whos writing this?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we have enough players who fill this role already.

Forest are in talks with Alex Nimely, very talented young striker from Manchester city, who spent the second half of last season on loan at coventry.

YOU REDS.

Believable26 Unbelievable24

That guy is quality but i dont think we need him, we need wingers

Agree1 Disagree0

I signed him on fifa he's quality :P

Agree0 Disagree0

U always need quality no matter in what position

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say we dont need him? If we aspire to the premiership this is the kind of player we should be signing quick good tpuch and scores goals get the kad sighned I say!

Agree1 Disagree0

He can play wide

Agree0 Disagree0

People have got to start to reliase that the Kuwaiti and Abu Dhabi families are not the best of friends. The Fawasi family are bg friends of the Maktoum Family which is a Dubai Based family and the Maktoums and Nahyan (Sheikh Mansoor family) hateeach other. So there will be no favours or players loaned from Man City. Best it cleared up now as thes erumours are taking two plus two to make six at present

Agree0 Disagree0

Shutup man, it's football, not a bloody geography lesson

Agree1 Disagree0

Was very good when he played against us for Coventry last season I'd be very happy if he joined

Agree1 Disagree0

The comment "shut up man" is in itself totally inaccurate. The original comment has nothing to do with geography, its to do with understanding the socia economic climate of the middle east. The analogy would be a forest supporter explaining to a Kuwaiti why we hate Derby County so much. These issues exist and they affect business and football decisions such as potential transfers.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agreed. it's football at the end of the day

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought the two families were joined by marriage?

Agree0 Disagree0

If true then what a player he looks rather good and that was in a poor coventry side he'll do if we aint gonna get maynard cox le fondre etc etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Expect 4 signings this week:
Hall or Lawrence
Bader al-Mutawa
Steven Dobbie
Kelvin wilson

Believable15 Unbelievable32

Id be very happy with Stephen Dobbie and Bader al-Mutawa, Kevin Wilson, hall and Lawrence im not fussed about.

Agree1 Disagree0

Mutawa injured but i would like dobbie and hall also on research gillet looks a good prospect

Agree1 Disagree0

Hall from the sounds of it i would take, not seen him play.
Bader al-Mutawa not particularly fussed, sounds like Al Soma had a better game last night.
Steven Dobbie would take any day but cannot see it really happening.
Kelvin Wilson would welcome back with open arms, as i think his reaction when he left was in fustration with Billy not letting him go early. He is a Nottingham lad through and through and would give his all to help us get promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kelvin Wilson is in the Celtic squad to play in Helsinki tonight, so I doubt he will be coming.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hall has gone elsewhere... Why do people keep bringing this up!!... {Ed034's Note - Ryan Hall is still at Southend!!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dobbie seems to get loaned out a lot, wonder why that is ...........

Agree0 Disagree0

Because he aint worth buying??

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest looking to hijack blackburns move for Simon cox.

Bader al-Mutawa fee agreed of around 800k

Believable12 Unbelievable28

He played well for swindow, not so great for WBA though. still if he can get 15 - 20 goals a season, id be happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maynard is the better option I reckon. Regardless of some opinions on here he would be top drawer for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute rubbish on both counts. Al-Mutawa is on trial 4 a month so who you paying 800,000 to? Cox is being targeted by Swansea in Prem so not going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's off to swansea 2 million it's on club call site

Agree0 Disagree0

Is'nt Bader's current club owned by our new owners and if so would'nt that mean they would have to pay themselves any transfer fee ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bader is on trial from Qadsia for a month, so we would be paying them the 800k as he is still owned by them. He is on trial because they are in their off-season (haven't even begun pre-season). In addition to that, our new owners have no control at Qadsia now as they ended that relationship before they bought us. However as they have such strong links, deals between the clubs should be so much easier than they would be otherwise.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we sign mutawa then we wont need cox
but i can see asian lads going on loan for xp

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope this is true & comes off!

Agree0 Disagree0

Will he get a work permit?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont see a problem with work permits as i beleive that would have been looked into ? 800,000 sounds high tho ? but he will sign.

Some guy on the West Ham rumour board is saying his sister is a physio at Forest and she's saying Maynard & Hutton both booked in for medicals late yesterday?

Believable23 Unbelievable20

Why has sod not got his own back room staff in yet ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I really can't see Alan Hutton dropping down to the championship. Don't believe it.

Agree0 Disagree0

There are only 3 physios at Forest and all of then are fella's . Andy Balderstone, Steve Devine and Andy Hunt. so I cannot see where this guys sister comes in or even knows anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hutton going stoke

Agree0 Disagree0

Stoke are looking at bringing in Alan Huttion

Soure - Daily Mail

Believable22 Unbelievable15

Stoke will sign Hutton purely because it is Prem v Champ. No contest.
