Ricardo fuller having medical tonorrow

Believable4 Unbelievable16

Would that be the 'well man' medical for the over 40's.

Agree0 Disagree0

How old is he ?

pinxton

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha.............oh and joking aside no thanks!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where would he fit in? Apart from the bench? Cox and Dex upfront, then with the other multitude of strikers we have. Also bet his wages are high so an expensive bench-warmer!

IlsonRed

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a grt player, just because he's old

Agree0 Disagree0

According to other posters he is also having a medical at Brighton, Bristol City, Middlesborough and Leeds, what a busy chap he is!!.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's gone to charlton, end of that bad rumour thank god

I bumped into someone tonight who I have not seen for ages. He goes out with someone well connected at the CG and used to spill me with some proper gossip and credible rumours.

For example, he told me when David Johnson signed from Ipswich 2 days before he did.

He told me that Colin Calderwood was going to be sacked if we lost to Doncaster and he was.

He told me that Billy Davies would replace him and he did.

This was the last time I saw him till tonight and he told me tonight that Forest are extremely close to signing Peter Whittingham from Cardiff for £2.5m

Now I am only telling you what I have been told, by someone who historically has been very reliable. He does not even support Forest he comes from Scotland and is an Inverness fan!! So why would he have a reason to lie?

Believable7 Unbelievable14

It would be nice if he did

Agree0 Disagree0

What is he a bloody fortune teller?

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll see won't we.

We've been after Whittingham for years!

Agree0 Disagree0

He signed a new contract already .

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like you bumped heads

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha not the Whittingham saga again!

Never going to happen!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its the monthy Whittingham rumour!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well that's interesting seeing as Cardiff rate him as their best player and want around 4/5m for him so for 2.5m its 99% unlikely

RG09

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah , I'd say 100% no chance!!

Dawson Madeleine available for transfer by Tottenham. How awesome - yet unrealistic - would that be! Make him the skipper!

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Dawson Madeleine?? {Ed034's Note - I think it's Dawson made

Agree0 Disagree0

Though Spurs had injuries in defence Dawson didn't feature so looks like may not be in AVB's plans. Would be a good captain and can't see many fans against this. Fans remember he and Reid didn't put i n transfer requests it was us that needed to sell. Would be nice for him to finish his carrer at home but no room for sentiment in business see how much they want.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would live daws back but will stay in the prem

Freeman has completed terms with derby and will be off shortly, no permanent replacement will be added but a LB will come in on loan. Also Hammil deal is looking likely and should be completed soon. {Ed034's Note -

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Goods news!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is Freeman leaving good news? He's a fine young prospect with a great future. He is obviously impatient for 1st team chances as they will be limited at Forest. He's been badly advised.

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree we should be keeping the youngsters - a bit concerned at age of new recruits...id have preferred younger

Agree0 Disagree1

Clough said he will be on the fringe of the first team he would of been on the fringe of our first team more like he wants more money

Agree0 Disagree0

Going somewhere else for 1st football is badly advised. Sitting on the bench or not making the squad at florist is great for his career isn't it? Derby are in the same league as florist don't forget. Arrogance. {Ed034's Note - Clough has said he will be back up. He spat his dummy out because he was expecting to be our new number 2 and got told he wasn't. I know friends of his and they have said he has gone very arrogant and thinks he's a big man

Agree0 Disagree0

Clough has already reportadly said he wont be a first 11 player ! an i cant see there being much difference in wages ? on loan to notts seemed more logical ? why the blank message on op ed?

pinxton {Ed034's Note - I just edited the post slightly. It read freedman and couldn't be doing with all the posts pointing it out lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Would understand him going to Notts County for first team games but to go to Derby he's gone for money hope we get a decent fee thats all. {Ed034's Note - if that's the reason then so be it. Everyone wants to earn more money but I've hard it's because he had a proper mardy

Agree0 Disagree0

I sit in the Trent end upper tier, season ticket holder for 6 years guy be hind me knows freemans dad and has been told that freeman won't listen to anybody. He is in a strop because when lascelles signed his bumper contract he expected one and never got offered one. His dad doesn't want him signing for derby but can't seem to get through to him {Ed034's Note - heard a very similar thing. thinks he's a big time charlie

Agree0 Disagree0

If he doesnt want to be at the CG I think it is best for both parties to part. He made it clear to odriscal that he wanted to leave so sell him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Swedish international winger Christian Willhelmsson set to become next signing at CG. Coyr!

Believable9 Unbelievable13

Good news if true. Seen him play several times. A very technical and goalscoring winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's he? Ne good ed? {Ed034's Note - He was but not so sure about now

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be ok if he would sign a one year deal, and at a reasonable wage.

p.s. if he signs, i want my season ticket next to his missus

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember him being good at Euro 2004 but i'm sure he's probably not a player S'OD has asked for. Look at all the players he has got in, all have championship experience so i'm going to rule this one as false! Get Hammill in

Agree1 Disagree0

He wasn't bad as in an impact sub at the last euros, getting on, but very very pacey.
If this was true he would be a great addition, but thats a big IF.

C8RED

Agree0 Disagree0

Do the Swedish get homesick like the Dutch?

Agree1 Disagree0

Cant understand why SoD `gone for Hall or Bennett!

Both good enough, both pacey wingers and can cross a good ball into the danger area and can score goals!

Just what we need!

Agree0 Disagree0

He has been playing in the Middle East so this might have some legs. Wood be a great player at this level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would appear that homesickness isn't a problem for Chippen, he hasn't played for a swedish club since 2000.
Since then he has played in Norway, Belgium, France, Italy, England, Spain, Saudi and Qatar.
Free agent, get him in for a year, good weapon to have on the bench.

Adam Hammill has apparently signed 4 year contract with Forest

Believable10 Unbelievable16

Made up and posted by a fake personter account.

Agree0 Disagree0

4 years , that seems a long contract ? {Ed034's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love this to be true my friend

Agree0 Disagree0

Has Fawaz tweeted, if he ain't i don't believe it

Agree2 Disagree0

Wow 4year deal for a bit part player last season who occasionally impressed in a poor side at Barnsley before his big move, anyway thats my opinion.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with post above. He has had one good season which was 2 years ago. Don't get the hype

Agree0 Disagree0

You're entitled to your opinion obviously, but if he was to come he would prove you wrong instantly. He's a class player at this level and it just didn't work out for him in the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he does prove me wrong if he signs. Just think there are better options out there for right wing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at surman he left saints think for wolves in prem had a shocker went to Norwich now looks good in prem maybe it's just wolves {Ed034's Note - I'm sure he's chomping at the bit to get away from wolves, have a fresh start and prove them wrong. I'm lookIng forward to hopefully seeing him back to his best in the garibaldi

LMFAO, someones been reading the fake Fawaz twitter account today haven't they. oh i do like to see the random crap that appears on there.

Ketnee T3

The Hammill deal has been going around and has generated a rumour but is also on wolves rumour site.

Spearing looks destined for Bolton according to Sky

Believable13 Unbelievable7

Excellent! Money better spent elsewhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah course its great news because we've got so many better players than Spearing.
NOT!

Agree0 Disagree1

Since when do sky get any thing forest right without info being out for days before they decide to post it...sky are so unreliable...

Norwich face competition from Leicester and Nottingham Forest for Hearts defender Andy Webster.

Believable13 Unbelievable16

20 Aug 2012 13:16:22
A source close to Jay spearing tells me that Bolton on loan is his preferred option as he isn't yet ready to give up on his Liverpool dream. He wouldn't move house to go to Bolton for a season

Believable27 Unbelievable10

I didn't word this well. I mean he wouldn't have to move house to go and play for Bolton for the year

McGoldrick will join Coventry on a 6 month loan deal. This will be his last chance to impress SOD. If he scores goals for coventry he may earn a contract extension. If he fails to impress he will be released.

Ishmael Miller will join Middlesbrough in a cut price 500k deal to get him off the wage bill.

Maloney will be sent out on loan if a championship team is willing to take him. We have Hutchinson and Halford who can cover that position and SOD is keen for the young RB to play week in week out at this level.

Derbyshire will be sold or loaned, depending on whether a club wants to take him. He is seen to be surplus to requirements at Forest.

Moussi will be sold for 500k. Hull are leading the chase, but Barnsley and Leeds are said to be interested. He wants to be in the first team but he does not feature in SOD's plans because he cannot pass to the level SOD wants. Gillett was signed to replace Moussi.

Cohen will have a steady return to football and may feautre as a sub until January, but may be loaned out in January for regular football. Still part of SOD's plans.

Greening will not be sold, see's him as cover for midfield and is great with the young players.

Believable20 Unbelievable19

The same Maloney that started v Bristol City and SOD said was outstanding. Your post is poor with old stories and nothing to back it up.

Agree3 Disagree0

So we sign 8 and are to ship 6 out? makes perfect sense that. {Ed034's Note - with the players that are being mentioned, i am sure we will not miss any of them, other than moussi (unless spearing comes in)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets face it all the players mentioned as leaving will hardly upset anybody as all they have done is either warmed the subs bench or phsyio table

Agree0 Disagree0

SOD said Maloneys inclusion was due to circumstance and although he was happy that he took his chance, still sees Hutchinson as first choice and Halford as cover.

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm highly sceptical when people come on here and claim to know the entire transfer dealings of the club, but these sound more plausible than the usual rubbish on here

Agree0 Disagree0

A collection of posts taken from various sources and nothing concrete here to be honest............

Agree1 Disagree0

Would be delighted with all of this

Obviously if all of these forwards leave, we need 1 or 2 others in.

And if Cohen isn't ready and Mousse is leaving we need a CM too

Agree0 Disagree0

A lot of info but nothing new ? who will loan or buy derbyshire ?

pinxton

Agree0 Disagree0

Maloney out on loan? why? I've not seen him have a bad game yet!

Agree1 Disagree0

I reckon we are stuck with derbyshire so might aswell as get him fit and playing a few games you never know he might surprise us - more than likely not though

Agree1 Disagree0

Greening 'great with young players'? Hardly a great role model on the pitch is he and we can get someone on 30,000 a year rather than 16000 a week to be 'great with the young players'. {Ed034's Note - why is he not a great role model on the pitch, unless you mean because he is not on it often??

Agree0 Disagree0

SOD never said Moloney played due to circumstances or who he saw as first choice. Lie fine but don't put words in Sean's mouth!

Agree1 Disagree0

Anyone who thinks that Brendan Moloney is not up to NFFC standard knows nowt about football.

Agree1 Disagree0

Was this all based on assumption of watching Saturday's game? Why would we sell players when we have only just got enough cover... person {Ed034's Note - We have seven strikers and need four. That's three from miller, tudgay, Derbyshire, findley or mcgoldrick that can easily go and we wouldn't be short

Agree0 Disagree0

Realy hope Moussi isn't sold because easy been our best player over last few years and Definantly would be stupid if we sold him to one of our rivals!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope Moussi isn't sold as he has been our best player over last few seasons! Would be massive blow if we sold to one of our rivals!

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi one of our best players??? Really can name at least 6 that's been better and more consistent since he signed

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi one of our best players?? You must be joking, can't pass, doesn't score and can hardly tackle. Brings absolutely nothing to the team, get rid.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is not a football club out there that cannot be so daft as to want to sign the likes of McGoaldrought,Direbyshire we are gonna be stuck with them till ther contract expires.Miller i think will be alot easier to shift - hopefully

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi doesn't read the game & react quick enough , always passing back or square & losing us the attacking momentum.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to sit somewhere in between I'm afraid. Best player - maybe not. Worst player - equally as ridiculous. Does a job and on his day is as good as any holding midfielder in the league. Just suffered with injury too much. Would I get rid. Definitely not. Particularly in the absence of a better replacement. Can also do a job at centre half, which can come in handy also

Agree0 Disagree0

I think there's a big difference between a 100% fit moose and a 75%! Past few years we have rushed him back from several injuries and he's been caught with his pants down. We have the squad now so we should only ever see a fit moose! He runs the show when he is fit {Ed034's Note - Good post

Agree0 Disagree0

I think maloney should have a chance because he went on loan to county thew seasons ago and played very well. Every time hes played for forest hes played well. i have spoke to him before he seems like a nice bloke with a good attitude so i for one say give him a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely SOD can improve Moussi all round game because when he is fit he has virtually carried Forest on his own! Must say Simon Gillett had a cracking game Saturday which is only going to push Moussi to a new level?

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi runs the show? What?? That would mean he assists goals scored by us, and that he most certainly DOES NOT do! Has for the person saying he can play at centre half, did you watch him when he played their last season? Awful player {Ed034's Note - When he is fully fit I think he is the most influential player on the pitch. Being this has nothing to do with assists. He ups the tempo, makes crunching tackles, wins header after header and can get both the players and fans going. You don't need to score goals or assist in them to be influential

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, you took the words out of my mouth with the above post. Moussi is getting some harsh criticism. He is definitely not the finished article. A rough diamond. Can have a great game and run midfield but equally can have a stinker. Would like to see him stay but he may struggle to make the side with so many strong central midfield options..

Agree0 Disagree0

A fit moussi can boss the midfield remember when we beat the sheep at there ground he bossed the centre of the park then sod will improve his game

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy above saying Moussi can't tackle there must be something wrong with your eyesight. A fit Moussi could do a good holding job but just needs to sit as opposed to last year when he got caught too far forward. Gillett played well Saturday but also made one or two slack passes

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2012 11:52:43
David McGoldrick, will sign for Coventry this week. Adam Hammil rumours look true and Derbyshire is wanted by Walsall. However Jay Spearing looks unlikely, even if Moussi joins Hull.

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Derbyshire turned down a move to Walsall last year.He will not drop down a division and would rather not play.

Forest will sign Adam Hammill in this transfer window and will look to bring in Elliott Ward and Jermome Thomas on emergeny loan deals with a view to signing them either on loan for the remainder of the season or perminantly in January, depending on their performances.

Believable14 Unbelievable11

Elliott Ward and Jermome Thomas are both out with injuries at the moment, so ca'nt see us bringing either of these in

Agree0 Disagree0

'injuries'

Every player is 'injured' while they are in discussions with other clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they need to be signed on Emergency loan deals?

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2012 11:33:07
As well as the three new players coming in a couple will go out and we are also still trying to get work permits for several Kuwaiti based players including goalkeeper khaldi al rashidi and Kuwait international bader al mutawa. The signing of rashidi could also trigger a loan move for darlow.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Who is that evtimov? {Ed034's Note - youth keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Evtimov will also get a look in after bristol by him being on the bench

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2012 11:22:54
Nottingham forest will only be signing one player before the end of the transfer window and this will be a RM. No approach has been made for Ince but we have made a bid for Hammil and as of this far anyone SOD has wanted he has got. Then after the transfer window has shut we will bring in a few players on loan not sure who but one will be a defender.

Believable8 Unbelievable11

20 Aug 2012 11:21:24
Forest should be expected to sign Kuwaiti international Bader Al Mutawa by the end of the transfer window, who is currently on trial with Forest.

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Good player and useful

I thought 3 of the triallists had offers depending on work permits ?
which someone said couldnt be granted due to nationallity circumstances ?
starting to believe him now ?

I have seen various reports (all be it twitter) that we are in talks with Adam Hammil. I for one hope this is true and we can get him in time for the Bolton game on Friday (Unless we can do it tomorrow for Huddersfield away but i doubt it!) Great player with great pace and a great delivery, what do you reckon ed?

Believable13 Unbelievable4

I'm not the Ed but I totally agree with you, would be a great signing that adds pace to the team.

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Yes it's Everton 6m
