seperate twitter sources linking forest with andy webster from hearts and ex arsenal starlet morgan ferrier

pinxton

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Kyle bennett started the season well looks really lively and got a good shot on him, thing is who do you drop from midfield,LM,AG,AR all playing well

Agree0 Disagree0

Not much has been said about this Morgan lad so I wouldn't be calling him a starlet just yet. Since leaving arsenal he's had time at Watofrd - would we call him a Watford starlet?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed , do forest have a sell on clause for Dawson ? As he is set for qpr for 9mill {Ed034's Note - it sounds like so

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, 10% according to bbc Radio Nottm this morning meaning a cool 900k! Get in there!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Webster will not come to be third choice. Morgan played for Academy as a trialist the other day. One for the future not now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never heard of this Ferrier starlet. Suppose we can loan him out for a few seasons never give him the opportunity to get a break into the first team and eventualy offload him for peanuts. Sounds like a plan.

Hammill to sign before tonights game and will make his debut against Bolton on Friday, set to sign 3 year deal, Moussi is not going anywhere, key squad player, Miller, Derbyshire and McGoldrick all set to leave before transfer window closes, Middlesboro, Blackburn and Coventry the likely destinations, there will be one other "big" signing before end of window, rumour has it is ex England forward, Emile Heskey

Believable5 Unbelievable27

Let Moussi go after tonight's action. Too much bad, not enough good. The balance isn't there.

Agree1 Disagree2

Why would we get rid of derbyshire miller and mcgoldrik to bring in a sack of cak like heskey he makes the other 3 look like messi hes rubbishe

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with above post totaly. Heskey! by no means is a ''big'' signing would be a complete disastor if he joins.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hammill to sign before the game... nice one

Agree0 Disagree0

NOT HESKEY, please not him. What rubbish

Agree0 Disagree1

Blah, blah, blah. If Heskey signs I'll buy Owen to play alongside him.Sod is buying players for the future as any true fan can see.

Agree0 Disagree0

O'Driscal was on Radio Nottingham saying there were no imminent signings and that Derbyshire and McGoldrick had parts to play in the squad as he looks like having the 2 main strikers as Cox and Blackstock. He said we have too many upfront tho at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heskey REALLY if that happens I'll never wear clothes again and camp out in the city centre

Agree0 Disagree0

Well this rumour worked out for you didn`t it!

Heskey...you having a laugh, he is an over rated donkey....NO thanks!

He couldn`t hit a barn door, and when is it that Hammill was signing, last night?

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to heskey he has had a better career than Jason Roberts and he did ok at reading last year

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Heskey be a stellar signing, past it. Nonsense. Once would be stellar.

Macheda set to sign 3 year deal COYR

Believable5 Unbelievable24

Can't even begin to explain how unlikely this rumour is. Absolute rubbish. {Ed034's Note - i think it would be a good idea for you to do so, as others on here think it's possible

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love this to be true.....but never going to happen!

Agree0 Disagree0

Love it if it was to happen he's what 4th or 5th choice at manu but we are a bit full of strikers (ha ha) even if mcgoaldrought go's to Coventry and miller eff's of to boro keep dreaming

Agree0 Disagree0

Macheda is still rated highly by Ferguson and would go to a prem team (like last season) or abroad as he has been strongly linked with teams in Italy and Spain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus a 3 year deal? That would require a transfer fee near to 10 mil. Not a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

His scoring record is 1 goal in 6 games. Why would we want him?

What a great few weeks at the CG what with the takeover, transfer spec, actual signings etc etc the feel good factor is starting to become a reality and lets be fair we deserve it. However these big name prem players rumored to be joining on loan should be taken with a pinch of salt. Although the club is making all the right moves forward we are not yet in a position to attract such talent. We are far more likely to bring in a big name in January should we be in contention.
The board and SOD are doing the right things bringing in players who will take us to the next step and then push on from there. How refreshing it is to all be behind the new owners and the Gaffer, good times ahead folks but remember these things do take time.............COYR

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Good common sense post, we've waited a long time for this backing , I can see amazing times ahead & a special thanks to the Doughty family for keeping us afloat till now .
Onwards & steadily upwards can't kuwait.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, one of the most sensible posts I've seen on here!

Agree0 Disagree0

The last thing that we need to do is attract Premier league players who are after easy money. Sean O'Driscoll is the right man for this job he has an encyclopedia of knowledge he knows league and non league talent that needs bringing on he is the right man for the job will take time though.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you are absolutely right. To gamble 5, 6 or even 10 million on one player would be silly at this stage. I think if the players can just get their heads down in each game and work hard, the results will come. I do feel though, we have to play with 2 strikers and I hope to see this tonight against Huddersfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said:) totally agree!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just got home from Huddersfield (I live in Manchester) and we definitely look top 6 material. Best Forest side in 5 years. We can only get better as the players gel and with one or two new signings to give the squad some depth. And it's all been done without spending a fortune!

Agree1 Disagree0

How the hell do you get an unbelievable on a summary? unbelievable! got to be a jealous sheep.

Coventry FC are hoping to bolster their attacking options this season by signing Nottingham Forest striker David Mcgoldrick. McGoldrick has one year left on his contract with Forest and a club source revealed that a deal is likely to be confirmed within the next few days and the move could be made permanent in the January transfer window.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Does anyone read the previous posts before posting them?

Agree0 Disagree0

The irony of the word bolster being used in the same sentence as mcgoldrick, haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that "bolster attacking options" and "David mcgoldrick" in the same sentence?!! Pmsl

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he need a whip round for the taxi to Coventry? Gladly pay it !!

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he gets a game at Cov. He's struggled at Forest...shame

Agree0 Disagree0

He will do well in league one good luck

Adam hammill about to have a medical

Believable9 Unbelievable11

Can you back this up ed? You normally know when a medical is booked don't ya {Ed034's Note - Can't mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Pull the other de jong

Agree0 Disagree1

Has he been seen at the club shop with Elokobi, Whittingham, Adam le Fondre, Billy Davies etc?

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm not happy about this signing, if all is to be believed this is about the 18th medical he has had with us...

Agree1 Disagree0

Is it worth an elokobi joke here ( ;

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a good job Direby didn't give Commons and Tyson 18 medicals we'd never had sold them. LOL

Sky Sources understand we are close to snapping up 17 year old former Arsenal youth Morgan Ferrier. Ferrier is a forward who S'OD had at Crawley for a little while

Believable11 Unbelievable6

One for the future but has been released a couple of times.

Agree1 Disagree0

Could be exciting and may suprise a few people! doesnt do much for me when hes been released by a few clubs though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Another striker.......... Ummm there must be a plan somewhere. In SOD we trust, in big AL we trust. COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

So what he's 17?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point? If we dont even play our own youngsters. We will buy him loan him out for 2-3 seasons and he will want to leave. {Ed034's Note - Just like lascelles....oh wait a minute

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because lascelle's has signed a four year contract it doesnt mean he will honour it. If SOD doesnt give him sufficient game time this season then whats saying he won't put in a transfer request.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's called planning for the future

Agree1 Disagree0

We have our own youth system with quality coming through who don't get a sniff at first team football, so why would this kid be any better?

Forest to snap up Ferrier

ky Sports understands Nottingham Forest are poised to sign former Arsenal youngster Morgan Ferrier.

Ferrier is looking for a new club after leaving Watford earlier this summer.

The 17-year-old came through Arsenal's youth system before linking up with Watford last summer after impressing on trial.

Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll has been a long-term admirer of Ferrier and had him in at Crawley before he left for the City Ground.

O'Driscoll has kept tabs on Ferrier and he has now decided to bring him to Forest as he looks to bolster his squad with the forward seen as one for the future.

Believable9 Unbelievable4

This was by me Ian T. Never heard of the lad and obv to go straight into the youth system. Still wana hear about Hammil though. I agree with a few other posters on here I think it will be Hammil and maybe another defender maybe E Ward? thats probably our lot until Jan window and see where we are at that point. I am very happy with that, plus as SOD points out theres always the loan window... Ian T

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a total waste of time signing as we will never give him a chance to break into the first team. He will be straight out on loan and he will eventualy put in a transfer request.

Forest are set to sell moussi to hull for 350k and take Huddlestone on an initial 6 month loan but would have option to extend for the season, been told this by my friend who told me about Mcgoldrick to cov about 2 weeks ago for which I got slated now it's all over this site

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Oh right so you havent just seen SSN, saw confirmation Cov have asked for McGoldrick on Loan and then half hour later seen Huddlestone is available on loan - put 2 and 2 together and got 22!? If Jenas wouldnt drop down even though hes a Nottm lad would Huddlestone? Theres about as much chance of this as the Whittingham one mate. Ian T

Agree0 Disagree0

Also 350k for Moussi? Would hope we were looking for more than that? Pity we didnt sell him when the likes of Everton / Bolton were after him season before last for figure around 3million or something. Good battling ball winner but then gives in away 2 seconds later the man cant pass. Wouldnt be sad to see him go but perhaps for more than 350k! Ian T

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok so Moussi has had an indifferent time with us sometimes head and shoulders above the rest and other times not good enough for the reserves but potentially worth far more than 350k or is just a case of offloading. As for Huddlestone what an asset he would be at this level but wishful thinking me thinks..........

Agree0 Disagree0

Tom huddlestone when he is in nottingham lives with his mum on my street he's not been in nottingham for a while so i dont think he will be signing as he's not been around if he is going to have i will see him in the next few days or so

Agree0 Disagree0

350k is a fair asking price hes a horrible player and im suprised Hull are interested in him. When ever ive watched him hes mostly been shocking, giving the ball away constantly and passing the ball like his eyes were painted on.

Agree0 Disagree1

Op here like i said this is something I have been told by a guy I know he told me weeks ago goldie to cov and I posted it in here (ed can you confirm this?) bit saying Huddlestone and mousse will happen just something I have been told and passing on

Agree0 Disagree0

The same Tom Huddlestone on his way to Stoke?

Agree0 Disagree0

Spoke to moussi this morning at the ground before boarding the coach for tonights game, doesn't want to leave and wants to prove he is worth a place and not heard anything about interest anywhere else....think he might actually be playing tonight too, need players who can break the play up away from home. Miller also on coach so don't think rumours of him being frozen out are true either, expect them both to feature tonight

Agree0 Disagree0

David Mcgoldrick looks like he could be on his way to Coventry City on loan, with SOD still interested in bringing in Billy sharpe from Southampton

Believable9 Unbelievable9

Please by all that is good get this horrible wage robbing waste of space gone from our team, even if its just for a few months!

Adam hammill and Peter whittingham about to sign for forest

Believable10 Unbelievable18

If SOD pulls off these two signing great they will def put bums on seats at city ground my hats off to the owners thank you sirs

Agree1 Disagree0

Comedy gold!!!

Agree2 Disagree0

As much as id like this to be true, i doubt it! hammill is realistic and a signing i would be happy with.. would love to see ryan hall in a forest shirt too, may not be proven but very exciting

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha , you lot still persisting with the Whitts rumor? How many seasons and you still dont get it??!!

Agree1 Disagree0

That would be quality

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does anyone think that Whittingham would leave Cardiff and why would Cardiff sell him when they have turned down Fulhams 3 million bid?

Agree0 Disagree1

Deffo truth in the Hamill rumour but SOD says he wont rush /pay over the odds basically. I think he will continue to say that so that the selling teams / agents dont take the P on fees / wages but something tells me we'll have him by end of this week. First Ive heard much on the Whittingham one not much in backing this up but hope its true, would finish off the team very nicely! COYR 2-1 tonight Cox and Adlene! Ian T

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be 2 great signings, exciting times, come on the Forest...

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess Pratley is coming also!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, Wes Verhoek & Darren Pratley in also ..... .

Agree0 Disagree0

Adam Hammill to have a medical in the next 24 hours

Agree0 Disagree0

SSN say Tommy Smith on his way to Cardiff so if Whittingham were to leave he might be the re[placement?! Fingers crossed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Um , no , Whittingham is NOT leaving Cardiff. McKay has already stated he's not for sale. Why dont you lot get that??

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the Whittingham rumour(s) is/are tongue in cheek. We are not likely to go for him now, anyway. We are two players short of a realistic promotion challenge. Forest do not want Whittingham. He is not sale either and we know that. So Cardiff fans concentrate on the Bluebirds and don't take the bait. Have a good season.

Agree1 Disagree0

Can we draw a line under this Whittingham nonsense please. He will never sign for us and neither will Thomas Ince.

Agree0 Disagree0

pw from cardif has just signed for forest you herd it here first, Taz

Believable9 Unbelievable22

We'll only believe it's if Fawaz tweets it.

Agree1 Disagree0

Please not this rumour again, let me guess he's is coming in along with Pratley!!

Beckham and Kaka anyone?

Agree1 Disagree0

Source and o driscoll has sed in the post nothing immatideate is on the cards he is wantin to bring the right players it and nt just any tom dick or harry just for numbers he wants players to make competion for places n keep every1 on their toes which i like, weve already gt to much deadwood on the wage bill we dnt need any more

mattreddog

Agree0 Disagree0

Pw deadwood? Where have you been the last few seasons pal

Agree0 Disagree0

Um , he's actually travelling to Brighton with the Cardiff squad? 2.5m , hillarious!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

You heard it hear 1st? ........ nooo we heard it ALL OVER the internet about 2yrs ago and not stopped hearing it since

Agree0 Disagree0

Why make such complete rubbish up, you need a job i recon

Sean O'Driscoll has said in the post that he doesn't expect to sign Adam hammill in this transfer window and may wait til the loan window immediately after.

Believable11 Unbelievable13

You loan now dont have to wait for window to open.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how people interpret different things isn't it. I didn't read it and think that at all. I read it that they had enquired about transfer fee and wages but nothing was imminent yet? I thought he was trust being general with regards to the loan market and saying there is no rush with transfers because he can utilise loans!! Perhaps a bit of gamesmanship with hammill as wolves might be trying to get an inflated price as they see us with a few quid and the window closing. We will see. With hammill now is the time to buy him. He has no stock at wolves and they want rid. If he comes on loan to us and does well the fee may well go up and other clubs may become interested creating an increased price! We will see.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is just posturing and we do get Hammill in ASAP. If we wait until the loan window we'd only be able to get him on a three month max emergency loan - we need this guy for as much of the season as possible

Agree0 Disagree0

You can loan people now for the season. Why would he wait for emergency loan period and only get 90 days. This is just a disagreement on price. It appears to be wolves tactics at the moment as seen with the ridiculous prices they are quoting for fletcher, Jarvis, big George and hammill

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the above. I read it as SOD has enquired but they are probably asking more than he's worth, we have done v well in our expenditure so far and wont be held to ransom on fees....especially if there are other targets in the pipeline too. All SOD is saying that we aren't desperate, wont rush or pay over inflated prices or wages which is the best way to be going on. In SOD and Al Hasawi I trust loving the fresh and exciting vibes. That said - Adam Johnson is available! lol I wish! Ian T

Agree0 Disagree0

Bassong now signed for Norwich. Will that pave the way for ward to come our way?

Agree0 Disagree0

Am hoping that we will see another defender coming in by the end of the week. Not convinced with our defence at present maybe with the exeption of Collins. Time will tell i suppose but its just my opinion.

Daily Mirror are reporting that NFFC are finalizing a 500k deal to bring Adam Hammill to the City Ground..... Routeledge will Not be leaving Swansea and Ince will Not be leaving Blackpool, if I'm wrong I'll run through Nott'm butt naked!

RG09

Believable10 Unbelievable8

Let's hope your right

Agree0 Disagree0

What, AGAIN !

Agree0 Disagree0

If you are wrong I hope your Cheryl Cole

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure all the people on here saying Hammill had one good season will be saying go get him at 500k would be good business but unfortunately think NEP got more accurate report. Unless SOD said this to force price down if Wolves don't play they still pay.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope you are a girl Just in case.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow that much faith in the mirror lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I did read somewhere that the mirror are the most accurate news paper when it comes to Forest speculation. Perhaps they may have it right again??

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know how true the DM report is....and No I'm not a girl unfortunately for you! I'm just over 16st and no its not fat!

RG09

Agree0 Disagree0

Not long to go now till the window closes SOD needs to wrap this one up sharpish. All very well saying we can do business in January but we could be in a relegation dogfight at that point with several injuries and squad left very thin.

What your just big boned? or retain water? haha
