newcastle to offer £5M for lewis in Jan. My
mate is well informed in Newcastle, and
apparently Lewis is top of there wish list.
Devastating news if it happens.

Believable16 Unbelievable13

Behave! 5 million! You must be having a boring afternoon

Agree0 Disagree0

We may have to sell up, with Doubty pulling out, were gonna need money from somewhere to balance books, time to bring youths through again

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not be surprised

Agree0 Disagree0

If they sell Lewis I will no longer have faith in Frank and Steve!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We dont need to sell to balance the books as mr doughty has stated, on numerous occasions, that he will continue to put money in and to pay for all the current contracts.
If you are any sort of forest fan you will know this is what he has said several times to the media, so why are you trying to stir up bad feeling toward him?

I would sell at 5m and let sc have the money to invest how he sees best

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance. Mike Ashley never spends - he only takes money out. He only bought the club because he lost a bet and Pardew is there to work off a massive gambling debt to Ashley: why else would Pardew have been given a 5 1/2 year contract?

Agree0 Disagree0

What complete crap....

Agree0 Disagree0

Careful what you say pal.....no basis of truth in any of that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he really worth it, would they buy him if they knew he wasn't going to get games behind the likes of cabaye, obertan, tiote, marveux, guthrie, ben arfa, gosling and gutierrez? good one..

Agree0 Disagree0

Diddnt they learn their lesson with Perch?

Odd that Martin ONeill has already come out and said that he wont take the Leicester job. he did the same with the Northern Island job. but he said nothing about Forest. makesu think that if we'd made an offer he may have come... still im very happy with Cotterill. proper legend already!

Believable9 Unbelievable12

MON has not come out and said no to the ferrets

Agree0 Disagree0

Check out bbc sport gossip column, according to them MoN has publicly stated he wont go back to fester

Agree0 Disagree0

It was a quote in the guardian

guess again

Agree0 Disagree0

John robertson said that he's not looking at any jobs because he's happy with where he is right now and has no reason to go back to management just yet

Agree0 Disagree0

MoN never mentioned forest cos he was to busy laughing at the thought of managing them. He still is !

Agree0 Disagree0

Our day will come with o"neill

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Martin O'Neil would be crying, rather than laughing. After all Forest are a club that he won two European Cup mendals with. He would feel that it is such a shame that a club with so much history and enjoyed such success, is struggling. Think that is a comment from a Leicester or Derby, still wondering what european success feels like. Forest fans may live in the past, but what a successful past, one Derby and Leicester fans never have and never will enjoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who needz o'neil we have cotterill 2 wins out of 3 thats amazing !?!?!?!?!?

sc is keen on bringing in alan smith on loan i think it be a good move a true fighter always wants to win

Believable6 Unbelievable29

Bull.
The only reason you wrote this is because of what has been publicised today.
Why didn't you just write what the other poster wrote on this story? At least you wouldn't have looked like a t!t.

Saying that he'd be an excellent signing lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish, he is on 60K a week!

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, he's on 60,000 a week and is prepared to sit and collect his money doing nothing! More chance of getting Lee Cook from QPR, he actually wants to come

Agree0 Disagree0

It depends on Newcastles motives. If they continue paying the majority of his wages, and want to get him some match fitness, ALA Arsenal with ramsey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fighter eh? Fights to sit in the best seat in the stand whilst collecting 60k a week. Has turned down return to Leeds where he is a hero..not bothered about playing its all about the money, mney, money

Newcastle are preparing to send midfielder Alan Smith out on loan. Any chance Forest might take a look at him..?

Believable12 Unbelievable38

None he is on 60K a week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this the same alan smith that has no legs like reid, boetang and greening!

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance on 60,000 a week and is ok sitting and collecting his money for nothing!

Agree0 Disagree0

We have no need for him in midfield and he is past it as a goalscorer

Agree0 Disagree0

I bloody hope not...did he not beat David Blaine's record for amount of time standing in the box doing nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope so he would be a brilliant addition to our squad a 100% effort player and can score goals.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nearing the end of career im afraid......no thanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a nearing the end of his career past it has been midfielder, he'd fit in to our midfield brilliantly!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a serious wind-up isnt it, he would be a very bad mistake

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not, SC knows what he wants and Smith aint it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Such a 100% player that he has bee happy to sit in the stands and collect the money....thats how much playing means to him.
