Wilson back to the City Ground? Out in squares tonight. Maybe just visiting family and friends but linked to forest by other sources. Link two and two together. Would be a great addition, one of the better players and I for one don't blame him for leaving, every player had ambitions it's just the way it happened never worked out.

Please no messages saying so what he's in Nottingham because his family lives here. Coyr

Believable18 Unbelievable16

So were not allowed to say he's in Nottingham for family, but are allowed to say he's here to join us. So you're saying we're allowed to agree with you but not disagree??? {Ed034's Note - I'm confused lol

Agree0 Disagree0

A season ticket holder for 30 years, I would welcome him back. Nobody truly knows what went of with mad Billy, if its good for the club/team then so be it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wilson will not be back he is on to much money. billy was right to get rid of him dont want him back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont eant him back there is better and more commited out there and we need to develop lascelles and freeman

Agree0 Disagree0

No he isn't back visiting family he has a house here!

Agree0 Disagree0

An average centre half at best..... He used to arrogantly stroll around like he was one of the worlds best? To full of himself and certainly not a team player......Leave him and his inflated ego where he his.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Kelvin Wilson to return to Nottingham Forest according to a poster on the nottinghamforest.boards.net. He seems to think the player would welcome the move too. Sounds promising as this guys knows his stuff. Missing link found, possibly?

Believable15 Unbelievable17

Was this not the same player that went on strike? He shouldn't be allowed to we're the red shirt again {Ed034's Note - He didn't go on strike. He wanted to leave and when he confronted billy about it, billy banned him from the training ground

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want him , he had his chance & he thought the grass was greener in scotland so no thanks , sorry but we are now lookin forward not backwards kelvin

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would it be looking backwards to resign Kelvin Wilson?

Agree0 Disagree1

To all the fans who keep knocking kelvin wilson. if u had the chance to go to a team who played champions league football or stay in the championship what would u do i also think billy should take some of the blame for what happend it was stubornness and bad management {Ed034's Note - He lost his place in the side and decided he fancied moving club at the end of his contract. Celtic put an offer in to go early, kilsom new he was only back up and confronted billy about not accepting the bid. Billy got a bag on and banned him from the training ground. These things happen in life and at work. Its a new dawn and a fresh start for everyone at the club. Previous or past, barring Tyson and commons if course lol He'd be a good signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

This the same Wilson that was pleading to leave on stv to tell forest how unhappy he was and was tapped up the year before by Lennon I hope he never returns!judas!

Agree0 Disagree1

Well lets be honest the amount of players that left for free, it wouldn't surprise me if he was never offered a contract...

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people will never get the message...
Closely read what Ed has put for god sake!

Agree0 Disagree0

TO PLAY WHERE? Or do we have it covered already?

Agree0 Disagree1

He's a waste of space.......couldn't tackle a good dinner!!.........Please NOOOOOOO!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - i don't agree he lost his place in the side, i might be wrong but i think he got injured then backup chambers impressed and kept his place. i guess that means he did lose his place (!) but it wasn't through poor form as a lot of revisionists seem to say. i reckon if kelvin wants to come back we should welcome it with open arms - he's the nearest thing we going to get to lynch this season :( {Ed034's Note - You don't think he lost his place, but he got injured and couldn't get back in. That's losing his place lol he's a good defender. If he comes back then a fresh start, if he doesn't then do be it and we'll get behind whoever it is that comes in

Agree0 Disagree0

"he's a waste of space" yeah sure he his you imbecile, 3rd in the league with him at the heart of the defence hardly backs up your pathetic comment, pal!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good footballer & a local lad ! Billy froze him out for personal reasons & not for the benefit of the club! Nobody is bigger than the club! We could have got 500k if he had let him go in Jan ! I would welcome him back..... Newark Red

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want him back full stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

hearing rumours that with the rest of 300k of Gunter we are using it for Robert Earnshaw back to the city ground. A reliable source saw Earnshaw in Nottingham earlier this week should be completed by Monday

Believable16 Unbelievable41

Can't believe why we would want earnshaw, it be taking a step backwards...

Agree1 Disagree0

We dont need Earnshaw!

Agree1 Disagree0

Wouldn't have a problem with Earnshaw coming back, but can't see it happening. We still have a top heavy squad of strikers, so why would we add another? Don't know if there's any truth in him being seen in Nott'm this week but it's quite feasible. He's good mates with Dex' and may just have been visiting and I think he still owns his house in Beeston so may have had some business up here too.

Agree0 Disagree0

At least earnshaw knows we're the goal is not like the other flops, mcgoldrick is awful

Agree0 Disagree0

If you listened to forest reports Gunter was sold before the takeover so any money would have gone to the doughty estate this earnshaw rumour a load of rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunter deal agreen before the sale but not paid for so money would be owed to the new company

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love 2see earnie back in a forest shirt ( my lad could start wearing his shirt again lol ) he also got a tyson 1 i wont ever let him wear that 1 again lol ..

Agree0 Disagree0

Before the takeover I'd have taken Earnir back. Now though I think we should be looking at younger up and coming players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Earnshew staying at cardiff i was working on his alll week in cardifff a welsh red

Agree0 Disagree0

Ernies past his best . We need a 20 goal a season striker alittle younger

Agree0 Disagree0

Earnshaw and Wilson for the history books.Onwards and upwards. COYR.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure Cardiff released him so he is a free agent? So he would be free to sign? {Ed034's Note - Cardiff have not released him

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean with 300,000 left from Gunther. The owners have somewhere near 2 billion so I don't think its counting the pennies time quite yet.Why bother with such rubbish rumours?

Agree0 Disagree0

That is wrong about the gunter money going to the estate. The estate didn't own him, the club did therefore the club gets the money (as in all transfers ever).

I can't imagine why you'd think different?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just wish we could buy two or three strikers that could score 10-15 goals each pre season haven't had thatin years {Ed034's Note - We have that in blackstock, miller and Just need one more.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jul 2012 19:18:18
The reds are looking at Chris Burke and Nicky Maynard {Ed034's Note - Hope so. Would be two good signings

Believable29 Unbelievable23

I agree would be great signings hope its true

Bridgeford Boy2

Agree0 Disagree0

Chris burke is a very good out&out wide man that can put a very good balls across and there are not that many good ones about, he is one, with birmingham signing him on a free from cardiff they could cash in if the price is right with only one year left contract, on maynard think would be great with dex or mixed up with miller but all depends on west ham buying another front-man

Agree0 Disagree0

OP here ed I put a link up for it but wasn't added how do I get it on {Ed034's Note - A link for what buddy???

Agree0 Disagree0

With regards to Nicky Maynard; it might be interesting to follow how West Hams loan bid for Andy Carroll goes. It could therefore make Maynard available?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prove the owners ambition

Agree0 Disagree0

The story I got this from {Ed034's Note - I would suggest saying how tho google it, as links are not allowed. Sorry.
I would be very interested to read it though

Agree0 Disagree0

Be well chuffed with these defo burke {Ed034's Note - Just Burke would do for me. Exactly the sort of player we need. For me a winger is more important than a centre back now

Agree0 Disagree0

It's on football lad under all go at forest ed by no means does it say they ate signing but it does say that we are interested I know how everyone likes a source If you just google all go at Nottingham forest it's the first link that pops up

Agree0 Disagree0

If theses two joined up it would be most forest fans dreams come true an out and out top quality winger and a 20 goals a season striker yes please

I would like to inform all my fellow forest fans that ed034 has been done over.
After finding out that I started to edit this page, a cousin (or should I say excousin) who knows a player and his mrs very well, all decided to play a trick on me and tell me Reid was definatly captain. This is not the case. I am not saying he isn't the captain, but no decision had yet been made.
I will certainly be getting my own back as we are going to watch fleetwood and are stating in Blackpool for a couple of days with the other halves.
With regards to big George, I have seen the texted myself saying he was booked in. I do not know if he had a medical or not, but I can guarantee he was expected to of had.
On behalf of my idiot cousin, I apologise

Ed034

Believable8 Unbelievable19

Its ok ed034 {Ed034's Note - I wouldn't mind but it was my cousin, the player and his mrs that thought it would be funny. I will have my own back

Agree0 Disagree0

So you've been telling us porky pies ed, a downright fabrication if the truth!!! Don't know how I feel bout that, I've passed this info on to many a tricky trees now! Lol {Ed034's Note - If you are in the southbank on the first game of the season, I will put a pic of my cousin on the toilet door, so you can do as you feel fit when you see him

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I do usually get a couple of pints in there before the game so cousin is getting it I'm afraid!! {Ed034's Note - I am looking forward to it. He deserves it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive read somewhere (cant remember) that he thinks it will stop his impact on the game and he doesnt want to be captain, if i find the article i will put it on here.

pinxton {Ed034's Note - Reid was captain at Charlton and was there best player

Agree0 Disagree0

Ryan Hall will be the next Forest signing, early sometime next week.

Believable22 Unbelievable16

Doubt it. Southend midfielder Ryan Hall jailed over Christmas party argument
• Midfielder admitted affray and possession of offensive weapon
• Has scored four goals since joining from Bromley last summer {Ed034's Note - Why do you not think he could join?? He is not in jail and has received rave reviews last season. I think he's worth a punt

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair point Ed. Just hope he would not be a disruptive influence. Would Sir Alex take on someone with a similar off the pitch record?. {Ed034's Note - He has the luxury of not having to

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he a wide midfielder or central?

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he comes, needs to be given a chance at a higher level, this prision stuff is irrelevent, he is not in there now and the reason behind his troubles are nothing comparied to others who are currently playing e.g king and hughes

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with ed

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus, he was responding to racist abuse outside that club. it's not as if he just started fighting a la joey barton

Agree0 Disagree0

Good young player i think

Agree0 Disagree0

I mean Tony Adams at Arsenal didn't turn out too bad did he! It was just a matter of been in the wrong place at that time.

Agree0 Disagree0

The kid never went to prison
He got 150hours comm service and a suspended sentence Also what about moving on, what's you never done anything wrong before angel

Leicester player moussa and Algerian Bouzid are playing for forest in a behind closed doors game against Mansfield town, forests next two signings possibly?

Believable19 Unbelievable6

You read the NEP report. Both have no clubs and were looked at.Thats it.

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope not, Leicester fans say one is awful, and Hearts Fans say the other one is a loose cannon and a liability

Agree0 Disagree0

If moussa isnt a flying winger we dont want him we are well blessed with a greta range of crntral and defnesive mid fielders

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jul 2012 14:16:21
Tony Mowbray also hopes to sign Ishmael Miller from Nottingham Forest ( Source : Daily Mail page 93}

Believable14 Unbelievable14

I want to see how well he does with all rumours about him really wanting it this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Miller was excellent today apparently. Scored one and put numerous on a plate for others that were missed. I reckon he will have a good season given a run of games

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd prefer him to leave, whenever he played he'd moan all the time, never got back to help out! Tudgay and Dex up top....End of!

Jay Bothroyd on his way.

Believable10 Unbelievable24

When will forest try to sign someone under the age of 25

Agree0 Disagree0

He is going to leeds to reunite with warnock

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should signings be under 25 mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah great idea..loads of under 25's who bottle it at play offs, or? Guys who have been there done it n sweated it?

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope not.he couldn't hit a cow on the arse with a banjo.
IERM

Agree0 Disagree0

He is off to lufc {Ed034's Note - is that confirmed??

Agree0 Disagree0

Too lazy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want him? he moves clubs for fun. Forget him waste of time. We need to ship out 3 strikers before one new one comes in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very bloody lazy dont want

I was shopping with the wife in town today ans passed Clinton Morrison. I asked if he was off down to the City Ground and he just smiled and winked ... Let's hope he isn't signing.

Believable3 Unbelievable20

He is 33 god no

Agree0 Disagree0

More likely notts county he's past it league 1 player nowadays

Agree0 Disagree0

Clinton Morisson lives in Kimberley Nottingham!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's just signed for Colchester United! {Ed034's Note - Phew!

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't remember who it was but he signed a 2yr contract with someone in league1 a few weeks ago

Agree1 Disagree0

Do you mean you passed Clinton Cards and Morrisons? I passed Greggs and Halfords.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don`t worry Clinton Morrison lives in Kimberley so was just out shopping in his local city. I know because delivered his mail sometimes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt it hes signed for colchester

Agree0 Disagree0

He has just signed a 2 year deal with colchester, so not going to sign for us

Has anyone got anything definitive on the season loans of Rose and Le Fondre?

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Spurs have said Rose can go on loan to a premiership team, Villa are interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Adam le fondre could be coming to the championship on loan after loosing his place in the team but lets hope he wants to come

Bridgeford Boy2 {Ed034's Note -

28 Jul 2012 11:44:31
the next two players in are kirk broadfoot and chris burke good team being built

Believable5 Unbelievable12

Elokobi is in the wolves starting 11 today for the walsall game. Think that indicates he is not coming. In the short term anyway. Happy with Harding though

28 Jul 2012 11:38:58
Ryan hall has been approched about a move to forest

Believable9 Unbelievable9

I hope so, sounds a good talent. Only just what I have read tho. Anyone seen him play? COYR

Harding signing complete...On official site

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Another good signing. im liking the look of these defenders all 6ft plus another big comanding centre back and a 20 a season striker and 2 wingers and we are all set!

Agree0 Disagree0

Delighted with a permanent left back but would have preferred Greg Cunningham! Oh well, can't be too picky when we haven't owned a left back for about three years!

Agree0 Disagree0

Southampton fans have a lot of praise for him.looks like we have a good player

News on two signings will be announced after the friendly match . Talk is that a Premier League Striker will be making his way to the City Ground. the striker is on 25 grand at the minute but can't think who he is?

Believable9 Unbelievable9

Micky Maynard?
Jay bothroyd?
Dj Campbell?

Agree0 Disagree0

I really don't think we'll be signing a striker to be honest. I think Derbyshire will leave, Tudgay might, McGoldrick possibly. But I think SOD will play Blackstock with either Miller or Findley and the other one on the bench. Just my opinion.

Ed, do you think we NEED another striker?

Forgetting of course we've got the Kuwait lads on trial. {Ed034's Note - We don't need one, but of we can improve on what we've got, then you should always try

Agree0 Disagree0

Its Carlton Cole

Agree0 Disagree0

Jay bothroyd? dj campbell? i doubt though

Agree0 Disagree0

It is hopefully someone who will score 20+ and has to fit in next to Blackstock but can anyone name who it is if true ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Le Fondre

Agree0 Disagree0

Le fondre or Maynard

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope it`s not Bothroyd or Fuller or even Heskey!
Wouldnt mind LeFondre or even Maynard!

Just to reassure you all Ishmael Miller is staying at Nottingham Forest. He wants to prove himself to the fans that he can score. I expect that he will bag around 15 to 20 goals !

Believable11 Unbelievable8

Who are you reassuring apart from every other championship side that we won't be scoring any goals again. He really just isn't good enough, full stop!! Come on you mighty reds!! {Ed034's Note - Everyone said they about mccleary

Agree0 Disagree0

He needs a good run of games but last season he looked like he couldnt be botherd to be out there half the tym i hope he proves me cuz off last season i dont rate him he either looked liked he cba or was injured n for 17grand a week id like alot more effort out of him wen the rest of the team are on half that

Agree0 Disagree0

And lynch

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point Ed. Miller has the potential to be really good for us. Let's hope he proves the doubters wrong...

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll stay but be well down the pecking order, we'll bring two in, probably CMS and la fondre. We've enquired about Maynard but don't think that'll happen so Dex CMS La Fondre and Miller likely to be the four which must be bad news for Derbyshire, Tudgay, McGoldrick etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair comment Ed but McCleary always had the ability. I just don't think Miller has, he's never been a goalscorer wherever he's played at. Come on you mighty reds!!

Agree0 Disagree0

His squad number suggests he wont be around {Ed034's Note - He chose it. It was his number at man city

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope your right he had a stinker last season. He's had a good rest and looks really good in training as you say he has a point to prove

Agree0 Disagree0

Just cant see 2 strikers coming in when theres 6/7 on books? gotta see some leave first or prove they can do the job?

pinxton

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather see mcgoldrick and derbyshire go before miller. miller has all the attributes to be a real hand full if he can knuckly down.
with that said, i think findley and derbyshire both have goals in them given run of games and some confidence.

Agree1 Disagree1

28 Jul 2012 10:15:02
Nottingham Forest could sign Dan Harding if he completes a medical after fee accepted by southampton also George Elokobi could sign by next week but well have to see if he is in the wolves side today that will give us an idea. I am also seeing/hearing about rumours for attackers like adam le fondre on loan from reading with posibility to be brought also Craig mackail smith is a name i keep seeing and apparently we have had a fee accepted for him i dont know if this is true but more signings by next week hopefully

Bridgeford Boy2

Believable9 Unbelievable3

Was le fondre at southampton ? cracking buy if ive got right person ?

medical tomorrow morning for CMS! A fee with brighton has been agree. watch this space!

Believable15 Unbelievable16

Just how many goals did he score for brighton league one player at best give him to county

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true then all I can say is Wooooooooohoooooo! Him and Blackstock at this level would rip this league apart. Come on you mighty reds!!

Agree0 Disagree1

Can't see this being true in respect to a medical today, I'm in Eastbourne for a wedding that Craig is also attending, I will ask him if there is any truth in the rumour.

AC

Agree0 Disagree1

He's in Spain in a training camp with rest of squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a fully fit Miller would be better,CMS not yet proven at this level

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a talented lad this Craig not only at goalscoring. He's in Spain and at a wedding in Eastbourne on the same day. He's in the wrong game lads, clearly he should be a magician. How long does it take you lot to think of these things and havent you got anything better to do?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow this lad gets about a bit having a medical in nottingham, at a wedding in eastbourne and at Brighton's training camp in Spain all on the same day!

Agree0 Disagree0

What do people see in Miller, not being negative but I just don't understand it. He's just lazy, won't run for anything. He's a big lad and won't jump for headers. Not being horrible to the lad but I just don't rate him and think we'd be far better off with someone else. Come on you mighty reds!!

Agree0 Disagree0

CMS hasn't got a good scoring record at all, its just slightly better than tudgay's. If we want a high scoring striker we need to pay the money. It's Rhodes or dj Campbell for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Post above, that would suggest miller has proved himself at this level..... Really??? Looking at his goal record I don't think so. COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

Will post a photo later, wedding is at a stately home in Ringmer nr Eastbourne, it's his Mrs Brother getting married so been given permission to attend.
