Nottingham Forest have joined the battle to sign Bromley starlet Arron Rhule, skysports.com can reveal.

A number of Premier League clubs have been tracking the young winger, who has come through the ranks at Bromley.

The 17-year-old was training with Queens Park Rangers earlier this month and they maintain an interest in Rhule, who can play anywhere down the left.

Now Forest have made an approach and Rhule is set to link up with Steve Cotterill's men this week.

Forest will now assess Rhule and, if he impresses, they will look to push through a permanent deal.

I've been living down bromley for the past 2 years and when i can't get too certain forest games I go and watch bromley. Everytime I watch them arron rhule is the stand out player. For a number of months i've been saying that im suprised the premier big boys haven't approached him yet. He's certain to be a star of the future. I'd put my house on it. I will be delighted if we signed him.

So he may have the opportunity to join Forest or QPR. A team near bottom of championship or a premiership side with a lot of dosh.....mmmm I wonder who he will choose

Agree0 Disagree0

McCleary was a Bromley boy as well! could have Bromley on the left and Bromley on the right flanks in the future?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope this is true but even not, i'ts the way forward for Forest in the future: It's the way we got our Gary Birtles, Peter Davenport and Roy Kean's in the past and their must be loads of gems out there in the semi amatuer leagues just waiting for their chance...and grateful of it. saves you millions too!

Chelsea and arsenal looking at Jamal lascelles. Future England captain should be worth a few but I wouldn't want to sell him. Thouughts?!

Believable19 Unbelievable13

Future England captain? getting a bit ahead of yourself arent you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Take them for as much as theyve got but get him back on loan for 2 seaons as part of the deal

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is as good as Arsenal think then why is he no where near our first team yet?
also I hear reports that he has an attitude problem. twice he was included in the first team squad and both times he turned up late (when billy was manager) so because of that Billy sent him back to the youth team

Agree0 Disagree0

We arent in a possition to play hardball with any big clubs that want any of our players. SC needs some cash to bolster the squad and thiswill be seen as an oppertunity, I would rather see a young player go wj hasnt even played in the first team yet rather than a Mcguggan Camp or Chambers.
The reality is there no more Doughty money for new players.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is that much of a 'wonderkid' why is he not being included in first team? Is he still in his pram?

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's that good , put him in the first and then sell him for as much as you can get in jan

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest have slapped a 7,000,000 price tag on his shoulders..

Agree0 Disagree0

Chambos out off contract end off season id sell him now incase we lose him for nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

OLd old news re Arsenal.......kid has a stress fracture of the back and is out of action at moment. Despite that nowhere near ready for first team yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd sell Mc Googone as he has not got the temperament or commitment to be a top player

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger signed Oxlade Chamberlain and Walcott for alot of money - both young players and both were playing for Southampton first team. has lascelles even had a sniff of the first team?
