Forest in talks with left-back Boukany Drame after release from FC Sochaux

Believable12 Unbelievable19

This is true...type his name into google and go on to news and then there is an article in french stating this :) he looks average

Agree0 Disagree0

But its a lb what we need and a young player.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we could have a bad lb, i would be happy. An average one would be fantastic

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a LB u spanner

Agree0 Disagree0

Get in the real world. Doughty has already said we don't need a left back I've only been watching Forest for 50 years, what do I know. Long live the Championship - cause you wont see the Premierership while he rules the roost.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only talk forest are in is among them selves they will sign no one they will start with the squad they have then they will promise to strenthon in the january window the same old chestnut

Agree0 Disagree0

I googled him and it says he's on trial at birmingham? U reds

Agree0 Disagree0

He was with birmingham in 2009

Agree0 Disagree0

He was at the city ground on Friday to discuss contract terms

would be nice to get armand traore on loan.

Believable6 Unbelievable15

It would indeed but his wages would be too high

Agree0 Disagree0

Not to mention he and the perennially injured Gibbs are the only two left backs available to Wenger. Never happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently the gunners are buying newcastle's left back...

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of Armand Van Helden playing for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice to get rooney too, but it ain't happenin

How does Gardner look bs Lincoln and what number has he got?

Believable10 Unbelievable3

He looked poor...

Agree0 Disagree0

He was wearing the Number 5 shirt. No replacement for Wes though.

Red-Till-Dead.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gardner always looks angry......walking round with a face like a slapped rse. Just hope he might channel some of that anger into finding the net..........providing he is given the opportunity

Agree0 Disagree0

He played well today, he will replace wes when goes to leicester monday...

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumours that routledge is to have a medical at swansea on Tuesday, bang goes another "top" target (apparently), forest pre season strategy looks like been a successful one, bid for the quality high priced players, in the hope we don't get them, just to keep the fans happy, and can then say, " at least we are trying"...but then have no problems tieing up the freebies and cheap Targets....why not just admit we ain't got the cash to compete, so will look at free, loans, and cheap players, instead of all this pre season bravado we have all the time just to get the income in from fans...

Believable14 Unbelievable10

Until all the fans do something about it like boycott a game doughty will just keep giving fans smokescreens every summer time to go you have no ambition doughty it shows in the signings not quality but money sorry you are holding us back please leave our club because its the same old every summer by the way be interesting to see what the gates are this year

Agree0 Disagree0

All to do with season tickets, high profile names linked increases ticket sales

Agree0 Disagree0

I tell you what - lets keep the whingers happy - spend more than we can afford; pay wages that bankrupt the club then watch the club fold Get a life Or better still - Invest at least 15million a year to help keep the club afloat

Agree0 Disagree0

Hang on, even the article you've based that nonsense on suggests that we offered bigger wages than Swansea, but have missed out. How do you make the jump from "having a bid accepted, offered bigger wages" to "ain't got the cash to compete"? He wanted premiership football, get over it, move on to the next. Or better still, we'll move on, you jog off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe you and your ilk should run the club and then we can be playing Grimsby and Luton in a few years.

Agree0 Disagree0

So are you happy then where we are keep being lied too year after year doughty out new owner in fed up of the bulls**t no ticket for me until the board back their manager

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love us to do a leicester on it and sign loads of players but it ain't going to happen. We are not in the financial s##t and have done well on the pitch recently and hopefully SM will take us that step further. Football is a business and not in it to please whinging fans so stop moaning and accept what is which is a lot better than most clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

And what about the fans that pay bloody good money to watch their team if doughty has no ambition he should move on end of

Agree0 Disagree0

'Maybe you and your ilk should run the club and then we can be playing Grimsby and Luton in a few years'

it wasn't me who made the original comment but you're a c***

we've got nobody to score goals, you cannot compete at the top without goals so you tell me where the f*** they're going to come from.

as well as entering the THIRD YEAR with nobody to play left back how are we going to stop goals if 1 of gunter, morgan or chambers gets injured?

we'll be out the trap door to league one quicker than an agent can walk out of mark arthurs office after having his time wasted.

everything is fine isn't it?

the club has no intention of competing

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play that's your opinion don't go to games and support man u then but we have a good club, manager and players we all want more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fans are entitled to their opinion, especially if you have invested nearly five hundred pounds in a season ticket.

There is a fine line between moaning and being constructively critical of your football club.

In 2001 when Doughty took full control of the club, we were losing 110,000.00 a week after three seasons of relegation, promotion, relegation, then two seasons off David Platt.

Without ND investment we would have gone into administration a long time ago. Business do not clear debt, only to run it up again. Football is a business and you have to live within your means.

Personally I would jump ship, as a significant number of Forest fans just moan, because bein fickle is second nature.

Five hundred pounds would have purchased the two double glazed windows for my little boys nursery, but I have a deep rooted love of my football club and I don't and I hope we are not being taken for granted.

If I was taken for granted, I would not purchase a season ticket and I would not waste my energy writing on forums.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with u m8 but i didnt bother renewing my season ticket cus i new the board lack ambition all they do is make promises just to get us to buy them then kick us in the balls check are signings out reid past it free no1 wanted him boteang same nearly 36 greening best of is years ave gone fuk watchin that s**t this season doughty u need to go

Agree0 Disagree0

'There is a fine line between moaning and being constructively critical of your football club.'

the term constructive criticism infers that criticisms will be taken on board to prevent the same mistakes being made over and over and over and over again. we follow a club however that has very clearly accepted mediocrity already and settled for mid table.

it is not possible in my opinion that doughty, arthur and pleat are unaware that we are pathetically under equipped to complete a full season. for the second year in a row they have knowingly and deliberately sabotaged any chance of promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not a c***, I'm a Buddhist.

Buddha say "Know where you've been to know where you're going"

Buddha say "Slowly slowly catchee monkey"

Baddha say "Chill Winston"

Buddha say "I think Cohen would do well at left back, not ideal but hey.....tears in a bucket.....f**k it"

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant understand why doughty wants to keep the club he loves if he dont do anything with it lets face it he has the money just go for it for once

Agree0 Disagree0

I am perfectly aware what the term constructive criticism means. Just ask yourself would you pay 5 million for Nicky Maynard and pay some of the inflated wages that some players ask for.

Forest have let some players go and brought in better players so far. Greening is a play maker that we have been lacking and Boeteng is far better than McKenna. Yes we do need more players, a goalscoring centre forward to replace Earnshaw who only scored nine or ten goals last seson. Another winger and another centre half and I feel we will challenge for the play offs.

@NottmForestNews has tweeted that Routledge is to have a medical in Tuesday at Swansea. Although Forest and Leicester have offered more in wages, so it says. Can we not get our top targets?

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Not when premier league teams are envolved , mate its common sense that a player is gonna be more attracted to premier league than the npower bloody championship As much as i'd love to see him brought into the ranks of forest , the chances are it's never gonna happen when the Holy Land of football's involved

Agree0 Disagree0

Championship or Premier League? Where would you rather play?

Left back is on the list with routledge and a target man. Left back will a 6 month loan with Cohen and Freeman as a back up. Expect a late bid dot goodwillie now all the clubs no they are not going to get such a good young talent on the cheap

Nottingham Forest are battling
hard to avoid signing thier top 3 targets Marther was quoted as saying as saying the Reds were VERY INTERESTED in signing Routledge but were put off at the last minute by being the only club interested so could of signed him- The Reds are now believed to be monitering the Wesley Verhoek situation and are hopefull of Rangers securing a deal for the talented Dutch midfielder after alerting them of his signature.
They are also hopeful that the Goodwillie dealill be resolved soon after making a lot of noise to attract Premeirship interest :)

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Totally agree with your statement this is forest all over ffs

Agree0 Disagree0

...and yet you all get peed off when there are no noises about signings being made as the club does everything behind closed doors?
Get real - these potential signings are all well-known and it's not because of what NFFC have released to the media that has enabled others to lodge interest.

Everyone as done nothing but want ND out, slag the man off say he's the worst chairman possible. This is a joke.
If it wasn't through ND we wouldn't have been in the playoffs the last 2 years, got automatic promotion from league 1. He's still there trying if and when he can too provide the money for that promotion push again.

So get off ND's back and think about getting behind the mighty reds more COYR

Believable11 Unbelievable9

People forget that ND makes up the difference between income and expenditure. Without that we would be signing Derby County quality players not the decent signings we have made of recent seasons.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of crap If ND wanted promotion in the last two seasons we would of done it. He's happy to take 2 million a year off us. Promo from league one was down th CC and the players and carlise and Donny fooling it up... Dint forget theoney we owe him was used to buy us outright Hes done a glazier's and used forest Money to buy forest what a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person defending Doughty. If he d have strengthened the squad in the past two january windows i believe we would have gone up.Twice at xmas we were second and no reinforcements except emergency loans. Now the penny pinching continues. We ve spent all summer messing about with VOrhoek and routledge and will miss out on both.DOughty out.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm behind the reds all the way....a bit of honesty wouldn't go a miss tho.....he should just come out with some truth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate

Agree0 Disagree0

The other view point is that we wouldn't have spent 3 seasons in League One. NDs penny pinching sent us down and kept us down (we fluked automatic promotion on the last day of the season against Yeovil). After promotion he should've pushed us on but instead we spent the majority of the season in the bottom 3 - any other team would have used that as a time to invest and use the promotion bounce rather showing little to no ambition.

As for the financial state of the club, it was ND who financed Platt and his signings, it was ND who sold off our best players and didn't replace them, it was ND who allowed us to slide down the leagues whilst the Prem was enjoying it's biggest boost in ever.

Just look at Stoke, they were midtable In the Championship/ first division when ND sold off our crown jewels - now they are an established Premier League club. They had a season or two just holding onto their Prem status but have now pushed on and are able to pay big money for big players. That should have been us

One season in the Prem, even if we did a derby and came straight back down, would earn the club +80m in tv money and parachute payments. Now consider that despite several players leaving, freeing up the wage bill, the chairmen is still stalling over a bid for Routledge because of money. ND won't spend good money to bring in a proven quality player but he was willing to spend over 2n bringing in both McGoldrick and Garner, players who aren't proven at this level and have given us very little since joining. Makes perfect sense

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't know what your talking about mate. ND is a p***k only interested in milking the club and not replacing players Ask Paul Hart D******d

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the very fact that the management team has bought in so many players like Garner and McGoaldrought - who both looked very promising and have done virtually nothing for us - that ND isn't spending the cash. He isn't made of money and while he will back the manager most of the time he certainly isn't going to waste cash and bring in players who won't accept the wage structure. Leave them to Leicester - I'm afraid we can't compete against them financially and there's no point in bothering about them.

Agree0 Disagree0

You actually think that forest wouldn't have got to the playoff's without ND your a nutter in all honesty WE HAVEN'T HAD A LEFT BACK SINCE 2008 Now if he is infact such a fantastic chair man , then how come we've never got round to sorting it out ? Also in case you hadn't noticed we've got no proven cover for the likes of chamber's or wes , what so ever and what about strikers ? who've we got that's scored more than 15 goals in the championship throughout there entire ? The simple answer is no one . There's only one striker that at this moment in time i feel may be able to compete with the like's of long , maynard , cole etc . And that's robbie findley , which just a hunch so if are "beloved" is infact any good , then how come we're left with weak hunches and minds filled hopeful thinking ?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we did not have ND we would be in a s**t state. He has saved us when Platt tried to spend all our our money on crap & spent money on keeping the club afloat. I agree it is frustrating watching fester just go out & buy players like he's on 'football manager' : The thing is when other clubs are in the premeirship (swansea) & having the chance to play in the Champtions League (Rangers) are after the same player....you can understand how we are not the draw we used to be.....Also what we need to understand is that there is not a queue of investers waiting to buy the club and would you rather have a chairman that is a fan instead of some yankee or chinaman ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry; Doughty has reached the end. We need somebody with money to run our club. I am sick and tired of hearing about Leicester this and Leicester that. We play Lincoln City today they play F*****ng Real Madrid 3 years without a PERMANANT left back - absolutely unblelievable. What a load of sh*te, and he says we're not looking for a left back Well hello, are you in the real world? Cohen at left back -you're having a laugh
Get lost Doghty - Forest till I die

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know there is not a queue of investers willing to buy forest you wont know that till doughty puts the club up for sale

Agree0 Disagree0

ND does what every other chairman does puts money in to the club that's football if he don't like sell the club with our history fan base and ground there should be money to spend we should be able to go out and spend 10m on 5 players over the years we've spend our money brain clough built this club to b at the top I no it's in the past but ND has stripped away any chance of us winning anything because he's running as a buisness football clubs are not buisness there pleasure the only clubs worth owt r the prem clubs so if he's this great buisness man he thinks he is get 10m out invest n get us in the prem n sell us n make himself a nice tidy proffit that would be a gd buisness man We've the smallest squad in the championship he's promised wally brolly money there is money to spend jus look at his bank account but it's this transfer panel of has beens wally should decide how much players r worth not the panel give him a budget n let him do his job even if he's got 10p let him have it and do it himself yea platt messed it up but who employed him a man with no previous manager job gets 10m to do wat he wants we ND u were to blame not platt he should if never even been given a job now we have a man who has managed the national team n he isn't given a budget realy dnt make sense ND thankyou for funding this club but the club is to big to b a profiable buisness unless u get prem Footie

Agree0 Disagree0

With all of this built up frustration someone needs to take a huge banner to the city ground on the first game of the season, that ses "DOUGHTY OUT"

Agree0 Disagree0
