Never posted but type " Roque Santa Cruz Forest" in the google bar and the official Forest profiles come up. Is there something in this do u think? {Ed034's Note - no because I tried it with Crewe and it did the same

Believable1 Unbelievable11

I've typed this in and got a type of American woodland cheese , very odd

i think moussi should be given a go at centre back think it could be the making of hi due to his stature and strength {Ed034's Note - Did you see moussi play centre back?? I don't know why I'm asking because if you did you would never have sent this

Believable4 Unbelievable17

Is shorey on a free ?

Agree9 Disagree5

Agreed, was well out his depth in defence. Don't ever want to see that again!

Agree9 Disagree2

I am all for opinions, but when you air something at least have some decent weight behind it, don't just say things because they 'pop' in your head. Lets look at this from a factual point of view: 1. Moussi played CB against Leicester in the cup, he was awful;
2. He was awful because:
i: He cannot read the game, which results in him being positionally poor;
ii: He cannot head the ball well enough;
3: He cannot pass the ball;
4: It is no longer enough to be 'big and strong' ... the games evolved.

I'd rather listen to rubbish rumours about RVP coming to forest on 300k a wekk than people talk about factual issues.

Would love to have known Clough's view of Guy Moussi. {Ed034's Note - for Clough he would had been fantastic....'know then young man. You go and win the ball and then pass it to someone that can use it'

Agree8 Disagree0

You obviously didn't see fester v forest last season

Agree3 Disagree0

Dear Ed Moussi can't pass for toffee or any other confectionary, including bons-bons, so I don't think Cloughie would have entertained him. {Ed034's Note - Moussie can do the simple passes right, it's just when he tries for through balks it all tends to go wrong. He is a big influence in midfield and you need someone like him to let the other play without fear

Agree2 Disagree2

Moussi's position is mid field. Prior to last season he has always been one of forest's faithful players. I personally still rate him, it's just getting him fit and playing consistent games.

Agree4 Disagree1

It always worries me how many times in a game he actually gets himself on the 'wrong' side, allowing opposing midfield players a free run at our defence.

Agree3 Disagree0

Moussi is about as good at centre half as cohen is at left back.

both have been tried often enough that they should never be tried again. {Ed034's Note - I thik Cohen does a decent job at left back, we just miss him in midfield when he plays there

Agree1 Disagree0

Does anyone know if Cohen is ready yet,,,,if so he's our main player next season!! {Ed034's Note - I think he started training at the same time as the rest of the players, bit is taking it easy to start off with

@accordingtoaldo: #NFFC defender Joel Lynch off to Huddersfield (via @reluctantnicko). #Millwall talked to him a few months back. Wanted £7k+ in wages.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Noone's goin anywhere yoof not till IT happens and is official why pass up the chance of a prem push n prem wages!
FTID

Agree3 Disagree2

Why did McCleary go then? and why is Chambers set to go then?

Agree2 Disagree1

Contracts! fraggle....

Agree4 Disagree0

No ones going until the big news is announced, hence why chambers move as been put on hold till next week.

All over twitter that John Carew is set to snub a move for Belgium and sign for Forest.

Believable6 Unbelievable9

It's nowhere on twitter

Agree4 Disagree2

#nffc

Agree1 Disagree0

Why ?? overweight and overpaid !!

Agree2 Disagree0

Carew is retiring from football - thank you...

Agree3 Disagree0

If thene family owners of our club are half as rich and committed to the Reds as we are led to believe, we don't need to be looking at has-beens and never was's. we should also be able to look at - and get -players who are not out of contract and who their clubs want to keep. Hopefully, we can all set our sights much higher than we have become accustomed to doing and this doesn't neccessarily mean throwing money around like Man City. Of course, there are players too like Pep who is class, still in contract but has fallen out of favour with Wolves. He'd fit the bill too. Carew would have been fine six years ago but not now.

Maybe this is why our takeover is taking a while, cuz Seymour Pierce are being took over themselves! Ironic really....

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/9367251/Seymour-Pierce-set-to-be-sold-to-former-Soviet-company.html

Believable3 Unbelievable8

Sorry but how can people disagree with this? its in clear black and white?? {Ed034's Note - I think they maybe disagreeing with this being the reason you think the takeover is taking a while

Agree4 Disagree1

The Forest takeover was always going to take this long. there are legal things that have to be done before contracts are exchanged. Christ, it takes an eternity to sell or buy a house and that can be for under 100 grand with no staff or facilities or liabilites or sponsors etc involved. I'm sure we will hear something very soon and, assuming there's nothing dodgy in the books, it should be good news: then all systems go!

Agree4 Disagree0

Nothing to do with the takeover at all, it's due diligence that is making it take so long.

Agree3 Disagree1

Says on twitter that forest will give trials to 3 players currently playing in Kuwait.
Firas al khatib and Omar al soma both Syrian strikers and ibrahima Keita an Ivorian midfielder. Not quite the international players I was hoping for! {Ed034's Note - Being said by who?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Ryan (@RyanWZRD)
Posted Thursday 5th July 2012 from Twitlonger

There you go ed {Ed034's Note - Cheers. I've never heard of him, so it's hard to judge if he knows anything or is just looking for more followers

Agree0 Disagree1

Yawn.. boring ...boring. Twitter = kleg nuts.

Agree2 Disagree1

Plausable we'd look at players in the middle east, firas al khatib's scoring record looks very impressive at club level and interantional, so maybe it could be a goer

Agree0 Disagree1

If you check fawazs tweets from the other night hd goes on about some keita guy not honouring an agreement, the boy may be speaking some truth here!

Agree0 Disagree0

Freeking Kleg nuts! I love it!

forest will try and sign scott loach for 500k

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Should have sold Camp when he was worth something, after his good season, after last season what is his value now? {Ed034's Note - I don't think there was many forest fans saying we should have sold him last summer. Funny how these things can change

Agree3 Disagree4

Tom Heatons better than Loach... And Heatons been released!

Agree1 Disagree2

How could we have forseen a bad season? Camps value was expectedto grow as we put in another bid for the prem... its all well and good being captain hindsight but i bet you'd have been furious if he had been sold then

Agree4 Disagree2

Camp had a rough season but he didnt have an exceptional defence infront of him last season... we were out of sorts

Agree3 Disagree1

Out if sorts? Understatement of the year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Campy is class you shouldnt judge him by one dodgy season everyone was dodgy that season, class they say is permanant and he`s got it so lets have LEE CAMP IS A FOREST FAN LEE CAMP IS A FOREST..............................

Agree2 Disagree3

Who were the prem club wanting to buy him 2010/2011 when he wanted to go.
Camp was not happy, were performances affected by that. {Ed034's Note - Swansea

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed034 - I was saying we should have sold Camp at the end of last season. His form dropped off massively after Christmas and the odd wonder save (granted) didn't really make up for his shocking distribution, complete lack of kicking and those times where he went walk about (going up for the corner against Swansea for example)

As soon as there was decent interest we should've got as much as possible. This is the problem at forest over recent years - fans moan when clubs are linked with our players, then moan when those players go for nothing! 2m made in transfers for The likes of Perch and Bamford but nothing for Commons, Wilson, Earnshaw, Anderson and now Chambers.

Agree1 Disagree1

We are going to sign Tommy Lee from Chesterfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Loach is apparently wanted by ipswich

Couple of middle eastern newspapers/websites reporting that Fawaz will sign contracts next Thursday when his holiday in Italy has finished.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Nope end of dis week well no on the offical web!!

Agree3 Disagree1

I heard diffrent it could break down!!

Agree3 Disagree7

What a load of rubbish. we have a squad of about 8 and your telling me he is gonna sit on a beach in Italy til next thursday.

Agree7 Disagree0

I posted about the newspapers. This is the link : al-seyassah.com/AtricleView/ta… alanba.com.kw/ar/sport-news/… Use Google Chrome and it will be able to translate.

It says in the post and a few people have said on twitter (I know lol) that it will be announced Monday here's hoping

robert earnshaw will be playing for forest again next season.

Believable6 Unbelievable22

Who testimonial will he play in ?

Agree8 Disagree1

Why bother post rubbish?

Agree9 Disagree1

Hes past it

Agree9 Disagree1

It would be good if he did, I still remember the day at the sheep

Agree8 Disagree3

Earnie will go elsewhwere

Agree3 Disagree2

I thought we were going forward not backwards!
We need the next Jordan Rhodes before his price rockets not an energetic bench warmer!

Agree9 Disagree0

And why do you think did didnt play for cardiff ? his football days are coming to an end

Agree6 Disagree0

In january there were rumours he was to be sold to an MLS franchise

Can't see earnie staying at a challenging championship team. more likely to head to a championship league one yoyo club IMO . Peterborough or maybe even a team like Coventry in a bid to return to the champ

Agree0 Disagree0

John Carew rumours on twitter, personally wouldn't have him

Agree3 Disagree0

If we got earnie on loan or free id go for it, knows where the goal is, no matter how old he gets in the box he'll be dangerous

Agree2 Disagree1

Sorry Earnie is history.Move on.

Rumours are circulating on other pages that Anthony Gerrard is coming to Forest and before anyone says it I know nothing can happen tis the T/O is complete and because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean the T/O isn't complete.

RG09

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Is that the same Gerrard that Blackburn are after. That's him not at Forest next year!

Agree1 Disagree2

By time t/o is complete all forests targets will be at other clubs

Agree8 Disagree1

That's what I originally thought but then saw that so I'm not sure, just a rumour but money talks so it could potentially happen...who knows!

RG09

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you forgotten Blackburn are in our league now no better then anyone else

Just heard Wayne Bridge to Nottingham Forest

Believable13 Unbelievable20

Where?

Agree4 Disagree3

No, mate. You can take Trent Bridge or Lady Bay Bridge to Nottingham Forest.

Agree11 Disagree4

I don't want Wayne Bridge he aint been the same since John Terry had a liaison with his partner. Didn't seem to have any real ambition to play again till he signed for Sunderland on loan!

Agree4 Disagree5

Rather have elokobi

Agree10 Disagree4

I'd rather have Lady Bay bridge.

Agree5 Disagree2

10k a week is our salary absolute upper limit, so unless Bridge is happy to sign for this...

Agree2 Disagree0

Bridge has been linked to Brighton?

Agree2 Disagree1

Best thing about wayne bridge in nottingham would be that tart from the saturdays being around he city ;)

Agree3 Disagree0

Forest to pay 10k a week and City to stump up the rest on a season long loan to Brighton

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Jul 2012 14:50:55
I have just heard that Roque Santa Cruz and Wayne Bridge will be signing for Forest for a combined fee of £3,000,000 as Man City try and slash the wage bill. This solves the left back and striker problems as i believe that they will both be of the highest quality in the championship next season!

Believable6 Unbelievable17

How good would that be!

Agree8 Disagree5

Roque sant cruz? no chance!

Agree8 Disagree10

Bridge is useless, all hes done is sit on his money for 3 years, not wanting to go out and play for most of that time

Agree9 Disagree7

So whers the money comimg from, not taken over yet {Ed034's Note - I am sure sc is talking potential targets and clubs

Agree2 Disagree4

Haven't they been released?

Agree1 Disagree2

No thanks to both. Bridge is past it. Santa Cruz never was that good. He had one outstanding season at Blackburn but that's it. His record otherwise is very average.

We don't need to be paying high wages for players like that. Get hungry players who want to improve and succeed, not players who are on the decline.

Agree5 Disagree1

Both would get into lower Prem teams and wouldn't bother with Championship.

RG09

Agree1 Disagree1

So now we have money, al Hasawi will spend them on rubbish players? Get real, mate

Agree2 Disagree0

05 Jul 2012 14:26:25
Manchester City have released Wayne Bridge the biggest interest is from nottingham forest and he said he will take a look at the contract offer and see if the money is right.

Believable4 Unbelievable14

More likely he'll go to a team in the Prem or head state side for bigger money.

RG09

Agree7 Disagree0

Still would rather have cunningham... the fact he is deciding wether the moneys right says it all

Agree4 Disagree2

Cunningham gone to bristol city 4 yr deal

Agree8 Disagree0

'If the money is right'
Not 'if the team is right' or 'the club is good and ambitious', not 'I like Forest' but only 'If the money is right'.
Would rather have somebody who is motivated by football and hungry for success.

Agree6 Disagree0

He can join as long as he brings his missus with him!

Agree5 Disagree0

Forest will be cunningham first choice IF TAKEOVER COMPLETE VERY SOON {Ed034's Note - Cunningham has signed for Bristol city

Agree4 Disagree2

05 Jul 2012 14:23:46
Joel Lynch to sign a new deal worth 12k a week for three years

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Again source? or just your opinion?

Agree3 Disagree1

I really hope I love Lynchie

Agree4 Disagree0

05 Jul 2012 14:23:36
Sean St Ledger of Leicester has held contract talks with Nottingham Forest officials about a possible move, with forest seeking a new CB, with Lasceilles being cover.

Believable1 Unbelievable8

St Ledger is not good enough and was poor in the Euros. Also, check out Big Ron Manager on youtube, and it's clear he has an attitude problem

Agree3 Disagree0

Did anyone come out of that documentary well?

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2012 14:22:40
Even after newspaper reports (NottinghamPost) Elokobi WILL NOT be signing, hoowever Guedioura will, in a deal worth up to £1mill

Believable6 Unbelievable5

How dya know?

Agree2 Disagree1

05 Jul 2012 14:16:20
Adam Le Fondre -£3.5mil
Barry Bannan - Seasonlong loan
Max Gradel - £2.5mil

Believable5 Unbelievable9

05 Jul 2012 14:15:15
McGoldrick and Greening to Brighton for Will Buckley in return.
Adam Le Fondre for £3.5mil once take over is sorted, as Reading are willing to business after the sale ofGareth McCleary.

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Rubbish, mcleary wasn't sold, his contract ended

Agree5 Disagree3

Far too much money.

Agree1 Disagree0

roy keane to take over as boss in the next 48 hrs.

Believable1 Unbelievable17

I hope not. He has been a disaster in management.

Agree14 Disagree2

Haha keep em coming! Love it!

Agree7 Disagree4

Source?

Agree0 Disagree2

Good reason why this is rubbish. The takeover is to be announced on Monday from good sources, in 48 hours it'll be a Saturday. So we're officially bringing in a manager BEFORE the new owners are officially announced?

Agree0 Disagree1

Which Club

Agree0 Disagree2

Which club? Well............... I'd guess Forest, considering what site this is maybe....

Agree2 Disagree0

I heard Rafa Benitez is interested in moving to Forest if the money is right

Agree1 Disagree4

05 Jul 2012 13:21:30
There's rumours gathering fast on twitter that they have pulled out of the T/O of Nottingham Forest after finding (or not finding) important financial documentation.

REAL FTID {Ed034's Note - Which sources?? I have looked at the people I follow, who are always spot on with what is said and have always broken stories before they are officially out and there is nothing

Believable2 Unbelievable14

More like rumours being made up by derby fans, get a grip.

Agree12 Disagree0

1 person kept tweeting that he had heard the takeover had fallen through, fraid not...

Agree4 Disagree2

Really wouldn't suprise me but i'm not too worried though. I did find the statement strange on Skysports saying that they still 'REMAIN' interested.

Just seems a weird thing to say when we are all led to believe its a done deal?!

Maybe i'm reading too much into it or maybe i've just been a Forest fan for too long!

Finger + everything crossed for the next few days.

Agree3 Disagree1

Have Derby fans not got anything better to do?

Agree4 Disagree1

Been watching SSN and can't find anything to do with Forest, lets all hope it goes through and we can become the Forest we all remember.

Agree5 Disagree1

Take over done most ppl on twitter says monday we will know

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice try Derby fan, go and cry yourself to sleep because you've sold your best CB and are set to replace him with a CB from Port Vale. !

Agree4 Disagree1

Fawaz's wife on twiiter and a few contacts of my own have confirmed takeover is done remember last week i was the 1 that said this time next week we will b rich even a couple of players are confident of promotion already so they know what is going off

Agree1 Disagree1

05 Jul 2012 13:31:37
luke varney says he wants to leave Portsmouth and that he hopes to complete a move by the start of next week, (source: sky sports) the takeover is suppost to be announced early next week as well, just putting 2 and 2 together here but it could be forest

Believable3 Unbelievable5

I thought the same thing when i rad that about Varney

Agree0 Disagree2

I also thought the same. I don't rate him don't score enough

Agree2 Disagree0

See below - @backpage - reports suggest he will snub Forest and go to Leeds.

No great loss!

Agree3 Disagree0

Obviously got his head srewed on, no competition

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Jul 2012 12:33:59
I have been told Forest have out of contract players that will be training with us. Can we check out the training ground when they start pre season. Might give us a better idea who
what to expect. I was also told that there have been no offers for any players & as far as my contact at the city ground was aware the has been no contact between the proposed new owners & anyone at the club.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

ED
BBC website?
Whats going on about another interested part given exclusivity?
My speakers on my work PC dont work very well and i cant hear what is being said in a video interview? {Ed034's Note - It sounds like the was another bidder who was very close, for whatever reason they didn't complete the deal and the new bidder are now in the pole position. He is under the impression that the other bidder was in the 'exclusivity' period, but this is not something he knows for definite and this bidder may step in if the current group do not complete in time

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed....Was there something about the other bidder not being able to come up with the Due Dilligence (coming up with the reddies) at one stage?
IERM {Ed034's Note - It just says he presumes they couldn't complete the deal in the time they got given

Agree0 Disagree0

What players are training with Forest ?

Agree0 Disagree0

So is this al-hasawi then?

Agree1 Disagree1

I have no idea what Boateng's situation is at forest but Pep just tweeted him this..

Adlene GUEDIOURA ‏@AdleneGUEDIOURA
@george1boateng thanks Mon Ami, hope you well ? I want to tan to be like you . See you when i come back ;-)

I know there's a lot a speculation but this sounds promising.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

See you when he is back off his holiday probably.

Agree4 Disagree1

Hes somewhere in asia i think like taiwan, when he gets back couuld mean to england plsu boateng is out of contract therefore left the club

TRENT RED

Agree2 Disagree0

It is because adlene guidioura is not in the country at this present time

Agree2 Disagree0

Not really, Boateng is on his way out and he's got his coaching badges now.

Agree1 Disagree0

Back into the country he means............................................

Agree0 Disagree2

This doesn't mean anything. Besides, Boateng has already left Forest

Agree1 Disagree0

Looks positive

hes been getting a great reception on twitter

Agree0 Disagree0

It was the ;) face that intrigued me about the tweet. Maybe Boateng is still based in Nottingham, just wishful thinking...

Agree1 Disagree0

Pep has been in bali...posted pics of himself surfing earlier this week.

the wink is encouraging...boateng is looking to renegotiate a player/coach deal.

Agree1 Disagree1

Cotterills primary target for once the takeover has been completed:
As many of you already know a bid of 1.25m for elokobi and guedioura has been made no reponse has yet been given by wolves
Jordan rhodes is another target for cotterill for around the 2m mark with either derbyshire or mcgoldrick as part of the deal
Wooton on a season long loan
Cotterill has also made enquiries about 2 wolves players mills and kightly, danny rose(loan), Lloyd doyley and zakulani(spelling) from peterborough

Believable1 Unbelievable7

What waffle. There has been no bids made for anybody.Nothing more than a piece in the NEP. As for Rhodes 2 million? At least 2 prem clubs have offered double that and been knocked back. Rose is a trouble maker and that is nothing more than your wishlist.

Agree3 Disagree0

Rhodes won't happen unless we go spectacularly OTT on a bid. McGoaldrought was in his last year (I think?) so I think he's been released and Derbyshire we'd be lucky to get 400/500k for. So 2.5 million for Rhodes? We'd have to treble it before Huddersfield consider it.

Agree2 Disagree2

I reckon Grant McCann from Peterborough would be a good signing, him and George Boyd are transfer listed cuz they don't wanna extend their stay

Agree1 Disagree2

SC still on Holls and not due bck till monday.

Agree0 Disagree0

George Boyd stated publicly when p'boro beat us last season that he is glad he did not move to Forest on a perm basis. Who would want this long-haired yeti after saying that?? {Ed034's Note - To be fair what else would you expect him to say?? He's a good player but we have a similar one in Reid and we need different. For me we have to look at at least two wingers, with pace, that will frighten full backs

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2012 10:39:59
seen on twitter and this is bristol that cunningham is signing for bristol city.
are we letting these players because we have bigger and better lined up? i know the takeover is not yet finalised but surely we could put offers on the table to stop players we want signing for other clubs.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

With other clubs being in a position to finalise deals we are losing out. We need to start acting soon or we will be left with the dregs

Agree3 Disagree3

THE CLUB CANNOT PROCEED WITH ANYTHING UNTIL THE NEW OWNERS ARE SORTED

Agree5 Disagree1

Be careful what you wish for! I wouldn't be too fussed about losing out on some of these potential targets. If these new owners have as much money as everybody thinks then I would anticipate a couple of big signings as a message of intent to the fans and other clubs out there. Maybe even break our transfer record!

Agree1 Disagree1

We've not been taken over yet remember.

Agree2 Disagree0

What is our transfer record? {Ed034's Note - Van Hooijdonk 4.5m

Agree0 Disagree0

ED Van hooijdonk never got to that 4.5 million mark. Celtic got an extra 500k on top of either 3m or 3.5m initial fee {Ed034's Note - a few sites says this amount, a couple say 4.8 and one says 5.5m.
I seem to remember it being more than 3.5m

Agree1 Disagree1

05 Jul 2012 09:41:30
Kevin Davies fore £2.5 million
Rising 15 year old lad Joe Worrall breaking through to the first team

Believable8 Unbelievable8

This will Not happen in a million years, this rumour has been on here before! As I stated then and will again now, Very Poor goal scoring record, doesn't make many assists and had the worst discipline record in the Prem! Fact.
He would be a Terrible buy plus he's about 33/34?

FTID

Agree7 Disagree5

It's nice to see cotterill working with future stars in the academy

Agree7 Disagree2

These rising stars in the academy are just being farmed to be sold to prem clubs. They will not benefit Forest on the field but will benefit us financially.

Agree2 Disagree2

How can young players benefit forest financially now the champ clubs have agreed to take the prem money upfront and sell the raw talent for pennies?
Prem can now cherry pick anyone they want for about 60k total!!

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2012 09:26:15
On twitter (@backpage) Portsmouth striker Luke Varney will reject a move to Nottingham Forest and join Leeds United for £300,000

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Good. Hes not good enough to wear the red shirt

RedRich

Agree12 Disagree3

Thank god!! he's rubbish and a sheep reject..not wanted at the cg

Agree9 Disagree1

Sheep rejects have a habbit of scoring for us against the sheep.
earnie, tuds ;)
