Anderson has stalled on his move to Blackpool (maybe hoping to stop at the reds after a takeover?) source is Blackpool gazette also according to talknffc the offer is very poor from Bfc

Believable14 Unbelievable3

I'd pack his bags for him, if he didnt want to go he should'nt have had talks with them! err sign's

Agree8 Disagree7

Blackpool will be serious promotion contenders next season if they keep holloway. God knows why they want Anderson to go and warm the reserves bench for them

Agree8 Disagree3

Anderson move off as takeover imminent

Agree1 Disagree4

I would have thought more likely the move would be on if the takeover was imminent!
He's not going because Blackpool offered him peanuts, Purely financial decision by the player/agent

I've just seen lewismgugan and he reckons the new owners will release a press conference in Friday. Olie gunner solqire is going to be the new manager hence why he didn't take the villa job. Watch this space folks.......

Believable2 Unbelievable20

The same lewis on that's on twitter who been out of the uk and wants information on forest

Agree10 Disagree1

These rumours keep on getting more and more laughable

Agree10 Disagree1

Fawaz al-Kasawi is apparently the owner of NFFC according to Wiki

Agree4 Disagree12

Was you at the airport he has just landed at nobody at forest has a clue my info alone comes from arab translation

Agree1 Disagree6

Don't these promising rumours come up every year after the season..... and so far the past two have ended up well below any rumours announced....lets not get the hopes up... there's more chance of England winners the Euros than any of this mumbo jumbo.... {Ed034's Note - I don't think we've had takeover rumours like this before, but I may be wrong

Agree1 Disagree5

Yeah but if you look on Wiki it says the manager is John Spooner :L whoever the hell he is...

Agree2 Disagree2

Its hasawi not kasawi good old wiki goons

Agree4 Disagree0

Don't go onto Wiki it can be changed easily

Agree3 Disagree0

Olie gunner solqire? what a spelling? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will never say yes to Forest. He just turned down an offer from Aston Villa for family reasons. He wants to live in Norway

Agree6 Disagree1

Anyone can edit wiki, if you read the complete article it also said that the wait for a new owner continues after the death of Nigel Doughty

make of it as you wish

Talk Forest ‏@talkNFFC
I understand a bank agreement (with ND's estate) has been agreed with a buyer. Whom I don't know, basically a take over has been agreed..

Believable3 Unbelievable5

James henry cross called it first.

Agree3 Disagree2

Every journo in christendom knew about it at the same time. These things don't leak by accident. Cross is just some posh nobber who likes to talk the talk.

Agree5 Disagree2

Apparently some nffc employees were brought into the loop yesterday, hence the explosion in information.

Agree2 Disagree2

This is what I have heard and hence Ando move OFF!

Agree1 Disagree3

Talk Forest is rubbish, blatant copy of James Cross news that he said hours earlier, and TF said he didn't follow him, when he did.

I don't trust what he says, do trust Cross though, Fourth Official said he was trustworthy.

forest takeover is nearly complete you will hear something by the end of this week :)

Believable13 Unbelievable10

No take over, no money.I don't think that the kuwaiti will takeover the club!

Agree5 Disagree11

You never know

Agree5 Disagree2

Redundant reply... have you ever heard of negative solutions? if you refute an argument without basis or a solution it is pointless

Agree3 Disagree2

What kit maker will forest have next season? Adidas?

Agree5 Disagree4

Yes it is

Agree3 Disagree4

Will VC still sponsor them?

Agree3 Disagree2

I hope it is a kappa kit as they are quite nice,

Agree4 Disagree6

It's umbro iv been to the club shop today and the women in there said hundreds of people have asked if it is Adidas and it isnt

Agree3 Disagree3

From what I have been told it will be VC yes

Agree2 Disagree1

Ok thanks

Agree1 Disagree0

Sponsor will not be VC. His Twitter account earlier this week said the 3 yr deal has finished

Announcement tonight on east midlands news. New owners will be verified tonight along with this season's budget for player. Steve cotterill under immediate pressure as he will be judged on the first 6 games. Exciting times, you reds.

Believable3 Unbelievable14

Rubbish.

Agree7 Disagree2

So the likes of Sky, Talksport and 5live won't have the story then?!? Hard to believe but I'll wait and see.....

Agree5 Disagree2

Where have you heard that? I drove past the CG at 3.30 and there was no activity at all

Agree4 Disagree0

Well theres nothing on emt! why am i not surprized.....

Agree4 Disagree0

Thats strange then as no news on emt apart from no takeover this week.
got to love this rumours site

Agree3 Disagree0

Reporter on east mids today said there will be no news on forest this week! goes to show you that people on here make up complete lies!

Agree4 Disagree0

So much for the announcement on east midlands news! Rumblings, watch this space!

Agree3 Disagree0

You lie you lie

Agree2 Disagree0

Bet your not very good at Cluedo.

Unfortunately the press conference has been delayed until tomorrow. Fawaz al-Hasawi was keen to conclude business today as Thursday and Friday are days of rest, but the final process has taken longer than first thought.

Steve Cotterill will remain as manager and has already been told that he will have around £25m to spend to get Forest into the Premier League, on the condition that he takes a look at some of the talent back in Kuwait.

Believable9 Unbelievable13

And then he woke up !!!

Agree13 Disagree3

How do u know this

Agree7 Disagree1

BORING!!

Agree8 Disagree3

I don't see SC being in charge if this goes ahead. Lot of takeovers like to start afresh and we'll have enough money to chuck him off (Touch wood). I reckon by the interviews we'll end up getting Warnock if it happens, which I would be delighted with.

Agree3 Disagree6

You really are buying into this Warnock thing are you, Farwaz has no money and no credibility - Warnock will get funds from Leeds own takeover so will not walk.

Agree4 Disagree3

'You really are buying into this Warnock thing are you, Farwaz has no money and no credibility - Warnock will get funds from Leeds own takeover so will not walk.'

What, and Bates is going to give him money this year? Leeds aren't being taken over anyway, for the millionth time they only want an investor. Bates will only sell Leeds for 80 million.

Agree3 Disagree3

Seriously Leeds fans, go back to your own site. Surprised you want to be any where near us after the 7-3 demolition.

Agree8 Disagree2

I posted this earlier today, but it is so far down the postings and I feel it is more suitable for these recent postings. There were rumours that potential buyers are looking abroad for the manager (although, if it is Fawaz - sources implied it would be an English coach/manager, but not sure if he said that, or a journalist - can anyone confirm which? it would make a difference to the speculation) - As I posted last week - Luiz Felipe Scolari had two periods of managing the Kuwaiti team, Al Qadisiya where the Chairman was Fawaz al-Hasawi, until he recently resigned.
Scolari is a big fan of Nottingham Forest, according to his profile 'He is also known to have a particular passion for English club Nottingham Forest, whose stylish football he followed as they twice conquered Europe under the legendary Brian Clough' - Could they bring Scoleri in? His profile is fairly impressive - until Chelsea! Doubt very much they would keep SC.

Agree4 Disagree3

Only 25 mil thought he was loaded this bloke? that lottery winner in Long Eaton has got more than that! {Ed034's Note - How much do you think a new owner would out in for transfers?? I'd be happy if he said 5m, never mind 25m

Agree5 Disagree0

'Only 25 mil thought he was loaded this bloke? that lottery winner in Long Eaton has got more than that!'

Are you actually serious? A football owner doesn't put all his money into transfers! That's like saying the Man City owners are only worth 100 million because that's their budget! I'd happily take five million like Ed said.

Agree5 Disagree1

Friday and Saturday are the days off in the middle east usually. Sorry

Agree4 Disagree1

Thursday and Friday days off in middle east. I used to live in UAE.

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm sure championship clubs are only allowed to spend up to 6 million

Agree1 Disagree2

Why do any of you read this site when you criticise everything put on it?

Agree2 Disagree0

Wonder who keeps disagreeing with my Leeds comment... Hmmm Leeds fans maybe?! Anyway you can keep Warnock as we're only used to calling him a derogatory term. Plus he looks like an old woman. Again 7-3, now jog on!

James Henry Cross‏@SportsAgentJHC

Yes as close as we have ever been. Not there yet, but hugely positive steps. No problems

The above sounds about as positive as weve heard yet? Any thoughts ED? {Ed034's Note - it sounds very positive, but so has a lot of similar posts. i also do not know how reliable this guy is, but will do some investigation into him

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Investigated yet Ed? {Ed034's Note - Yes and he seems to be on the money most of the time. He doesn't however say what is actually going off though

According to reports on Twitter Mark Arthur has stood down. Some good news at last forest fans. {Ed034's Note - which twitter reports?

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Whats mark arthurs twitter

Agree2 Disagree3

Marthur has unfortunately not stood down i made a joke of franks so called statement and called it a carlsberg tweet

Agree1 Disagree1

Until its at least on Sky Sports News don't hold ya breath!

Agree1 Disagree1

What is twitter?

Agree2 Disagree1

Its a place where sad little nerds spend their days....

Agree5 Disagree1

Or you are just old and struggle to use technology. {Ed003's Note - Yep}

Agree1 Disagree1

That would have been the best forest news in 20 years if mark arthur had stood down.

Agree0 Disagree1

Did you tweet that as you posted it? Sad...some people have lives.

Agree0 Disagree0

Most celebrity's and footballers use twitter.

Breaking News: Reliable sources on twitter had stated there was going to be negative news regarding the takeover today or tomorrow..... however, the original statement has now been cancelled due to some good news.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

The news was meant to be bad its a good thing they cancelled it.

Agree3 Disagree4

Why dont the bbc say it then

Agree0 Disagree4

It mentioned incomings not takeovers.

Agree1 Disagree4

06 Jun 2012 12:48:54
At least one NEP journalist now tweeting that planned statement will not now happen.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Heard this too, although it is the NEP. :/

The statement Frank Clark will be making is that they have sold Paul Anderson, the club are know where near a deal being done, utter tosh, but this is a rumour site, so what a great rumour.

AC

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Absolute bull, chairmen dont make special public statements about selling players..

Agree2 Disagree1

Why would he would make a statement about a rubbish player, maybe its a leavers doo

Agree3 Disagree1

Hardlly likely that Frank Clark would make a statement that a free agent player has been sold as clearly they can't sell him - to get a fee we had to offer him a contract with no worse terms than his expiring one and him refuse it. Get your facts somewhere near!

Agree2 Disagree3

You just mugged yourself off. We are to get compensation for him as he is under 24 yrs of age so you get your facts right. {Ed034's Note - that's only if we have offered him the same terms as his previous contract, which i don't believe we have

Agree0 Disagree2

Now whos mugged themselves off?!

Agree1 Disagree1

No one else is around at the City Ground to make the statement

Agree1 Disagree1

No one would make a statement about Ando being sold. And he can go for free if we don't offer him the same or better terms. We will get compo ONLY if we do and someone else wants him and he goes as he's U24 so Bosman does not apply.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love it when people sound off about getting facts right only to be WRONG!

Agree1 Disagree0

We wont get compensation as we have not offered him a contract. to get compensation for a player under 24 he has to reject the offer of a fresh contract. {Ed034's Note - That's what I said lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Mugged yourself off????

have we a sudden influx of west ham fans?

Fawaz al-Hasawi has completed his takeover of Nottingham Forest and will be taking a press conference this afternoon at 3pm with Frank Clark. Mark Arthur will be leaving the club with immediate effect and Frank Clark's role will change to Director of Football.

Believable6 Unbelievable12

God I wish this was true!

Agree6 Disagree2

If carlsberg did rumours...

Agree6 Disagree3

Where u heard this

Agree0 Disagree3

Statement cancelled , it was thought to divulge that the doughty estate would only back forest until the end of the month, but as a buyout is imminent, it was stopped and further comments would be made at a later date...

Agree4 Disagree3

I wish it was that easy got loads more waiting to do yet before he can takeover.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lovely thinking, wish it was true.

Agree1 Disagree1

Its 3.00 now so obviously bull

Agree1 Disagree3

there will be no takeover today or this week. everyone is getting excited because some wally said it would happen wednesday which is a rumour of a rumour.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

No mate, it's because Nottingham post journalists John percy and Paul Taylor (who have obvious close links to Nottingham forest) have said they have been told by the club that frank Clark is making a statement this afternoon

Agree2 Disagree2

The statement has been cancelled. The statement wasn't going to be good news anyway, so all this talk about it being about confirmation of the takeover is wrong! People making assumptions again

Agree0 Disagree1

The statement has been cancelled mate

Agree0 Disagree1

Do you actually think journalists know anything seriously....why would they be given information that only people within the club know. their job is to spread news so why anyone high up at forest would tell them any plans is beyond me

Agree1 Disagree2

Percy and Taylor may have links with Forest, but that doesn't mean they know anything about the takeover, club don't know either.

Agree1 Disagree1

I have links with forest just like everyone else on here doesnt mean we know anything so why is it certain the percy pig and the other geezer do

Agree0 Disagree2

The one of the comments above, I ask you, how do you have a press conference without press?

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Jun 2012 11:28:24
Just heard forest will be making an announcement on the takeover today

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Deffo Today??, Where have you heard this?

Agree2 Disagree1

Nottingham post journos are tweeting it

Agree1 Disagree2

All over twitter (and I do know this means it isnt necessarily fact) and a host of journalists and agents etc claim a statement is imminent. Can't find anything official though...

Agree1 Disagree1

Forest will not be brought out 2day infancy it gonna take to the season starts to get taking over the talks r way off in an agreement

Agree2 Disagree3

Its all over twitter that its today or tomorrow, prob no more than a rumour :(

Agree1 Disagree1

John Percy and Paul Taylor, both Nottingham post journos are tweeting it lads, if anyones gonna know first then it's them

Agree0 Disagree3

Last week they both said there was no truth in the takeover rumours...

Agree2 Disagree1

06 Jun 2012 11:07:48
Can't say how i know
Offers have been made for Nottingham Forest.
However Seymour Pierce have been asked to get the best possible price for the owners. This is part of a process that needs to be followed & will take time to look at all offers & to negotiate the best deal for the owners. No time limit has been placed at this point in time so this could go on for some time yet. I just hope that the well being of the clubs future is part of the requirements & not just the price. We might be lucky & it gets sorted out quickly, but when money is involved it can take a lot of time. But there are offers on the table.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

06 Jun 2012 11:07:18
Frank Clark due to make a statement today or tomorrow according to a couple of Journos.
Believe them if you will and who knows if true what the statement will be about?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

06 Jun 2012 11:05:58
sick to death of hearing about about a takeover by every other person on forbes list of billionaires, we know something is happened because the board has refused to comment, and the board dont do that unless something is happening, so have some patience, nffc fan for life

Believable6 Unbelievable1

That John Percy dude reckons Frank Clark will issue a statement either today or tomorrow

Agree5 Disagree2

06 Jun 2012 11:03:55
Forest will be bought by individuals connected with the Kuwati Royal Family.. Managers job may be going to another but this is not confirmed yet. Delay is down to the conditions of the Doughty Legacy, ensuring his youth development policies are maintained..
Ill let you know when I have more.. WBD

Believable7 Unbelievable4

And your source is?
Pretty sick of people just posting anything on here without a single shred of evidence or source to back it up.
If it is a rumour then you must have heard it from someone so share that info and maybe we may then believe you?

Agree3 Disagree0

Source was a Forest player(not Forest Player), i cant be specific as like all these things when your told something its in confidence. He may not tell me anything again. I have not and will not post false info though. WBD

Agree2 Disagree1

No just utter fantasy....

Agree0 Disagree0

Once the takeover is confirmed by Nottingham Forest, their first signings will be Maynard and Bamford in on loan and a offer of 600k for a player they had on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers but it hasn't been confirmed which one yet and also they will once again show interest in signing Peter Whittington from Cardiff CIty in a player cash deal with Chambers going the other way, and there is a rumour being put about that they would like to re-sign Kelvin Wilson from Celtic {Ed034's Note - Chambers is a free agent and I can only see whittingham going to someone like west ham, Swansea etc. I also do not see the point in signing bamford. He didn't want to stay in January, so why would we want him back now??? Better proven players out there

Believable2 Unbelievable11

A cash deal with a free agent:)
not the smartest of people obviously....

Agree2 Disagree2

His name is Whittingham! He is worth 3million plus and will play in the prem and not the lower end of the championship.

Agree3 Disagree2

Well 600k aint going to buy either of the players we had on loan from wolves , so thats a load of chicken!

Agree5 Disagree0

Nottingham forest are trying to persuade wolves to let them buy adlene Guediora. {Ed034's Note - wouldn't surprise me at all. he was an inspired signing by sc

Agree6 Disagree0

Forest are also trying to buy coppinger of doncaster rovers.

Agree3 Disagree3

Wilson will never come. If we don't sign players we will be in league 1 next season.

Agree6 Disagree2

Wolves would have to be absolutely insane to sell Guedioura for 600k.

Agree5 Disagree1

Wolves let him go out on loan last season so have proved their insanity once so guess there is still a chance to grab Adlene!

Agree3 Disagree2

They were in Prem then and it was McCarthy who is now gone. They have seen what he can do in Championship and will keep him or sell for a decent price. Having said that he only has 1 year left on contract.

Agree1 Disagree1

Why wouldn't wilson come back to Forest, he's a Nottm Lad & Fiance from Nottm, I work with a relative of his!

Agree1 Disagree1

He will not come as we do not ahve the money. {Ed034's Note - The original post says when the takeover happens. When it does, we will have money

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jun 2012 22:43:35
Just heard Nathan Tyson is coming back to forest, the new owners rated him the previous seasons and reckons he'll get us promotion. Can't say who new owners are yet, my hands are tied but they have money to spend

Believable1 Unbelievable11

Are u the joker in disguise

Agree3 Disagree3

Comedy at it bests.

Agree3 Disagree3

Stop telling porkies and who would want tyson? i think your a derby fan

Agree3 Disagree2

If they have money to spend they wouldn't go buy Tyson

Agree4 Disagree1

Maybe they are investing in new physios, and want to re-sign Tyson to keep them busy?

Agree4 Disagree0

Your hands should be tied (in a straight jacket) your clearly out your tree id say one on the first to know BEFORE WE DO will be victor chandler so surely look for a change in promotion odds on their site?

Agree2 Disagree0

If you are going to make stuff up at least make it a tiny little bit plausible-like the new owners will bring back our most successful manager of the recent era?

Agree0 Disagree3

Forest may not get the kuwaiti billionaire as he looks to buy over LEEDS UNITED.

Agree0 Disagree3

Tyson scored 9 league goals in 4 seasons in the championship.( all goals for Forest ) He has now turned 30 He is injury prone & getting well paid by Derby for scoring 0 goals. WHY ON EARTH WOULD FOREST want an expencive non scoring striker on the Forest treatment table next season ?

Agree4 Disagree1

Presuming you mean Calderwood as most successful recent manager, as he achieved promotion for us.?
Davies was quite successful on the pitch but disasterous for the club off it, and as for McLaren well he was cluelessly disasterous both ON and OFF the pitch.

Agree6 Disagree0

Tyson.... If money comes in it willgo on decent, hungry players withdrive and bottle not lightweight, injury prone failures.

Agree3 Disagree0

Your hands are tied ? your a fan how can they be tied

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring back billy davies. He will be the new manager when new owners are announced. Odds are 6/1 on the king billy coming back {Ed034's Note - why do fans not think sc deserves a shot at it?? he did a great job under the circumstances

Agree0 Disagree3

You sad billy lover...no one else in football will touch him, but still you want him to come and share his poison with us again. Get real, and get some moral standards. {Ed034's Note - the guy did a good job, but we now have sc and he deserves to be given a chance to build on the good job he did last season

Agree2 Disagree1

WHAT NEW OWNER?

Agree1 Disagree0
