Also from good source JJ and Tom Huddelston could be making a comeback to the city ground as they are both out of favour at white hart lane

Believable4 Unbelievable15

Well im sure tom huddlestone never played here..... for a start

Agree0 Disagree0

He was in the academy for 5 years actually and was born in Nottingham, Snienton I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Yhup went to my school :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure they have hugh champions league wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Huddlestone never played for Forest. He had Trials at Forest and we turned him down as a school boy then he had trials at Derby and they snapped him up. Hudd;estone isnt out of favour at Spurs. He had along period out with injury last season and only came back towards the end of the season and before he got injured he was exceptional for spurs. Expect him to be in the spurs starting 11 next season Jenas is going to Astin Villa. Get a grip forest fans

Just completed a 24 hour vigil outside the City Ground.

Saw Chris Gunter today who was really upbeat after training. He signed my boys autograph book again.

Says he reckons we are going to spend big in the next week.

Magic

Believable14 Unbelievable3

I hope things look up, if gunts seemed upbeat its a good thing, and the forest website have had a story up with SMc saying he shares the fans fustrations but theyre working hard. i think the next few weeks might be better

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone know's that every forest player always says were gonna splash the cash.

Nottingham Forest looking at a short-term loan deal for out of favour Manchester City striker Jo

Believable11 Unbelievable14

Do people not understand the wages these players are on? {Ed014's Note - clubs do not necessarily pay all the wages during loan deals, you know.}

Agree0 Disagree0

J is an average player at Eastlands, we were paying Boyd 30,000 a week and J is in the 20's..

Agree0 Disagree0

Jo was in the 20s I doubt that very much after costing man c 18 mill an Boyd was free

Agree0 Disagree0

Too high wage and not very good

Wolves expect midfielder David Jones, 26, to join Nottingham Forest

Believable13 Unbelievable1

07 Jul 2011 21:37:08
As a forest fan. I find this a worrying time as we are getting deals rejected from our own players and losing out on all other potential signings. Something must be going wrong upstairs. There was a lack of signings in transfer windows under calderwood davies And now mclaren. Very very worried {Ed014's Note - If you're referring to Rob Earnshaw, then once his contract is finished, he is not Forest's player, so owes no more loyalty to Forest than his hometown club. He was also offered reduced wages, when he was looking to negotiate an increase.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cork signed for southampton .rember you heard it here first.

Agree0 Disagree0

You spanner.. It would be pritty special if cork signed as he just signed a deal with Southampton... Fool if you ain't guna say anything truthful don't say it at all yh?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apart from the fact Cork has signed for Southampton your spot on - oh no sorry you not

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed014's Note - I think that's enough now. Cork signed for Southampton for 750,000 this afternoon. He certainly will not be signing for Forest.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Did i say Jack Cork you MUPPETS Liam Cork Spurs striker scored 13 goals for the reserves last season good prospect. Ha Ha whos laughing now {Ed014's Note - We are, still.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha he makes a good point, he never actually said it was jack cork. I'm pretty sure routledge won't sign tomorow, or anybody for the next week or so. We don't have to panic buy like Leicester and derby. End of.

THESE ARE FACTS CANT QUOTE THE SORCE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.
MOUSI we offered £9000pw SHEEP offered £13000 pw,
LEEDS offered £13000 pw FACT.Hes thinking over the weekend where he should go.
HARGREAVES we cant afford him FESTER offered double what we can stretch to.
HASSLEBANK only here for coaching. He got a groin prob which prevents him playing competative football.
ZENDEN not even in his league.Only west ham and Leicester got the cash for him.

Mac laren looking for FREES in an effort to balance the books a bit better, we are in serious DEBT and we cannot attract any big names FACT.
WE GOT TO LIVE WITH IT AND HOPE MAC CAN GET US IN PLAYOFFS AND WIN THIS TIME ON VERY LIMITED RESOURCES.
WE GOT TO LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD.

D/k a block. real supporters know who i am and these are FACTS

Believable13 Unbelievable24

How the hell do you work out were in debt?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi d/k. is this true, i know you normally spot on.if its true they can go and whistle.im not getting season ticket again, just pick my games. c u in the new tbi (prob Barnsley match)2 c whats what.Take care mate and keep your ear to the ground. Slim Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

Id heard bits about the cash flow a couple of months ago.How the Hell did Dougherty get us in this mess.I know its common knowledge hes into us for 80 mill. debt and looking for a takeover. But what have we got.Not much from players , we rent the ground and owe Donut serious dosh.we need a miracle

Agree0 Disagree0

Great fans you are. Were in debt (according to you) then your 'mate' says he's not getting a season ticket. Surely if were in 'debt' the club will need your money and support. I hope you don't have a season ticket because the club doesn't need supporters like you

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish, u don't know nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish... im sure even doughty and marthur wouldn't continually talk about us being 'ostensibly debt free' ( quote i recall from rogramme notes) so often if it was the case we were near 80 million in the red...and it would be much more publicised if he was trying to jump ship and sell us. BD would have happily revealed that fact im sure...

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of drivel. people like you are an embarassment to the club

Agree0 Disagree0

So why are we being linked with routledge, cork, maynard, sharp ??

I think your telling porkies {Ed016's Note - Cork has joined southampton}

Agree0 Disagree0

It's pretty obvious you are commenting on your own post. No more than one person on this planet can have spelling and grammar like that.

PS there's no way on god's earth that derby are paying anyone 13000pw. They really ARE in serious debt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just found out cork's gone to sunderland...

All i can say is at least were being linked with the right kind of players

Agree0 Disagree0

I think u talking tosh mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed are you mistaken cork has signed for Sunderland according to sky {Ed016's Note - Im a sunderland supporter and Jack cork definitley signed for southampton they just put the wrong name on the website}

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone that always says FACT are just blaggers seeking attention i'm fed up with all these rumours i am after pure simple truths

Agree0 Disagree0

Nigel doughtie said in a public interview tha forest are no where near in debt (an interview before the swansea play-off 1st leg) so stop speaking BS just because we have only signed 1 player, we are only 6 DAYS into the transfer window

Agree0 Disagree0

Apologies ed twitter feed said Sunderland link takes you to article saying saints {Ed016's Note - No Problem mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

FACT WE ARE DOOMED DOOMED DOOMED.WE MAKE BE LINKED WITH MESSI FOR WHAT GOOD IT IS LIKE ALWAYS>WE NEVER GET THESE MADE UP TARGETS>ITS JUST TO KEEP THE BRAIN DEAD HAPPY

Agree0 Disagree0

If you're fed up with rumours you're on the wrong website youth

Agree0 Disagree0

We all know this post is bullcrap because Mousii will only consider Premiership teams even if Derby are offering 13,000 a week Everton and Stoke can afford 30,000+ so why would he turn that down for 13,000 a week?

Agree0 Disagree0

You need to teach your brain how to turn the CAPS lock off.
I suspect your BRAIN DEAD

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure ED will back me up in confirming that the clubs financial records are in the public domain by law. The club is not in debt. {Ed014's Note - The only person Nottingham Forest "owe money to" it the chairman. Forest are not in debt. I think everyone would've heard it by now if Forest were, not from a rumour on here}

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi is nowhere near good enough for the premiership We should be grateful he is out of contract and sign a midfielder that doesn't run around aimlessly like an headless chicken only to get the ball then give it away.

Moussi will be off to whoever offers him the most money - PSG are now interested, alongside the usual suspects. Everton won't pay him as much as Stoke.

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Only in his mind are PSG and premier league clubs interested.

He will either stay or go to another championship club.

Tshabalala will come if SM likes the looks of him, expect a decision in the next two weeks. Kaizer Chiefs would rather not lose him but he wants to move to England with a view to a move to a prem club next year if Forest don't get promoted.

Routledge holding out for QPR interest, will move to Forest if nothing happens on that front.

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Erm.. he turned QPR down about 2 weeks ago. I don't think he'll be holding out for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was cash related - wanted the same daft money he was being paid before - now willing to settle for less.

Agree0 Disagree0

He refused to talk to QPR which is why Newcastle put him on the Transfer list. He's best mates with Dexter so would like to join him at Forest if terms can be agreed.

Mclaren launching bid for shorey
Source-Talksport web page

Believable12 Unbelievable8

07 Jul 2011 17:57:59
Nottingham Forest are poised to make a move for West Brom defender Nicky Shorey.
Shorey, 30, only joined West Brom last summer, but his position at the club has been thrown into question as Roy Hodgson continues to be linked with a move for Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell.

Believable9 Unbelievable6

07 Jul 2011 17:57:44
Forest again linked with Shorey. Talksport said so, it's in Newsnow. Whether that means anything is an entirely different thing altogether. But links aside from this site give hope that the Forest are actually attempting to build, even if news is slow in coming. Time will tell I guess but there's no need to be so downcast. As long as we have a solid team by August 6th, it doesn't really matter how long it takes.

Tom Glick, Chris Cohen & Guy Moussi at a golf course in Derby this morning...

I heard that Derby had approached Moussi but Cohen?

My source... a Derby fan who works at that golf course, so source is questionable. {Ed014's Note - Very, very questionable.}

Believable3 Unbelievable19

Cohen unlikely, still in contract so they'd have to give us plenty of cash

Agree0 Disagree0

You're having your leg pulled.

Agree0 Disagree0

Derby couldn't afford chris Cohen, he's worth at least 4M

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because they are at a golf course in the East Midlands means nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussi is still in france

Agree0 Disagree0

What a tenuous load of rubbish, i used to go over to derby to ride my bike, it didnt mean i was moving there, maybe they wanted to play the course?

Stern John seen in Nottingham today. Heard from a friend working in the club that he is in talks with Forest as McLaren wants some much needed experience to add to his squad. My source is a good one, he knew about the Tudgay, Boyd and Konchesky transfers before they were announced.

I agree it would be a shock, but trust in Steve

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Good international experience imo. wise head and everything

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see it myself. Any other Forest players from 2000 that we could bring back? Is Gareth Williams still playing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not played for a year and he's nearly 35. I hope not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny you should mention Gareth Williams , i was just in the toilets in the rowing club by the city ground and Gareth came in eating a mars bar, he said he was trying to take in some glucose ready for a bleep test or something , then his mobile phone rang and the caller display flashed up "STEVE".

What the f*** is that supposed to say? I'm assuming you're a Leicester fan, in which case it is YOU who will be the laughing stock when Sven fails to take you up

sky sports news-southampton close to winning race for jack cork, even newly promoted teams are beating us to players, this is very depressing

Believable13 Unbelievable6

Routlidge official approach, will he come

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's jack cork ? {Ed008's Note - You don't know who Cork is ? *surprised* he's a centre midfielder rated in the championship plays for Chelsea very good player i would say and would do a good job for Forest if he were to sign.

Agree0 Disagree0

Am not being funny but sky sports news is just like the papers u cant always gaurentee what there saying i think he would pick forest over southampton, just my opinion :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Really...

we have cohen and mcgugan, signing him would surely make him a bench warmer ?

Agree0 Disagree0

HOW DO U NO WE WANT HIM?
{Ed008's Note -Maybe McClaren wants to play 4-3-3 ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Shut up you moaning ar*e...
Start the crying when we're midway through August and still only have 13 out field players

Agree0 Disagree0

We do NOT have 13 outfield players

Gunter, Moloney, Morgan, Chambers, Lynch; McGugan, Majeski, Reid, Anderson, Findlay; Garner, Tudgay, McCleary, Cohen, McGoldrick. That's 15.

Also all the upcoming youth players, some of whom will be in the first team squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont play 4-3-3 with the amount of strikers we have...

unless we ship one or two out

Joe Cole, Seen in nottingham today and is expected to sign a 6 month loan deal looking into extending it to a year, as liverpool will NOT let him go to a division rival in the Premier League

Believable10 Unbelievable14

The sun-west ham looking to take joe cole back home

Agree0 Disagree0

This is complete ramal joe cole will not drop to the championship QPR have shown interest in him, QPR will not be threatening Liverpools position next season. If Joe cole leaves liverpool it will be to a lower premier league club. STOP WISHFUL THINKING WITH THESE BIG NAMES

Agree0 Disagree0

While yes i agree cant see joe cole coming here but makes sense not to send him to another prem side even the lower end teams can have there day and a joe cole goal against liverpool could effect there final league position

Agree0 Disagree0

Again someone somewhere mis read things...Joe Coles going to a prem club (prob QPR) ...its Old King Cole who is coming to the City Ground as a new mascot

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe QPR were looking at Carlton Cole not Joe..

Agree0 Disagree0

Joe cole couldn't score against Liverpool because you cannot play against your parent club

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget it , we couldn't meet his wage demands

why is everyone so negative it annoys the hell out of me (wanted to swear here :D) even happens during games when we pass the ball backwards :O oh no

im pretty confident that earnshaw wouldnt have been allowed to leave if we didnt have a replacement he would have been given a more lucrative contract if not and other signing lined up im sure becaus i believe in my club

YOUUUUUUU REDS (dallo)

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Cept how many times have the Board let us down b4?

Agree0 Disagree0

Earnshaw was out of contract, can do what he wants, we tried to keep him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree 100% i have renewed season ticket but have moved because of some d**khead behind me

i say support your team not slag them off {Ed007's Note - You get them at every ground, some people always find a negative to cling to}

Agree0 Disagree0

Earnie wasn't allowed to leave, he rejected a new contract. I just can't see us spending the 4m talked about to bring maynard in, or even billy sharp for that matter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im glad hes left gives someone else a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Earnie left of his own accord but he wanted more money because he thinks hes good, if we needed to keep him we would have offered him more money surely but im not bothered hes gone just TRUST IN FOREST PLEASE :)

READING ACCEPT 5M BID FROM FESTER 4 MATT MILLS. MORE SIGNS FOREST R BEING LEFT BEHING. IM NOT SAYING WE SHOULD HAVE BID 4 MILLS, BUT LOOK AT THE AMBITION BEING SHOWN BY OTHER CLUBS AND WE R TRYING 2 GET A 35 YEAR OLD FREE TRANSFER Redman

Believable5 Unbelievable5

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING

Agree0 Disagree0

It's because they have more money than us. We don't have some rich Thai owners. I'm sure that some players will b coming in still. Jus because we arent rushing them straight in

Agree0 Disagree0

Fester will come a cropper . and when they do sven will leave cos they will be in so much debt. and they will be no money to spend.

Agree0 Disagree0

If clubs like leicester want to chuck 5m at matt mills then let them. Thats a rediculous price Id glad we haven't bid Fast track to going bust

Agree0 Disagree0

DONT WORRY, MARK ARTHER & PLEAT ARE REALLY TRYING VERY HARD TO SIGN A PLAYER

Agree0 Disagree0

Pointless to spend that sort of money on anyone outside of the top flight and certainly not Mills, who's looked quite ordinary at times lately. If Leicester have that sort of money now then we can't compete and just have to hope they fall flat, as usually happens when Sven starts spending other people's money with no regard for fottballing common sense.

Moussi will stay 1 more year at Forest to see if we get promotion

Reo-Coker expected to complete a move to WBA in the coming days, he has NOT been training with the reds.

Garner + £1.4M to doncastor for the services of Billy Sharpe

Bolo Zenden will come to forest on a 3 year deal plus captaincy, McLaren only willing to offer a 2 year deal and can't gurante captaincy.

Owen Hargreaves will take the trip to Portugal with forest if no other clubs of a higher level offer him a trial/contract

Joey O'Brien of Bolton has been attracting interest from McLaren

Believable12 Unbelievable5

Why would anyone demand the captaincy at at new club? I could see Zenden coming in, maybe for a year. He was still doing a good job in the prem last year.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Hope so, always rated sharp, he is a goal scorer in a poor team and one can only imagine what he could do in a decent team

FOLLOWING the arrival of new manager Steve McClaren at Nottingham Forest, the English Championship club have renewed their bid to sign Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs winger Siphiwe Tshabalala.

He seems like he's going to sign.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

To me this suggests that the manager isn't calling all the shots over which players he wants at the club, as he was wanted by forest when Billy was in charge, bit of a coincedence if both Managers want him?

Agree0 Disagree0

True say

Thats what I have been thinking mate but it could be the cheif scout keith burn doing it e.g we wanted mcgoldrought when megson cc and billy was at the club

McClaren is interested in bringing Owen Hargreaves along with the squad to the pre-season tour to Portugal in order for him to prove his fitness. If he can last the tour without breaking down, expect a Pay-As-You-Play deal to be offered to him.

Jack Cork - 750K
we have matched Southamptons bid, waiting on the player.

Giles Barnes - Free
a contract has been agreed in principle but depends on his fitness.

Nicky Maynard - had a bid rejected yesterday of 3.5M, set to up to 4M, if not will go for BILLY SHARP around 3M will be offered to donny, take it or leave it.

Vorheok - Forest are interested but would take a bid making him the biggest transfer the club has done, but there is interest from FC Uterecht but no bid has been made by them.

Bolo Zenden - McClaren interested as he wants to link up with someone he knows from a old club, if he came will more than likely be made captain.
