We are not gonna sign or loan anybody of the calibre that's getting mentioned on here Steve says he has had words with the board and is aware of the parameters he has to work within which will show with the type of loan signings we get in. Basically he has been told theres hardly any money in the pot can u work with what u have. I reckon promotion is not the aim for this season spending as little as possible is and if the situation is different next season signings may be possible with a view to push for promotion if it's big enough. Times r gonna get hard but times like these filter out all the fake fans. I expect the majority of users on this site will be gone next summer

But this is year 3 of the 3-year plan to get promoion...

Agree0 Disagree0

It would have been year 3 if Billy was still in charge.......this is now year 1 of another 3 year plan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't tell us your a friend of the chairman and he told you over a nice pint.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate I think that's a little patronising. I think most fans would accept the fact that we have little money to play with, that is a fact in the current climate, what they really want to hear is Mark Arthur admitting it and explaining we are working to a limited budget please stay with us. Instead they are treating us all with contempt. I have followed them for forty years this lot won't change it.

Agree0 Disagree0

His hardly makes sense! utter rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Thatbis a very negative thing to say about fans who have the passion to write about their club. If as I believe what you say is true then if the club could come out with a statement to that effect all would at least know where nffc stands, the lack of accurate communication from the directors of nffc shows disrespect for the loyal fans and a contempt that needs addressing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get your head out of the sand.....Doughty has failed yet again!

He wont deliver the goods for McClaren, so expect naff all in!

Agree0 Disagree0

I supported this club home and away when we went into financial meltdown a few years ago and all the fans knew what was going on. We now have a football club that talks of us going to the promised land every season, but informs the fans of nowt.
This club has had a large fan base for all the years since we were kings of Europe, who pay above average attendance fees, have a brilliant academy, but the club still claims to have no money. I could understand if we had a championship average attendance paying less at the turnstiles.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

If Carlsberg did CEO announcements....

Agree0 Disagree0

Man city with an AP !! Mint!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Please don't build peoples hopes up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great post. The only qualification that Mathur has is the ability to shoot himself in the foot but more often!
If only we could appoint someone with Cook's commercial experience we will get to the promise land with ND + SMC
MA you are the weakest link ........GOODBYE!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mark arthur you are the weaken link goodbye

man city looking at putting out bridge on loan - noone can pay even a small % of his salary/ is it even worth saying we should go for him?

Believable4 Unbelievable19

Even if he was free, we'd still fail to sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

City will pay most of his wages go for it !

Agree0 Disagree0

A "Bridging" loan then ?

Agree0 Disagree0

If they were paying us we would still fail to get him

Agree0 Disagree0

If they were paying us, we were the only club interested and he announced that he's a die hard forest fan that would gratefully play for free we would still fail to get him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, safe to say we'd fail to sign him then! Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted I heard we were going for him and got ripped to shreds!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not going to happen!

players coming in -

collins - stoke - season
hammil - wolves - season
rose - spurs - 93day
townsend- spurs - season
bertrand - chelsea - 93 day

no diouf or macheda - lascelles and tudgay/mcgoldrick may go out on loan if we bring in another striker.

Believable4 Unbelievable44

Shall i tell him, or does somebody else want to? {Ed001's Note - I have given up on trying to point out that it is only emergency loans that can be done outside of the transfer window. Some guy on the Birmingham site spent days posting abusive messages regarding it, simply because he couldn't accept it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Collins is going to ipswtich today sorry guys but we have missed out on another target.

kw

Agree0 Disagree0

Collins - Ipswich - emergency loan

Agree0 Disagree0

Collins gone to ipswich

Agree0 Disagree0

Can i just state to everyone emerganccy loan is only in the premiership if the team can prove there have not enought players in one are to meet there 25 man squad! Champ teams can take players on loan with view to perm deals! They can even take 10 players on loan like cardiff last year but only 5 can be used in a match day squad! {Ed001's Note - there are two different types of emergency loan. In the Prem it is just if you have every keeper out injured you can take one on an emergency loan. That is the only loan available to them outside of a transfer window. In the Football League outside of the transfer window clubs can take on players for what is termed an emergency loan. These can last no more than 93 days. I believe the ruling only came in for last season.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Write off Collins..gone to Ipswich, nice to know that they havent let us down again!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ipswich now have collins

How is this possible then?

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14845940.stm {Ed001's Note - he was a free agent, surely you understand that is not a loan deal?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Collins went to Ipswich. One wrong, rest will follow same path. Best to find another blog or web site

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Danny Rose at Barnsley?

Agree0 Disagree0

You are talking rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget it - we're signing nobody, loan or otherwise. Why didn't the Chairman tell us all this at the start of the season, yep suckered again!

Agree0 Disagree0

A player we have been tracking for a few weeks has gone elsewhere again - I will always follow Forest but they are getting no more of my money until they support SMc and get him some loan signings ( and I don't mean Perch) I am even boycotting the Derby game I have had it with this accquisitions panel - get rid of em Fans have been conned again, SMc wouldn't blame you if you left !! our crappy board don't deserve a manager of your calibre

Agree0 Disagree0

Fans are already voting with their feet. Leicester - 23000 for a local derby. West Ham 21000 - ok it was on the box, but that was against one of the best teams in the league. The empty seats are spreading every home game. Your time is nearly up Mr Chairman.

Barry Bannan is wanted on loan by forest, however it looks like villa wont allow him to go now hes finally playing to his ability.

Danny rose looks on his way however after harry agreed to let him come to us on loan. Will not happen until after the Southampton though.

Believable4 Unbelievable26

Bannan is a midfielder -how many more do we need ?
