Connor Wickham rumour doing the rounds again! There local paper saying Sunderland will let him go to fund players! and of course Wickham playing under Pearce to the under 21s, saying Forest /SP are in the running! Fryatt and Wickham up front, Boooom:-)

Not sure they would be willing to let him go. His goals kept Sunderland up last season so I'm sure they would give him a chance to prove himself early in the season.
Be nice to be wrong though!

Wickham has said that he is to sit down and discuss a new deal with Sunderland and if he did leave there would be race between the bottom 7-8 prem clubs to sign him now after last season.

I was going to say that I don't believe it but because I would love someone of his proven class at this level, I will say we can only dream until anything actually happens.

Honestly cannot see it happening, surely the lower league prem teams will all want him.
