Excellent start to the season; you can't win every game; you win some you don't deserve too and lose some you don't deserve too. 14 points in 7 games. keep that average up and you get promoted. Negativity and whinging is a real pain and unhelpful. Be positive.

Very well said sir

Don't kid yourself. 6 goals conceded in 3 games and 4 of those at home. You can't leak an average of 2 goals a game and expect to do well.

{Ed034's Note - we need a dm. That is the nuts of it. Billy tried something last night and it didn't work. It was worth a try, as it could have been a good option to have.
To slate reidy is ridiculous though. He had a poor game, but a poor game in a position which he is not natural at. He has been fantastic this season and doesn't deserve to have a fan jump on his back for one below average game

3.) 18 Sep 2013
I'm a Reid but he had a poor game but so does everyone, you are dead right ed, we really need a dm I would have Moussi in for Majewski and Hendo in for Cox Saturday, too many people jumped on Moussi Saturday in his first game of the season, he can and well play better.

{Ed034's Note - last night showed just what moussi brings to the team

4.) 18 Sep 2013
Ed: Penalties & free kicks is what Mousse will bring to games. As for Reyes. he definitely needs to be on the pitch. Left back would be a good start. Cohen exposed out there as he has been targetted by the opposition as a weak link in that position. 1st goal - where was he?
Sorry for negativity but let's say it how it is

{Ed034's Note - every player brings free kicks and pens. To point out those two incidents in the last game is rather silly. Have a look at the replay of each. For the own the bloke ran into him. Nobody thought we were in any danger at that free kick. What about the other free kicks that the rest if the team committed. It was just unlucky on moussi that those two incidents were against him. They could have been anyone.
I am not saying, like I have said so many times before, that moussi is world class, but he is good enough for this level until billy brings in someone else and is the best DM we have at the club and last night we missed not having a DM in the team.
Both Cohen and lichaj were exposed because boro played ok the counter and went straight outwide to the wingers. Of course they will be exposed.
Please tell me you are not that blinkered that you could not see that. They used the pace they had on the wings. Come on you cannot still be saying Cohen is a weak link

5.) 18 Sep 2013
If anything it was halford at fault for the first goal but seeing as though he just came on you can't blame him too much. some fans are so negative all the time

6.) 18 Sep 2013
Cohen is a weaklink ed. I posted on here a couple of days ago about teams setting up against him and Boro did the same. It wasn't as obvious but they did. Quick wing play down that side scared him and they gave him plenty of space for him to move into knowing that he would forget his defensive duties. That led to the first goal. Currently, he is a weak link and so is reidy playing dm, square pegs in round holes. Play Lansbury deeper then play Radi ahead with two wider men. The 4-2-3-1 didn't work last night, Mackie needed to be up top alongside cox.

{Ed034's Note - they set up to go down both flanks because that is where their strength is and when you play to counter, that's the obvious way of doing it. Cohen is getting rave reviews through the footballing works, yet you are still blinkered to the fact he is a weak link.
Just face fact, you have a bee in your bonnet about him and there is nothing he can do for you to change your view.

7.) 18 Sep 2013
You've actually said it yourself ed. Cohen and Lichaj were exposed but only Cohen had a poor game. Lichaj wasn't as good as he has been but he was still good.

{Ed034's Note - both were exposed because we did not play with a proper DM and their wingers say on the touch line. If we had a DM to cover, it would have been different

8.) 18 Sep 2013
Yes ed a dm would have helped but Lichaj coped, Cohen didn't. That's what I'm trying to say. I accept I've never been a massive Cohen fan but i'm not stuck to that view, if he performs well enough, my view would change. I didn't like the Henderson signing at first but he would be my first choice striker now.
I think slightly the opposite tbh and I think some fans are slightly stuck in the past thinking about how Cohen played in the league one days. They loved him then so they will love him now whether he performs or not. People are the same about Blackstock.

{Ed034's Note - disagree. I thought lichaj was the weak link Tuesday.
Cohen is a far better player now than then. I presume the pundits, journos and manager are also stuck in the past also. Absolute idiotic answer
