Atmosphere was a disgrace last night. There is an argument that players efforts and performance dictate the volume amongst fans but I believe the fans volume dictate the levels of performance and confidence. We have 8 games to get behind the boys. Despite a poor turnout last night it was still second highest of the evening only just beaten by sheff wed. ( maybe the Manchester derby was more appealing). Still going to be twists and turns but we need to support.

When your team has been hammered 5-0 by local rivals you are looking for some kind of reaction. First half there were a couple of occasions where I thought we were just getting into a stride, but a mistake would stall us. Second half just went downhill. To be fair the atmosphere only turned when they scored, forest showed nothing last 10 mins, zilch. A guy a few rows back from me got Mackies attention and told him all the other teams around us were losing and that we needed to get something out of the game. Mackies expression was one of sheer desperation, one I won't forget

Agree with you mate. I was at the derby game and did a 200 mile round trip for last nights game aswell. I did expect a reaction I must admit and if we scored first would have been a completely different game. At times halford and fox were stood still when it was cryin out for them to push up but it felt awful last night and that comes from the stands we need to roar them on. I still feel there is going to b a few surprises
