Nottingham Forest are to recall Simon Gillett from his loan spell at Bristol City, seen as immediate cover for Billy Davies' injury ravaged squad.

This makes sense, in that position we need bodies at moment and then see what loan market offers. Personally not convinced we need world beaters in this position. Of course would like the rodwells of his world but with Reid, Paterson, abdoun and strikers doing well we firstly need someone to do simple things well and break up opposition play. I think Gillett did that mostly. Is he cup tied?

I can't believe we are going to do this, i'm sorry I do not rate him, living here in the South west I have some mates who are Bristol City fans and they think the same.

could we not play halford or even lacelles in front of 2 central defenders hobbs and gomes?

or even lacelles, Hobbs, Gomes with jara and fox up and down both sides with reid, macky, and pato, in middle, with cox in the number 10 and hendo up top

that would scare the bin robbers

Halford as cover in midfield, sorry no! his abilities lie elsewhere, keep jara in the holding position, he is better than Moussi

Not Halford, his position is a defender. Maybe Gomis, don't know enough about him but his defensive qualitys in that position might be what we need. Let's see what the loan market brings first before panicking

When se had sod Gillett was one of our best players broke up play well didn't often give the ball away and read the game well even prem clubs were rumoured to be looking at him def better than the moose

Lol! Everyone had a go at hull for recalling Hobbs, but it's fair game if we recall gillett? Hypocrites

{Ed034's Note - there is a huge difference. They did it to force us to buy him. Gillett would be for injury cover.

Whether he's not as good as moussi or not we need cover for injuries because we might not get our loan targets

Another player who lost confidence because a few so called forest fans got on his back. We should get him back if billy thinks we are short and let him fill the place. If he hitsvthe ground running then all is well. If not we go for more loan at the right time for the play off final. We can recall him as its an emergency can't we a LA Hobbs experience?
