We have just got rid of a load of over paid under performing players, why would we wanna give a mega bucks deal to a player in the twilight of his career, better of getting in 3 or 4 young hungry British players in. Unless Fawaz is hoping this players "star" status would bring in big bucks commercially. We shall see.

Could it be Frank Tomlinson (winger) previous clubs Oldham, Rochdale and Chester? he may be a bit to old at 88 years of age, but could be a good squad player, and not get as many injuries as the current squad!
