Why are most people saying that WB has 2 games to save his job. We are only 6 points off the playoffs and only played 10 games. We have a few new lads who need to get used to each other and the more games we play the better we'll get. We can't always play beautiful football and sometimes need to win ugly but who cares because a win is a win. The new owners have put a plan in place and its a plan we need to get on board with.

I agree Bez, a lot of people on here are frustrated and have no patience, to say get rid of MW now or in a few games time is just plain crazy.

Bezman We do not want beautiful football at the moment. We need results and clean sheets, it is not as though we are unlucky and loosing One Nil. We are loosing at home and leaking too many goals. How many losses do there have to be before the owners sack the manager ? Not many more I am afraid. Another loss tomorrow and MW will be gone.

It's more the fact he inherited the second worst defence in league then completely ignored the fact we conceded 72 goals went our and bought loads of attacking options, leaves out last year's player of the year for a poor defender, relentlessly plays mills dispite so many mistakes and solo positional errors leading to goals, take leeds for example new owners new manager 8 or 9 new players same boat as us except there manager joined at then of June and there 3rd I'm sorry but he chose to ignore our biggest problem and is now paying the price

Some want it all, and want it now.

Jake he isn't going to change his way of playing.
He has a style and when it works,as it did against Huddersfield last season and Ipswich,it's great to watch.
He will stick to his way and so he should,it won't happen overnight it takes time,we'll have good days and bad days, just give it time.
If your worried don't be two team's are already relegated,in Bolton and Sunderland and that's because they are a mess as clubs from the top.
We've sorted that and if our new owners sacked Warburton after 10 games then they would be no better than fawaz.
Next thing you know another manager comes in,don't like the players out comes the cheque book,he fails, then the owners get abuse.
Ring any bells?
It should do,alarm ones.

Wouldn't say that abf but an improvement would be a start defence is as bad if not worse than last year as everyone keeps saying work in progress where is the progress because I still see a team leaking goals and lacking inspiration don't get me wrong off the field is great but on it looks no different to last season right now

I'm sorry. I don't understand how it's MWs fault we didn't improve the defence? He bought in a RB, tried to get in a cb and a LB in, brought in a GK who got injured before he played and has strengthened the midfield to shield the defence and is trying to get the team to transition into an attractive attacking team. We are not defending particularly well, however a lot of the issues are individual errors.

ABF. I feel a Queen number coming on!!! 🎸🎸🎸

{Ed007's Note - Years ago I went for a job interview which went a bit like this:

Interviewer: What would you consider one of your strengths?
Me: Performing under pressure
Interviewer: Can you give me an example?
Me: *deep breath*

Mm ba ba de,
Um bum ba de,
Um bu bu bum da de

PRESSURE, pushing down on me, pressing down on you........

Transition into attacking football ? We seldom play attacking football. We play sideways football most of the time. The reason we keep losing is because our possession is none penetrative so far this season and most of his tenure last season. Just because the ball is on the floor doesn't automatically make it attackng football.
Play like we did for 10 mins in second half against Fulham and it might click bit this manager is taking too long to spot the obvious. Is vaughans absence the reason? If so MW carries the can for that too because Vaughan hasn't made a full season for years so why would you so him as anything other than bit part.

2star. Yet under Warburton both Vaughan and Cohen managed to play every game when wanting new contracts.

Fickle forest fans are never happy 😂 I think if we were top of the league playing rubbish football some of you lot would be calling for the managers head! Patience is needed boys, don’t forget the last 5 years! You’ll see in the next few seasons how we improve! It takes time. Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Rome wasn’t built in a day, only hone cause a certain someone wasn’t in that particular job 😁

Ok let's blindly carry on averaging 2 goals conceded a game the improvement will be because were playing league 1 teams you just can't let that many goals in in the championship

18.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 15:32:27
RJ. Yet we are only a small amount of points away from third place

19.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 16:02:58
Chill there's no chance of Bolton,Sunderland,Birmingham,Burton finishing above us all four are conceding as much or more than us,so no chance of playing league one.

20.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 16:33:44
FF79. I'm not predicting anything, but the clubs you mentioned might not go down, there is too long to go to guess.

21.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 17:13:51
Can't see past it bright, not guessing just believe when things are not right at the top as in the case of Bolton and Sunderland, pretty much doomed, can even see Bolton back in administration,Cottrell has got to sort out 20 million pounds of misfits,if the nutters that run Brum give him any time that is. and Burton will struggle.

22.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 17:41:25
We nearly the same points away from the bottom 3 as well abf 😁 I'm not being a doomer just looking at the facts this defence has been like this for 56 games now and 20 of those under mw and absolutely no progression I know you need the rub of the green but we have had a seasons worth in 10 games lol people say give it time when for me this defence has there time already and failed miserably

23.) 02 Oct 2017
02 Oct 2017 19:07:01
Interesting you say same defence has failed, but it's not the Same, darikwa has only come in this season, traore is playing regularly for the first time, and Worrall has only come in late last season,so it's not the same old guard really.
It's not just the defenders it's the lack of tackling in midfield, how many times have you seen an opponent run from his own half to our penalty area? A lot, that needs addressing as well,It's not just defenders who need to defend.
