Someone was unhappy at Rafa Mirs record as far as goals is concerned, stating he has only scored 7 goals after having played in in 30 games.

The post has said 11 of those 30 games were only sub appearances.
They have also said he is due a medical within 24 hours.

Also he played LW and RW as well as Striker whilst on loan.

We need a forward to challenge grabben not an unproven striker from the la liga 2.

7 goals in 19 starts and 11 sub apps. That's a goal every 235mins (roughly 2.5 games) . Not a terrible record. Not sure what people expect when you can't afford to throw millions at the transfer market. Sometimes you have to take a chance (or hopefully an educated chance! ) .

He's a big No9 anyway, which is an option I think we need and he has good pedigree, graduating through the Spanish youth set up.

Shouldn't cost the earth in wages, I'd hope. Get him in.

He's young, highly regarded in Spain, has a decent goal ratio and at 6ft 3, with Silva's set pieces, he should chip in with his fair share. Another astute signing in my opinion. It doesn't mention whether it's a loan or permanent though?

Can’t judge the transfer when we’ve not even seen him play, we are building a team not individuals.

He has been used out wide at Valencia, Redtree, but he's really a proper No9. I've seen him a few times for Valencia and for Spain.

He got used out wide because he has good pace and decent technical ability. Even as a 6ft3 centre-forward he can still get in-behind and run the channels. Very much a complete, all-round forward but just how good? I'm sure we'll find out.

This is going to sound really bad but why not take a chance on a lower league player might be cheaper we did ok with britt that's my only concern really this coming season is where are the goals coming from, the new lads and Joe might chip in with a few or do you think he'll give young Walker a try.

I'd like to see Walker used as our third choice striker, seeing as we're only playing one through the centre in a 433 formation (by the looks of it) .

Grabban, Mir and Walker fighting over the No9 shirt would be ok by me.

Mir sounds like a flop to me, and certainly no competition for Grabban. Vellios, Bendtner, Ansarifard, we seem to go through duds all the time. Save our money till we get a chance for a real bombshell striker from whatever League. We can use Johnson and Walker till we do.

Isn't Brennan Johnson a central midfield player?

Mir and Walker unproven at this level and Grabban nearing 32. Doubt if that's a good enough set of forwards to be promoted.

Dan we already have a young proven lower league striker. he's called Tyler Walker, why would be buy another one.

So its alright to sign young strikers from the lower English leagues but not a prospect from Spain?

At least he's not a Scottish barn door misser!

Welcome Mr Mir.

Why bother signing another unknown forward? Utter waste of time and money. This guy was behind Bonatini in the Wolves pecking order and has virtually no championship experience. Would have rather we kept Soudani or Vellios than this guy. Clough or Cummings might be better as well.

If Forest have any ambition for this season they need to sign two quality strikers along with a quality RB, a left footed quality centre back and probably another decent midfielder if Geddy goes.

Not impressed by the players we are being linked with.

South you do not need to be impressed by their coming in,you need to be impressed by their quality of football.

Sharp and McGoldrick sounds like an average strike force. They got promoted.

South, I'd never heard of Silva or Samedo but they look like they can definitely do a job for us so let's trust the recruitment.

Our IT Manager aka DoF started with Windows 7 when buying players for Fawaz and upgraded to Windows 8 last year.

We shall soon find out whether he has the latest Windows software to get our widgets to peak performance? 😳🙄🤮.

Not sure Ansarifard was a dud, so to speak. I think we've let a decent striker go, as in sure with a decent run in the squad he would have come good. never given a proper chance, but seemed ok when he was given a run out.

We do need a proven striker though, as I feel we are still way to short on quality in that area . and as we all know, you need goals to win games and get out of this league.
