So we are thinking about ulloa and the sheep are trying to bring Rooney in.
If they get Rooney he will take them up he'd be a class above anything in the championship.

How are they getting around ffp? Fairly sure he won’t be joining them for 20 grand a week.

Well mel is obviously not as dumb as he looks?
They have offloaded some deadwood and signed two quality players to add to their squad, what have we done? 🤔.

Image rights my friend brings money in and he's got the chance to coach, he's loaded anyway and it's obviously been thought through.
It was only ever rumoured that they had ffp problems and always a way around any rules if you look hard enough.

Hence renaming the stadium, the 39 million losses are way to low over a three year period anyway if the owners can show they have the money to cover things.
Man city wouldn't be where they are now under the present rules and fester broke them along with Bournemouth and QPR to get there, only one now suffering for it though.

They didn’t rename there stadium mels other company bought it off them for a crazy price of £80million and they still only made 14mill profit off of that. that's how far above ffp they were.

Doesn't matter though they got round it.

Why hasn’t a mid table prem club tried to get Rooney? i hope it gets highjacked because that signing will make us look stupid.

We'll probably end up with "Mickey" Rooney! 🤣🤣🤣.

Rooney wants to manage in the future and Mel has come with a proposal to include a coaching role in the future.
Astute bit of business by Mel.
Marinakis has tunnel vision when it comes to forest. He should take a leaf out of mels book and be more savvy with his decisiona.

Rooney signing as player coach. Coaching staff wages exempt from FFP.
Derby have an intelligent FD.
Meanwhile we are signing Jenkinson from Arsenal who played a whole 7 games on loan to Brum last year!

You have to admit, it is a masterstroke by Derby, and with Rooney's coaching ambitions, it's a fair move. Especially as he'll see his former England colleague move to manage a major Prem team after just one season with them. They clearly have the right contacts to make these things happen.

Fff79 mate any image rights will be nothing to do with derby, he got all those tied up for himself,

My point was stevie he doesn't need massive wages and by that I mean 200k a week he makes it anyway and the sheep will get more in from TV and sponsorship.
