Apparently we have gazumped Panathanaikos to the signing of Greek striker Ionnaidis. who has scored 5 goals in 20 appreances. Not sure about you lovely lot, but those stats do not fill me with any excitement. Thoughts?

Exactly. How many times have we been here before with interest in this sort of player. We need someone with experience in scoring goals, not someone relatively untried. Starting to get that feeling in my bones again, like when we sold Walker and did nothing with the cash or replace the player we sold.

Typica of Forest trying to do things on the cheap.
Poor record for a poor player.
I wouldn't expect any decent signings but I would expect more dead wood and lightweight imports.

Why buy him we have ayoung lad who's scored 48 in just over 90 games who don't get a game, be nice to see us play 2 strikers at home.

Daft question. a mate from Sheffield reckons we have sold Cash?

Cash is on holiday at moment. A fee might have been agreed but he won’t be an official signing for anybody for at least another week.

Stats aren't great but he's only 20 and isn't the finished article yet. He's quick, strong and he can beat a man. Forest should be searching high and low for good youngsters anywhere they can. Having a bit of cash to spend on the right player is great. As a policy though it's completely unsustainable for a club like Forest. Nor is it a substitute for a
quality academy and quality scouting network. And what kind of 'fans' rubbish potential new young players when they've never even seen them play? Is that where we're at?
