It has been said Forest are going to try and get Grosicki via a legal battle if their appeal over being twenty one seconds late with the paper work is turned down.

He is not worth the bother, yes he is a quality player but if it is right he was haggling too long over money then no thank you.

Let him stay on the West Brom bench.

A loan player doesn't haggle over money. His main club pay his wages. The negotiation was between Forest and his club if it is a loan. If permanent then the player must have already agreed terms and the club hadn't agreed a fee.

It sounds like Forest met the asking price right at the last minute. If that is true then it is incompetence or something akin to that incident over a players eyesight (i. e. the club didn't really want to pay but were trying to appease the boss) .

There is a lot that does not make sense about the attempted deal.

If both West Brom, and Forest had agreed a deal then the paperwork should have been put in early enough.

How can Forest say they are confident they put the paperwork in early enough, they either know they did, or did not.

When the deadline is five pm why does it take at least two days for those whose job it is to make the decision to reaffirm their decision.

Why would it be reported Grosicki was demanding more money than he is on at West Brom, which Grosicki has not denied.

Why would it be reported Forest will take legal action if they do not get him, that would not be something they would need to make up to appease the players leader.

I think Grosicki does not really want to join Forest, but if the club gave in to his demands it would be worth him coming just for the money.

You however could be right.

Fiest we heard was olympiacos were signing him and then loaning him to us?
Very strange and unsettling for the player i'd say?

That was the rumour Forest, the end result would always he would be playing for Forest so not unsettling for him. Football is a bit different to other jobs as always being on the move for most players.

Personally I would not be bothered if he came or not, I just don’t get a good feeling about the details, for me It seems he wanted to stay at West Brom and did not want to come to forest., then Agents wrangled for a few more Thousands per week. Not sure about getting lumbered with someone for a two year deal when he will be at end of career if we get promoted. However saying that a very useful player on his day.

If the rumour true and that he was haggling over money that was why deal was late, then he and his agents have right screwed up, as he won’t even be able to be on the wba bench either now as he not named in the squad, If the paperwork was 21 seconds late then the rules are clear and he will be playing for WBA reserves till January.

That would serve him right.

Another theory! We wanted Wilson on loan but Cardiff beat us to it. It left us insufficient time to switch to Grosicki and complete in good time.
