2tone. There’s a reason there parent clubs in prem loaned them because at the time they didn’t think they where good enough for there 1st team squad on match days. So it proves they haven’t done enough in prem games ect But suddenly they want ridiculous fees.
Still unproven at prem level. So a fare price would be £10m plus add ons. I hope we haggle the price down.
Spurs are standing there ground over spence. Only offered £10m.

I would pay that for him I think he he better defensively and his tactical awareness is better than spence, don't get me wrong I am not calling spence as I thing he is a good player but towards the end of the season he was not having the same impact as he was figure out and I would worry about his defensive ability coming up against better players.

If he was that good spurs would of paid what Middlesbrough what they want by now.

I’d offer £12m plus add ons for both spence and Williams. Spence takes risks but he will improve.

It’s just supply and demand true red - fallen out with the manager, on the scrap heap, on the bench or learning your trade playing reserve football then all of a sudden a good 9 months and a club can say you’re worth 10 or 20 million. It’s crazy but every club is doing it. As fans we either have to forget the money or realise that the sums don’t add up and worry about the finances of the club. I’ve done both in the past but now realise trying to work out and understand finances in football is like eating three or four dry cream crackers- it just can’t be done. We have to trust the owners and people who are involved in the signings to make the right decisions. If it’s 10 or 20 million it makes no difference in the crazy world of football and us fans just have to go with it. This is just talking about the transfer fees - we could start on the wages next ??‍♂️.

If the signing works out, then £20M will sound fine this time next year. If not, we will say they've had our pants down. That's football for you these days.

The other part of that is, how many players have an average first season at a new club? Plenty. But fans these days will be moaning if they have a few bad games.

Let us not forget Liverpool already have 2 world class established wing backs in those positions, don't think it's a case of them thinking Williams isn't good enough for Prem or them.

I think he's a quality player and will greatly improve us, 15 mill would be more like it.

When two clubs are after a player (Forest and Fulham), the selling club are likely to try and create an auction, you can't blame them. We would/ should be doing the same.

Forest and Fulham need to stand firm, offer no more than £15m and let Neco decide where he wants to go.
