Leics fans I work with reckon Wes is on his way back - Billy says he wouldn't have let him go if he had any choice and wants him back?

1.) 30 Apr 2013
Billy didn't get rid of Morgan so get your facts right

2.) 30 Apr 2013
Would love him back, as he is a Red. Can't see it happening though :/

3.) 30 Apr 2013
I think the op means had bd been at the club wes wouldn't have been allowed to leave not that he let him go

4.) 30 Apr 2013
He didn't say he did, he went when Cotteril needed 3 players short term to save us from relegation last season.

It's a good move to get him back, I understand he still has a house in Nottingham.

This would be an excellent signing. All we would need is someone like Curtis Davies to play along side him and we would have the perfect partnership. As I've kept saying all season. Pace and Power!

God no. wes gave his all and loved being a red, but we should be looking at a more mobile, dominant centre half than big wes. best days long, gone

7.) 30 Apr 2013
Wes Morgan isn't good enough now there are better out there.

8.) 30 Apr 2013
As per the recent media, wes lives in Gedling and If he gets banned from driving in his court case in July he could walk to work if he comes back :-)

9.) 30 Apr 2013
Wes was in the championship 11 of the season

Don't really understand this speculation.

Our target list will depend on what division we are in.

Simples.

11.) 01 May 2013
They all want to come back when it don't work out like birtles from man u

12.) 01 May 2013
He is not going to be a top Premiership Defender if we go up
Prefer Curtis Davies who is a better leader and centre half

13.) 01 May 2013
Can't understand the comments saying Wes is past his best?. Hasn't he just made it into Champ Team of the Season?
It breaks me to see him anywhere else than Forest but can't see him coming back, not after one season anyway.

I hope this is not true, we need better than Wes, don't look back. move forwards.
And besides if he's that good why are the scousers letting him go, no thanks!

15.) 01 May 2013
Why would Leicester want to lose their captain when he's under contract for another year? Am I missing something?

16.) 01 May 2013
He was allowed to leave because (a) he wanted to go to a team he thought might get promoted when we were looking odds on to be relegated and (b) getting c. £1m for a player soon to be out of contract funded wages for others i. e. Guedioura that helped keep us up. For the money we'd have to pay to get him back (transfer & wages) - assuming he would want to come back - I would guess there are better options for us to pursue?

17.) 02 May 2013
If Wes knew about interest from Forest, and was offered an extension by Leicester, he may say he's not signing to force a deal. Only one year left on his contract Leicester may decide to sell for maybe 2 mil or possibly less (hopefully) rather than wait a season and see them go on a free, like every single Forest player has seemed to do!

18.) 03 May 2013
Not sure what to think about Wes coming back (true or not) - he looked good when we had a much poorer squad but would he look quite so good now the squad is so much better?
