Cox stretchered off in the cup tie against Hartlepool. Rumours circulating that the damage done could be torn ligaments or a badly sprained ankle. Let's hope it's neither

I thnk sprained ankle be better news than torn ligaments! definitely we need a Striker or 2 in now!

{Ed034's Note - good thinking

2.) 06 Aug 2013
I love how even rumours spread about an injury!
"Doctor I've got a rumoured sprained ankle"

3.) 06 Aug 2013
Was spotted with pot on ankle. New striker seems a necessity now.

4.) 06 Aug 2013
2-3 weeks Paul Taylor reported

5.) 06 Aug 2013
He's only out for 2 weeks, 3 weeks at max

6.) 06 Aug 2013
He was sat in the mainstand after halftime walking fine and laughing and joking with fawaz, no pot and tackled the steps no problem i'm guessing just abit of bruising.

7.) 07 Aug 2013
The pot was on because Billie was him to grow a few inches!

8.) 07 Aug 2013
Billy Davies on Forest Player interview saying he has damaged ligaments and looks like he will be out for 2-3 weeks.

Spoke to a guy who works for me yesterday, he is good mates with one of Kelvin Wilsons mates, he said he wants to come back to Nottingham, he will not leave Celtic for any other club.

Hope his injury really isn't bad and he recovers quick BUT we could do without the player in the team. Awful footballer

10.) 07 Aug 2013
2-3 weeks. Is this a cox time frame? Remember last season he was back way way before timeframe such is his determination. Give him a week (hoping fingers crossed). COYR

11.) 07 Aug 2013
Whatever the injury I'm sure he'll be back in half the time. The lad's nails!.

12.) 07 Aug 2013
Awful footballer? I bet u wasn't saying that when he scored that goal against brum, or when he put us 1-0 up against Leicester. I wouldn't say he's a centre forward, more ad a advanced midfielder/supporting striker but awful. don't talk wet

Sorry to hear about Cox, but pleased we have plenty of cover.
Billy seems to have options to change things around so that's good news.
Maybe we have the Derbyshire of old back in form and hitting the net. Is this as a result of having wide men and the service our forwards have been missing in previous seasons?

Maybe talking wet was a bit strong, but damp maybe?
