I have it on a very, very credible source that we will have a striker in on or before monday. No names at the moment but I would suspect we are back in for djebbour.

{Ed034's Note - my understanding is djebbour is not welcome within 50 miles of any postcode starting ng, so if this is true he must have done some huge grovelling

Nor is he welcome up ere in DN22 & S80 (north notts)! Unless like you say he's come back cap in hand realising we have more history than any other clowns who he thought might want him. Also for me he'd have to say yes I was wrong ye I know we'll be in the prem this time nxt year yes I'll bang the goals in to get us there yes I'll do it for nowt and yes I hate derby county I hate Leicester too I hate Sheffield united but Forest I love you then and maybe then I'd take him back ;D

My best mate is a Geordie and he says Ameobi has been their equivalent of Derbyshire pre season banging um in for fun and will get a go at forcing his way in to Pards' plans again.
If he said such a thing on tv it's probably kidology to get the gaffer thinking let's face it NUFC taking Remy back after he snubbed um for QPR isn't too different to the Djebbour business here and joking aside if they can swallow their pride in Exchange for goals surely we can?
Lets face it he'd tear this league apart AND cope with the prem n that's what has really impressed me with our signings they nearly all have prem or champs league experience I truly feel this is the start of an era & a return to the glory days. hold tight boys silverware awaits!

We don't really no what went off but I was gutted when he didn't sign he looks awesome. So who can blame him for wanting to play at a higher level and probably double the money it's natural. Any chance we could get another chance get him in he would blast us into premiership I'm sure everything would be forgotten after the goals start flying in.

{Ed034's Note - he was over half way through his medical and refused to finish it. I don't think billy or fawaz will forget the time, effort and money it cost us.
I really rate the player and if he signs I don't think any fan will be bothered about it
