Chelsea are said to be keen to loan Ryan Bertrand and Manchester United to loan Wilfred Zaha on three month loans respectively.

If Forest want promotion this season and want to show ambition, we need to be enquiring about these players as well as securing Chabolah.

Can't see Bertrand going out on loan to the championship. if he goes it'll be to a prem team with a view to a permanent deal he's too good and it would be a step backwards for him.

Cost of loans and wages for those 3 would just be far too much. People have to realise that we can't just throw money at this and success be guaranteed.

We can enquire all we like but Bertrand and Zaha will go to PL clubs (If they go at all)

Prem clubs can't loan players untill January so if they are to be loaned out it will be to a Championship club.

Remember no loans in the prem so no matter how good they are championship teams are the best option if they want play regular football and only pay a portion of wagers so could be a possibility in this all three would be great additions to the squad IMO

Premiership clubs can do loan deals. The Chelsea striker was at West Brom last season and Everton this. Don't know if it has to be a season long loan though.

Agree with Ed, Cohen's strength is his mobility. For DM this is a weakness. DM has to be Napoleon in Red, directing his men and keeping the team balanced when canny opposition tries to lure them out of shape. DM has to be an immaculate tackler and blocker but can have a trick - usually it is a thunderbolt freekick. Surely we can find another Johnny Metgod somewhere in the European leagues.

A good dm has to be energetic and always look to want to get the ball, something cc would do well at.

Fact is, DB is swelling the aquad bigger and bigger. Why do we need these fringe players and why are we not replacing these with better?

Bertrand in - Harding Out on loan would be a great bit of business. Mourinho is said to be keen to loan Bertrand for an initial one month loan with a possible extension.

Zaha in - Blackstock Out. We need a striker and Zaha would fit the bill until Jan. Blackstock has looked increasinlgy less of the player we signed from QPR several years ago and would be better suited to life in League 1 to boost his confidence.

Chalobah - Why haven't we stepped up our pursuit. The longer this goes on the more CHelsea will consider giving him back to Watford.

We need some action, we knew we would leave it late and more dithering in the loan window will cost us. Guedioura to Palace was the worst business we could have done. I thought he was exceptional against Watford ad since then we have looked vulnerable. Without a couple of good signings, our season will derail quickly!

{Ed034's Note - because 1. you need clubs to want the players we don't 2. We need to agree to the current clubs to let us take those players 3. If we can do this we then need to keep all of these players, players who would expect to be first team week in week out, happy.
