Hi Ed don't know if you got my last post I don't normally post much info on here but I heard for sure that we are trying to get Rhodes on loan with view to permanent 7 mil in jan. I'm as sceptical as I usually am but I'm just relaying what I heard earlier today. Regards

If we were that desperate to get him Fawaz and Billy would have bid £7m before the window shut.

If we are top two in January. (in which case there might be no need) we might bid £7m to get him to get us over the line.

This one is not going to happen.

I would have ordinarily taken this with a pinch of salt BUY Blackburn (or Venky's, their owners) have just posted a loss of 29 million in the last financial year so getting rid of their prized asset isn't that far fetched. However I do think it's unlikely that we would sign him, Wigan, Reading, Qpr and teams in the bottom half of premiership would be more likely destinations. Would love him at forest though, quality player but £7 million is an awful lot of money.

I heard it from my bro who admits there's not much coming out the cg anymore in his words the leaks have been sacked or plugged! He seemed fairly sure though that this Rhodes thing is still bubbling away. So I just relayed what I heard as it is a rumours site else why are we on here!

A signing like rhodes is the difference between us being in the prem. so if 7m could generate 100m then its definitely worth the risk
