Interview with Fawaz was very positive on EMT and NFFC YouTube channel.
Identifies striker as a concern area and says negotiations are underway with 3 new players (I'm assuming he means with their clubs).

Just watched the whole 9 plus minutes on Forest Player and a very positive interview with Fawaz. Love the bit when he said by the end of the window I hope the fans will be happy. Looks like 'balls out' for the Premier League this season by all accounts! Also mentioned building 'bit by bit' the squad and the stadium. The futures bright the futures Forest ;)

Oh forgot to mention he said negotiations are underway with the players and their agents so one would assume that they have been given clearance by their clubs to have talks.

The chairman also confirmed his success in negotiating a deal which he says will keep Jack Hobbs at The City Ground until at least the end of the season.
He said: “I dealt directly with Hull City and they accepted our deal. At the moment he is with us until the end of the season. I hope his long-term future is here but we must speak with Hobbs and his agent. â€
What's this all about from the web site? How can Bruce say we paid nearly a million and yet Fawaz says his long term future isn't sorted?

Let's not get carried away with things guys; firstly, we still haven't signed the striker and DCM we need to turn draws into wins and secondly, it's unlikely (IMO) that we'll catch either of the top two and we all know what a lottery the play-offs can be!

No one in the above posts appears to be getting 'carried away'. Isn't it refreshing that a chairman decides to keep the fans in the loop. Two weeks till the end of January, plenty of time to finalise possible deals. My glass is half full.
