Going back to the game against the blunts. I thought Wilder used Duffy really well. Everything went through him and he dropped deep to put some lovely balls over the top. Carvahol who I think is better player technically should be playing a similar role. Gives him the chance to be effective.

Carvalho just hasn’t got it end of. We are going to have to wait till MON builds a complete new team, if the owner will wear that. Somehow I doubt it. I can see us losing the rest of our games now as we are in that familiar downward spiral again.

ive said the same thing Red, I don't know how he`ll react now to being called too weak again and again in public by the manager, even though he played in our first 20 matches scored or made 9 goals and was part of our best performing set-up.manager only puts him on when the teams losing with little time to go cus the fans are shouting for him.even when he scores a blinder against Hull he`s dumped out the team again.not the kind of man-management that's going to make a player fight for ya.

Cant argue the logic but i still think a player like Jamie ward adds more bite and attacking threat. Carvsllaho like yates is a plodder. If carvallho had a burst of pace he would be a much better player. Having technical abilityvis all well and good but he drifts and when we lose possesion he plods back and takes an age to be in an effective position

Carvalho hasn’t got it? Tell me who in our team does? Carvalho is a luxury player he needs others to do the dirty work because he’s not a defensive player but as I’ve said many times, he makes space for players to attack and always tries to play team mates in. The problem we have is that MON doesn’t seem to want to play him. I’d argue that it’s MONs issue rather than Carvalho’s.

Without trying to put the guy down if we'd had Cavalho on loan with an option to buy for 12 million we'd all be looking at the calendar to see if was 1st April. Sadly at this moment the championship has exposed his flaws in terms of lack of pace physical presence and ability to go past players as well as not giving him time on the ball. He may have potential but at the moment he's not exactly a reliable player to build a team around. His career could still go either way. The mistake was paying so much for an untried talent whoever was at fault we can't afford to do that again.

Funny how he's always seems to be in the firing line is it down to ability or simply because of how much he's cost if it's down to ability then fans should be ripping into the rest of the team one player can't win a game on their own or loose. If fans are taking it out on him for the price he's cost did he say that's what I'm worth sign me i thought it was the club who set the price .

Syred, a ridiculous decision , one of worse in a long and rich history of signing duff players - the problem this time is we’ve paid stupid money for him. That sum of money is distorting the facts you present excellently above , I think people just don’t want to concede the magnitude of the error . If we can’t get our money back we will be in trouble because we just can’t afford to Chuck that kind of cash away. Who’s bloody idea was this ? It’s an absolute shocker , 13 million , I’ll say it again 13 million ! I hope whoever made the shout has been sacked ! Please Mr M move him onto Olympiacos and get us our money back ?

We’ve paid 3 million up to yet I’d say he’s been worth that this season. Next season if he gets played he will probably be worth 6 million. After that who knows.
