I’m still hopeful, like I said it’s a start, I’m not happy in particular with Lamouchis comments, how can he say that only the 1st goal was Murics fault, when the 2nd he pulled his hand away, I think he is a talented keeper but is just naturally nervous, don’t understand the decision to take Lolley off we needed a goal he’s our best bet, why not Watson, thought our best player was Semedo,

Not managers fault that we are basically trying to rely on loan signings and free transfers to get promotion. Or that we are stuck with half a dozen players whom we can't off load because they are on such good contracts ie we pay em too much. Up to club to get rid of surplus players and buy a decent striker, right back and left footed central defender by Thursday or it will be deja vu this season.

I'd argue that if the manager was any good he would have tried personally to get the best players he could, get rid of the 12-16 dead wood players, and not try and fool the fans into thinking this team was Premiership material, but all Sabri has done is take the money and do what he is told with the players he has been given. We have had decent managers but they have not been supported at all by the Owners, and until that changes, we will stay where we are, or drop down further. Actually I'm sick of saying this over and over again like others on here, and If I didn't love the club so much, I'd definitely feel like giving the whole thing up and not bothering any more. A sad state NFFC has become.

The worse bit about the game for me was they had a corner on about 80th min an the camera caught Dawson tearing his hair out because no one was listening to him an in the same clip Watson or captain (lol) was having a chinwag with 1 of their players ( get out my team you’ve gone soft n not fit for purpose )

Wow, it’s one game, we won’t see many better teams this season than West Brom, yes they out muscled us and out smarted us, I saw some positives today and something they can build on, it’s a new team and a new beginning give them a chance before you get your pitch forks out.

Looked sharp enough until we scored and then bang average - ok keeper had a mare but for most of game we had no edge or strength to cut the opposition apart - Watson and his friendly chatting to opposition pees me off something chronic and looked like he was there for a kick about.

I hope Carvahlho comes of age and transforms us but I’m dreaming - Grabban got zero service and all the signs are a long season ahead in the bottom half if we’re lucky.

Yes and that’s the point we start every season with a brand new team and manger, the new team is usually made up of foreign freebies, and loans and the new manager looks like montanier mark 2, and West Brom were ordinary, they didn’t have to be much more,

Better teams than West Brom? i thought they were bang average to be honest. gave the ball away easily, not much threat up top if you actually watch the game. didn't do to bad at the back but then again we didn’t do too much to test them.
