Well its a shame brexit was delayed as none of these players signed recently from the far flung corners of europe would have had the credentials to cross borders into Britain!
Joking aside we had a major problem with a bloated squad of less than average players. A handful of decent championship players. So moving on players has been near enough impossible. Understandable as if you are on good money, not given a chance in the shop window how would you react? So to solve this problem you recruit a dozen or more average players not wanted by their average clubs. look at bostocks travelling record, quality?
We have made a staffing level of impossibility into a staffing crisis. The wages now must be crippling, morale will be sucked and sheer chaos will be surrounding individual direction and belonging.
If things on the pitch do not improve how can you sack lamouchi?
Who would you bring in that could deal with this staffing situation? Its almost like Brucie " your my new favourite " a fat kid in a sweet shop.
If Lamouchi can assemble a winning team from this mottley crew then he is a genious. If the players are bewildered as to why the chose Forest then that's undersrandable. If they are nit bewildered and worried tgen they have come here for the wrong reasons and that will evidence itself out on the pitch, in the dressing room and on the trainging ground.
Goals win matches, goals are what we go to matches to see, goals save managers jobs and strikers are generally the heroes. Now that role is where you want your competition! Doh.

Arran that thought crossed my mind. However the pedigree of player does not suggest that they have ever been consistent performers and have quickly become surplus to requirements. Seems like only the keeper had resitance from the selling club! Clubs around us have had a more astute window. Less is more attitude with bright and clever signings geared for the the long hard season.

Also Rutland what will be the benifit of the pre season. SL could pick a team of new signings that havnt even had one at Forest. How you integrate your playing style with a squad that size is beyond me. It's could take months.

Yes baloons a good point and is something i did say earlier. Maybe lamouchi saw pre season as a reveiw and sadly thought emergency surgery? Never mind the staff and team coaches will out number the fans coaches going up the m1.
