8 mill for appiah is a good price just a shame as he showed a lot of promise looks like were trying to balance the books to me.

Cannot understand this deal regarding Appiah. Shades of Burke and look what happened to him. The only thing I can think of is that they need to balance the books.

Cause we need to balance the books with the huge squad we have to pay ,thousands payed every week to players who never kick a ball ,crazy !

Seems a good price, just interested what other people would have valued him at?

I think Burke was further ahead in his development and was contributing regularly, very sad how its worked out for him but he's set for life financially.

I think it’s a good idea Ginger. I don’t think he will get a look in and someone has offered a lot of money for someone who’s not even making the bench. If you were the club what would you do?

We have to trust the manager and if he thought Appiah was better than what we have I think he’d be playing. Secondly the club have got it spot on lately in who they’ve sold and who they’ve kept. 23 million for brereton and burke and both are struggling to make an impact, based on that alone I’ll opt for faith in this decision .

Strange a second division club from Spain paying 8 million.

Ginger kid I would snap anyones hand off at 8 million never really kicked a ball for us and if I'm honest looked over awed when playing the few games at senior level.
Good luck to the lad and it might come back to bite us but a lot of money for potential.

If anyone is really paying 8 million for someone like him I am at a loss- this game has gone mad and is so far from the real world. Scared for the future of the game to be honest 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s quite a lot of money . It makes Brereton look like a bargain and that seemed like a ludicrous price.

Didn't, some English second tier team pay 13m for some Portuguese novice not to long ago .

Game went a long time ago, the rich clubs will only get richer an that will force smaller clubs to over spend to compete aka Bury/ Bolton, look at all the clubs that had to sell the grounds to keep within ffp.

Apparently a rich Arab has taken over that Spanish club. I don’t agree that this deal is anything like Burke. He was a first team key player who had the world at his feet when we sold him. Appiah hasn’t even broken into our second team. Weird because a lot of people seem to rate him.

Yes Carlo but they still haven’t had a return from it and they might not? As I said it’s crazy.

I would sell all day long for that money if it's true, who wouldn't! Think there is way too much in front of him to get much more than a sniff this season.

I haven't seen anything on it yet.
