Some people are saying Walker is unproven in the Championship, he scored goals for us in the Championship when Warburton was in charge, and that was at a time when Warburton was still finding his feet and teams were going through our midfield as if they were still in the dressing room having a coffee. Walker was still developing at the time which is the reason he was not given a chance by those that have taken over since Warburton left, that is why he was loaned out once given regular football he has shown what he can do. Yet some people insist he has found his level at Lincoln, yet some were all for Tony coming in from Peterborough. Funny old world is it not.

Agreed. Look at how Harry Kane was nutured at tottenham. Going on loan and scoring goals at a lower level consistantly is all that can be asked of a young developing striker. Walker deserves a chance. Better than trying the quick fix of expensive aging strikers warming the bench at a higher level.

This is not the first striker we have loaned to Lincoln and as soon as the goals start going in we have recalled that player.
That last player I seem to remember was a young chap called
Tony Woodcock.

I think they are planning a move for Tony in the summer.

I'd love to see Ivan Tony AND Tyler Walker tearing teams apart for us.

It is impossible for players to score goals at a level they are not playing at - no matter how good they are. Tyler walker has scored goals against premier league opposition when we beat Newcastle in the cup (he scored the winner) . Some people don't have a clue about player development if they think a player has found their level before they finish developing. Numb-nuts!

It will be great if Tyler comes home and is given a chance, as has been said previously he can't score in the championship if he's not playing in it. It would also be nice to nurture our own talent rather than another teams. Worst case scenario and it doesn't work out then at least we will know and move on however I have a good feeling that he will be excellent back up initially and then devolope into first team player, he knows where the goal is and has his dad's pace to burn.

If tony is apparently worth 10m. For a league 1 goal scorer. Then in today’s market how much could we get for walker? He will end up scoring well over 20 if he stays at Lincoln.
