After the fiasco of Tuesday night
Most fans are concerned we did not sign a really proven striker which we all new was needed. How close are we to financial fair play limit.
Because the crap we signed will not
get use any where near the play offs. Did we not sign Bong on a 2 year deal and Costa on a 3 year deal. And if Lamouchi fails to get use in the play offs which is highly likely. He will be gone in the summer and who ever comes in will be lumbered with them.
Just praying we get something tomorrow because if we don't Tuesdays complete balls up by Lamouchi will complete a really poor week for use all.

Never mind about the January transfer window we had all summer to get another decent striker in lol some of the excuses are very poor coming out of forest if clough was in charge he would of been knocking on a decent strikers door bringing him in his self just poor excuses nothing else to add.

Lyle Taylor would have been my choice as striker he's in last year of his contract probably cost us around £1m and even if we don't get promoted he would have been a great addition for next season, the difference between Tyler Walker and Lyle Taylor was plain for all to see on Tuesday. I don't want to be negative about TW because he's one of our own but he isn't of the standard we need for promotion.

The result against Charlton wasnt down to Walker, it was down to those that couldn't create anything and also couldn't defend.
Taylor is ok, but he's 29 and spent those years in the lower leagues, Tyler now has experience of the same leagues he made his name with and got six years on him.

I'm not saying Walker was to blame for Tuesday night, that was SL's fault, I'm pointing out the difference between their striker and our's, A certain Jamie Vardy didn't get noticed until late on in his career but Tayler has impressed me every time I've watched him, his work rate, his hold up play, his ariel ability and speed and for £1m would have been a lot better signing than the players we've signed in January.

So you watch Charlton and Wimbledon regular?

79 I watched him play against us earlier on in the season and he gave us the run around, maybe you didn't go to that match? , his stats this season 9 goals in 17 games, last season 25 goals and 13 assists in 45 games but maybe I'm not allowed an opinion and you are the all knowing football genius.

Skegbyred why do you think we would have got Taylor for a million quid?

Stevie that was the fee banded about by the media in January, he said he wouldn't sign another contract with them and out of contract at the end of the season which he will then leave for nowt, my point being that he would have been a good option for us up top without breaking the bank and IMO we needed a striker that could hit the ground running who was a proven championship striker.

Maybe Charlton were desperate to keep him to give them a better chance to not get relegated so there was no chance they would sell.
Why do people on here think Forest just need to put in an offer and get the player they want?

We know it doesn't work like that trent but we knew all summer before season even started we needed another striker that's 2 months then the 5 months leading up to janruary to keep looking then the month in January where we could sign someone its just poor excuses or crap scouting or tge fact they don't want to spend money its that simple.
