I know some on here will always treat a negative post as being fickle etc, but ask yourselves some questions. Have we been convincing this season? Have we been consistant? Have we entertained? Have we learned from our mistakes? Have we invested wisely? Do we carry a goal threat? Can we dominate teams with effective possesion footbal? The answer is a resounding no.
Learning is the killer from us. How many times do we work on getting crosses into the box? Its criminal. Cash does not even look up when in wide positions just tries to drill the ball in to absolutely no one. Grabban is not a big centre forward famed for his heading ability, yet we blindly go down this route and no midfielders backing up grabban driving into the box. The overlaps only happen in wide positions with no imagination around the box when we do get men forward, just give it to lolley and let him try and barge his way through.
We got caught on the break easily because it was easy for millwall to knick the ball from our ponderous dithering. And how they capitalised?
Whether on the deck or in the air they were clinical.
I mentioned last week that the way we play we need a big man, probably like matt smith. Or if we persist in our counter style we need pace through the channels who can reckover, we have neither.
Maybe Diakharby was broughtvin for that lol, just another mistake in that he ain't a footballer.

All that said and we are six points in front of Millwall after thirty seven games.

So thsts it cambs only points matter. Yup facts wre we are still well into the play off limit but how many times have we been humiliated at home? Perceviered with a one up top bore. Promotion does not define me as a supporter of forest. Promotion will bring greater problems with playing personelle. Personally i like a good footbaling team to watch first and foremost. VAR will put paid to goal celebrations, you hsve to wait for the men in white coats to deceipher the build up to find a reason disallow the goal. Its only money that drive certain people to the prem. This is a better league for competion than the prem so let's embrace it now and let the future take care of itself., we need to enjoy football and not endure this turgid style of lamouchi.

It's like pulling teeth with some on here Rutland. Your facts are correct, a poor team with no prem quality players in it. If we got up we would get hammered week in week out and run Derby's record close.
I'd prefer to stay where we are and be entertained for my £500 a year plus expenses (lots of expenses) .
We just aren't no where near ready for the step up
Just a poor team trying to bulldoze there way to the £200 million prize pot.

Thats it baloons. Marinakis is a businessman first. What we gain from promotion will be a pitance in comparrison to the investment needed to remain there. We are not a sheff utd with brilliant tactician manager who motivates with simplicity. They are strong cohesive and decisive with brilliant delivery. Watched them lastnight, no big stars but what a unit. Our wage bill is horrendous for where we are and it will have to treble to get the quality needed to remain there. And on recent dealings he ain't for investing in players.

I would think we all would like fast slick passing football but the Premier league money is what we need to get the club back on track, if we can get there either this season or next, although we will probably come straight back down we would have parachute payments which would enable the club to build a better quality team, look how long Brentford have took try to get to the Premier league playing the ideal way. Changing of managers, and owners have slowed progress on the pitch so let's walk before we run and get to the Premier league by any means possible.

These days I’m in the camp of not Caring how we win as long as we win . I agree the football bores me to tears it’s dreadful, if it brings success I can bear it . Not sure it will though.

Fans wanting promotion, they are growing impatient waiting. They are not to bothered with the hard work building the club, getting the right players etc. Getting promotion is hard enough trying to stay there is somewhat harder, it will come but not yet, patience is the name of the game. All Rutlands and Skeggs comments have true merit so keep calm and hang in there.

Rutland how can the answers to your initial questions be no? Obviously we have at times especially in away games or we wouldn’t be top 6. We aren’t top 2 because we haven’t been consistent enough, obviously.
