Just to emphasise how stupid and ignorant the F.A. and Premier League are; A few years ago the England team wanted to have the poppy on their shirts. The F.A. said it broke the rules of political statements and forbid it to happen. Uefa stepped in and supported the England players. I will leave it there.

It was FIFA that applied the ban, not the FA. FIFA then recinded the ban and the team wore poppies.
