Has anyone seen and studied a film starring Brad Pitt called â€Moneyballâ€.
It's about a different way of creating a team using Sabermetric approaches to analyzing players, and it has become the norm for US baseball teams.
It's worth a look and worth a try in my opinion.

It’s what football data analysts use. Issue is baseball they designed a team around getting on base, and defensively it’s not as bad. Football is a trickier sport because there’s no break between attack and defence it’s all in the same move.
