Flipping heck, Andy Cole. I'd forgotten that.

10 appearances for us. no goals. A cracking player though.

So we've had John Terry, Ian Wright, Aaron Raamsey and Andy Cole in the Garribaldi. Oh, and Charlie George ( he's one for the oldies) .

Not a bad list.

Although always remember clough taking bryn gunn off after 20 mins for giving the ball away

I can't get my head around how bad we are at passing the ball to each other especially under any sort of pressure.
I read a lot about fans being bored by passing in your own half?
There is nothing wrong with that, while ever you have the ball the opposition can't hurt you.
Its when you pressure those tactics and that's our problem, we get pressured and there is no outlet, just a punt up the field to grabban.
It was ok initially but opposition has soon cottoned on and now we panic under forcing tactics.
Maybe taylor is better at holding the ball up in those circumstances, but who has the pace or the free role to capitalize?

Aint all been bad stevie .
It turned that way when the committee finally had to concede to owners.
All been sh*t
I count myself very lucky and loved every minute of it.
66/ 67great attacking entertaining side but getting old.
Clough's reign was something very special.
I just want success again for the likes of my nephew and my kids that have seen nothing but a badly run club.
I think to paul hart and how close and then they pulled the heart of the team by letting three best players leave for nothing and didn't even bother replacing them.
Bassets forest was a great exciting side only for the pratts to sell one of our best players behind his back.
Billy like him or not would have done it but for not backing him after narrowly failing.
Its time for an owner just for once to make the right decision.

Seem to remember Andy Cole saying he left Forest due to a remark made to him by one Mr Clough, I could be wrong but am sure that's what I read.

Also remember Martin Oneil saying Clough told him he didn't score enough. Martin said he scored 2 goals in the next game and both times ran up to the dugout to celebrate. Clough's response dropped him for 2 weeks, classic Clough.

He just knew his team and how to get the best out of them.
They aren't robots that respond to how you want it .
They are human and some need a rollicking, but some need an arm to get the best out of them.
I just wish marinakis could take a step back and take a long hard look at things?
Impatience gets you nowhere, especially in football.
Get aproper infrastructure of management in place, by that i mean a chairman to correspond with the fans.
A Dof that has the right contacts and is forward thinking.
A coach that can work alongside that dof when identifying the player or the position we need to strengthen.
We just keep going from one chaotic season to another.
