Rutland if you read my post I said I would have Lansbury back in a heartbeat just what we need an attacking mid.

Didn’t he down tools and refuse to play when he wanted his move from us?

Not at all perks.
We sold him for 3.5 million in jan window because he was out of contract in the summer.
As usual we needed the money and his wages off the books.
He got injured before he left.

He may we’ll have done but so did 20 others for 10 games last season and 5 games this one, it’s so frequent and wide spread it feels as if it shouldn’t be held against any them. It must be some kind of counter culture, some movement like the age of promiscuity in the 60’s .

I would like to think if we did resign him, CH could bring get him back to something like the footballing standard he once was, at 29 he should be in his prime. "could be wrong"?

O yes I remember now, the old ‘injured’ chestnut. He downed tools to get his move. As you say 2star lots of players do it but I still don’t like it.

He cost us 1 million served us well sold for a profit.
Idont see any signings we now make that will go up in price and do the buisness on the pitch.
