Never mind a 3 game ban!

Pickford should imo be charged with assault for what was a dangerous knee high scissor tackle.

At it is he gets off Scott free a disgrace to football he ought to be retrospectively punished for that tackle which could end VVD's career.

It wasn't a tackle, technically. It was an attempted block by a goalkeeper trying to cover his goal, it's not quite the same thing. However, it was dangerous and caused severe injury.

It wasn't intentional though and I don't think any action should be taken. It's unfortunate, it happens in football.

I don't think it was intentional and I don't really care for the FA's interpretation of it, they're idiots. It was really unfortunate, I personally wouldn't be trying to persecute or punish Pickford for it and I don't think he needs an excuse. But that's just me.
