Reality has arrived on here. Been saying it for ages the players we have brought in are mainly ones that were not wanted by their clubs. Their is one good reason, not good enough. Either through age, ability, attitude, injury prone or agent interference.

I have heard some shocking insults on here regarding Chris Hughton. I could understand them if Chris had brought this lot to the club, but unfortunately he is trying to get a tune out of a knackered old juke box. He must have thought the squad was good enough before taking the job, I bet he is having second thoughts.

A lot of these players are on astrinomical money, way beyond their ability and shelf life. This ownership model is clueless as the hole gets deeper and deeper and the longer it goes on the big earners become of less value and so unattractive to move on. We won't attract quality players in January due to the calamity and the ones that come will be for a final payday.

Which clubs would let a good striker leave unless the money is too good to turn down and we are not in that sort of business else Toney would be wearing the garibaldi. So its the loan market and you know where that has got us?
Watching the highlights or lowlights has got me awake at 3am writing this.

To get undone by a 40 yard clipped pass in the first 3 minutes is unforgivable. Colback doing what he does best, abstract stupidity, christie a liability. We can't defend can't score have an imobile midfield. Our keeper is over rated and Yates for all his effort and a size 10 head knows where row z is behind the goals.

I cannot see where the inspiration is going to come from, i don't see a player out there with the captains attitude. What lift we got and luck under CH is deserting us. I was wrong about Matty cash valuation but I did say he was the one who drove this team last season, made lolley look a player, sorely missed.

If Sow gets fit and Grabban too, worral and the ageing Dawson will it be the difference? Will mighten and his pace get a chance? Something needs to happen and happen fast. The big Question will always be, has CH got it to in his locker to make this lot competant, competitive and more adventurous. Is it HIM or the players?

I don’t think there is much doubt that the fault lies with the players, Rutland. CH may get an occasional tune out of them this season but at the end of the day it is still a knackered old jukebox as you call it. Our recruitment policy is to blame in large part. There is a perfect example in Ivan Toney. He was available at a price we could afford but we didn’t go and get him. He is now banging in goals for Brentford and looks hungry every time I have seen him play. Admittedly he wouldn’t have scored as many goals for us as the service to him would not have been so good but he is the type of hungry player we should be after.

Toney wouldn’t score with the supply in this team at the moment,

I disagree stevie. Toney can turn and run at the defence and chase balls over the top. But yes the creativity is non existant.
