Please no more signings for the Forest donkey sanctuary, we don't need Grosicki

Bring back BJ and play him with Mighten for the rest of the season got to be better than Lolley and Knockaert.

The last time we pulled a player back early from Lincoln worked really well didn’t it . Lolley, knockart and grabban would do well anywhere with the right tactics . Blooding one kid (mighten ) in a team devoid of confidence is enough . Johnson isn’t the answer to our deep rooted problem, if he was he’d be sat on a premier league bench before he’d even seen our first team dressing room .

We 100% need Groscki, fast, strong, direct and knows where the goal is .

Walker did not work because he was not given a run in the team.

Knockeart has only just started to pick up a bit of form but only after being made a sub, and it is now close to the end of his loan.

Completely agree with you, 2star.
I've heard people on various Forest-related sites describe Grosicki as a "journeyman". He's a seasoned Polish international winger/ goalscorer and I'm sure he would bring something to our team, particularly if Knockaert goes back.

I suspect we will try and extend Knockearts loan and try and get Grosicki in. We also need a creative midfield player, and a better striker than Taylor. That would then give us options at the other end where we are not performing!

Walker didn’t get a run in the team under several different managers, are they all wrong?

Walker has had injury problems, and suffered from the virus whilst at Coventry.

Once he recovered from both one site has him as having a very good goals to games ratio. Mmmm.

Walker got plenty of chances at forest under lots of managers, he didn’t do anything for whatever reason. I would rather have than Taylor as back up to grabban . The team we have now should be ok to hold their own but the clubs inner workings have destroyed morale . That’s the issue not the players .

I do not remember Walker ever playing about ten games on the trot for Forest.

Obviously there is more wrong at the club than just the players.

If he can have a decent scoring record at Coventry then he could do it elsewhere provided that team plays to his strengths.

There is no point bringing any player in if the team does not play to his strengths is there?

What are our strengths? Or what were they? The team was doing ok but Walker didn’t seem to fit the pattern play. It’s really easy to say we should have given him more game time but didn’t seem to work for him here. I would still sooner have him than Taylor though. Thing is we should have been signing a replacement for Grabban but all we signed is a weaker back up than we potentially had. My point is I think we’ll be scratching around the wrong end of the table if we think yates and Walker are the answer . Cash was and mighten could be, the trouble is everytime we have a result like cash everyone thinks it can happen everytime with enough game time . We’ve had loads of duds through academy, it’s to be expected . The sad thing remains is our inability to reinvest sustainably . Burke, Osborn, cash, appiah and Brereton total about 45 million - we’ve got nothing to show for it and it’s scandalous truly scandalous.

The bottom line is that year after year we try to buy instant success instead of building through our academy, home grown players have the club at heart and will perform and give 100%, bringing in journeymen 30 plus year old players stifle the growth of the club and rob the club of funds that could be targeted at the academy, our so called top players will all be raking in around £1.5m in wages per season some for sitting on the bench on long contracts, look at sick note Fryatt he should be ashamed of himself, this should be a wake up call for the clubs hierarchy back to basics bringing in younger hungrier players and spend money on our scouting and coaching system.
